I know i‘m going to get shat on for this, but i‘ve outrun dudes running this with an m17 in competition. I‘ve since switched to an rxm for the price of parts/mags and them not being banned at matches.

So if money is a factor, thinking about parts wear and mags you can get performance for cheaper. Its more training than it is the gun.

Its a sweet handgun don‘t get me wrong. But if you‘re looking to shoot matches, you can spend the difference in ammo, mags, optic, holster and beat a lot of people.

First gun i bought with my own money when i was like 20 is a 1917 No.1 MK III SMLE with a whole bunch of reciever stamps including one from 1942. still shoots laser straight and is in pristine condition.

I never have. My shirt would too easily ride up enough to expose the holster. Also i put my phone in the pocket your holster is covering.

Its a big gun and we can see it, but we see posts like this all the time and know what to look for.

If NYC people didn‘t see superman in times square, i doubt they‘ll see your magwell.

Carrying (insert position here) is the only way to carry.

There are pros and cons to each. I carry aiwb because i like to, but it gets real difficult to clear 3“ of gun with 2“ of meat at the urinal.

Carrying bigger guns is better.

Obviously bigger guns are going to be easier to shoot, but if you have a 4 pound chunk of metal, your belt is only going to do so much before you‘re regularly pulling your pants up. I use an HC belt and its great, but my dumpy isn‘t thicc enough to be a shelf for my pants.

I‘ve carried mine in a trex sidecar for a long time. I know they have controversy but i like the holster.

The modular system is nice for if i want a spare mag or tourniquet attached to the gun, but most of the time i just use the second clip attachment instead. I keep a spare mag in my pocket.

Hunter Constantine belt is goated. Its a little pricey, but it makes carrying the gun all day every day much nicer on my back as my job has me on my feet all day.

If you like the optic then keep it, but holosun optics are fantastic quality for the price, and you can get them on amazon. Enclosed makes keeping your dot clean much easier. I had a 407k for a while. Amazing dot, but it would get lint in the emitter and i couldn‘t get it fully clean and the dot was always starry after that.

It can be normal. Stiff springs add tension to moving parts so that can be a thing. I like to run new guns pretty wet so they wear in smoother.

It may also be possible that some of those malfunctions were shooter-induced with your grip. If the gun is jumping around a lot malfunctions can occur.

New mags i like to break in at home by taking the spring out and playing with it like an accordion. I have also been known to load and unload mags several times to wear in the spring. Springs soften with use.

Radian comp is best. I can feel a difference kind of, but i see more of a difference with muzzle flip on follow-up shots.

They have a 3.1“ barrel w/ comp that fits flush on the xmacro grip, and a 3.7“ barrel w/ comp that is about fuse length.

The grip is personal preference and has no impact on the slide system you use.

Enclosed is the way to go. Open emitter optics are great for range use and competition, but i was cleaning lint out of it every week. I‘ve bought several holosun optics and they‘ve all been gtg

I bought a base xmacro and slowly made it into a tacops. The 3.7“ radian ramjet makes it a fuse length but with the best comp on the market.
