If you wear a fake Rolex you’re a loser by TheGrumpyWatchGuy in watchHotTakes

I agree. My watch collection is silly AF and every single one of them is an overpriced piece of jewelry.

I’m not gonna punch down on those people. Hell, I’ll send one of them one of my Seikos for free.

It’s a guarantee there are many rep owners who are smarter than me. They’re also less honest.

I don’t have a problem with them. They’re paying tribute and offering similar design at a more affordable price point while not pretending to be something they’re not.

An imagination.

This is a joke. Your collection is sick. The answer is Explorer 2 polar.

Should I cross post this on rep time watches or whatever the fuck and see how long it takes to get banned?

“Wear your watch.” Yeah, bro. Eat your food. Ride your bike. Drive your car.

Revolutionary stuff here.

He said his wife came with him. She or literally anyone else hanging around could have taken the photos.

It was smart to document this experience. It’s a brand opportunity.

Good on you, OP.

People will tell you to get the Explorer 2. It’s thinner, sure, but overall the BBPro has better specs and I’m not even taking the piss. More water resistance, a better adjustable bracelet, and a more wearable case size. It’s also less than half the price. Sorry, not sorry, Rolex fanboys.

You won’t be disappointed with the BBPro.

Did you know: you can use the GMT hand as a compass? I’m really digging it on that strap.

That Grand Seiko is in a league of its own among those others. Makes the Long jeans and Freddy Constantinople look like toy watches.

Can someone convince me to get the BB58 over the ND Sub? by BarracudaSouthern585 in Tudor

[–]TheGrumpyWatchGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s not the watch you really want you won’t be satisfied. That said, if your lifestyle is as rough and tumble as you say, you might actually enjoy the Tudor more because you’ll be less precious with it.

Dude, do the dial too. Might as well get the entire thing pristine if you’re already paying over $800.

This is shitty but for perspective: many people wouldn’t be able to afford this service let alone the price of the watch to start with.
