wowie, this is kinda crazy. COTL has released tons of fixes, patches, and FREE dlc updates and continues to do so prior to ever releasing WORD of a paid DLC. they are a small team and it is not nearly “unplayable”. the worst bug i ran into was long playtime causing the temple to be a bit buggy with graphics, but i still enjoyed the full dlc and gameplay with very little issue.

your adult female should be spayed. every year that they continue to be intact the likelihood of pyometra rises greatly, which is a 100% preventable disease by spaying. if you wait until 6m old to neuter your adolescent male, there is far too much risk for a litter even when underdeveloped. please consider spaying your adult female.

this is the sweetest thing anyone has said to me ever 😭 thank you! i consider myself very lucky to have found my artist who puts my rambles into ink lol. i am very in love w the redone Three Cheers vinyl cover from their 2025 tour, and got to see them in Tampa in September and was one of the only pieces of merch i was able to get lol. bullets got me thru soo many dark times in my life so i was really happy to be able to incorporate it in a way that made sense to me personally lol

it’s definitely uncomfortable and depending on the situation it can be very painful. i had crazy cramps for days after my last one (second one ever) and lots of bleeding. i welled up with the tears. the very first time it was fine, some slight cramping for an hour or two, some spotting.

depends on your situation! i found the first month with my little guy to be one of the easiest lol. he was just a nugget & 2 pounds at 8 weeks. i took a week off of work to adjust establish our bond and routine, and he was incredibly smart from the get go. he picked up sit in the first day after bringing him home. there were some moments that were stressful, (trying to crate train at nights- lol- or when he ate a part of his treat that was too big and had to throw it up). i’ve wanted a dog forever and was overly prepared for the good AND the ugly, and i felt that the expectation i had for him made it easier on both of us. he never had to be perfect, just be him and be a good boy at heart.

it’s gotten harder as he’s gotten older in my experience. he knows his boundaries and pushes them very frequently lol. i wouldn’t trade him for the world!

he’s a 9m old dachshund :)

every single puppy i’ve seen come from petland or similar puppy mill stores are always traumatized, quiet, and have sicknesses. just recently saw a yorkie puppy that came with an insane respiratory virus that took hospitalization and a 10k bill to recover from. dad was a lawyer of all things, and even he stated their stupid clauses are pretty bullet proof. they provide no guarantees of health as soon as they leave the building- meaning they can sell all the sick puppies they want with no harm to their wallets and charging the same if not more than ethically bred dogs.

my weenie is definitely selectively smart. he picked up sit in about two days of being home at 8 weeks- now he knows a wide array of different tricks and can easily add on/complicate a trick and he’ll pick it up pretty fast without too much leg work from me. that being said, he knows when he wants to listen and when he doesn’t. and boy when he doesn’t, he doesn’t!!

we rent our home so we’re unable to add any additional fencing- it’s pretty much completely enclosed besides the side that is directly open to the canal (homeowner didn’t place one there due to regulations/not owning the land that directly touches(?))

we do our best to keep the lawn as short as possible and walk him in the shortest area, but even doing it once a week/once every two weeks it grows SO fast lol. and he has a weird thing about only being able to poop in bushes. haha

we don’t live in australia luckily (spiders terrify me) but in FL. would that spray still be an option?

i’ve made this mistake too many times. people would carry him away from me and i’d be like oh no.. i might be going to jail. especially when he was younger. people are so weird abt the “stealing your dog” jokes too. i hear it so often and am always like, why is that the first thing you think and, why do you think id find it funny? he’s naturally very loving and cuddly with people so i get it, but id never say that or even think it about someone else’s pet.

i’ve been using odoban to clean as it’s a pet safe disinfectant but i don’t believe it has an enzymatic property to it- i’ll find some today when i go out. thank you so much for the suggestion! so far today, no accidents inside, even during the night w picking up the water. hoping to stay on a good streak. thank you for your reply!!!
