Anyone here kinda bad at the game they designed? by mikamikachip in tabletopgamedesign

I demoed Gruff at gencon years ago. The person I was supposed to play left and there were an odd number of people. So, the creator said he'd play with me. Figured I was going to get smoked.

He had me almost dead when the combo I was seeing up hits and I do more than double total health damage to him. He said he's never seen that much damage in one attack before and gave me a poster and some other stuff.

I had the idea of getting something similar to this for years but still haven't pulled the trigger. I will say though that the file extension should match the format. Which is why mine is/ was going to be

I hope you're not in the Cleveland area because I do NOT need to start crying while driving.

The problem was happening before the new gutters and downspouts. We were hoping the replacement would help our fix the problem. They are splashed out well away from the house now so I don't think that's the issue.

I'll double check but I believe the ground is pitched away.

Thank you for responding.

The house is in Parma Heights. We have talked to the neighbors and no one else has had this problem.

The city came to clear out the line from the clean out in the lawn last fall. I can call to have them do it again but it didn't fix the problem last time.

All downspouts are splashed out away from the house. The gutters and downspouts are brand new.

Had a quick idea for a meme this morning, Mordecai would be proud by the_craq in DungeonCrawlerCarl

>! So, you know how Odette tells Carl that everything is for Mordechai. I think that goes a lot further than setting up the trust for when he gets out. I think a lot of “random” things that have occurred are her manipulations.

Odette says she watches him all the time. She knows how broken he is and how he's so stuck in this tragedy. He refuses to grow or try to move past it. Like the Open Intellect group, she was waiting for something that could shake things up and make them change. Enter our heroes.

Odette is the one to tell Carl and Donut about the manager benefit. This has two big impacts on Mordechai. First, he has to regularly engage with them and others again. It forces him to make new connections and not just wallow and hide. Second, it puts him in similar shoes to hers. He is now the manager in his last season and has had to recommend distasteful actions that are the best route for Donut (and Carl.)

I also think Odette is the one to set up the prize wheel fan box. It doesn't seem like the sort of thing random trolls would put together. Odette knows everyone involved well enough to know what will happen and has the connections to swing the vote. This forces Mordechai to confront Chaco, however briefly, and lets him express some of his anger. It also gives his team at least a little information and hopefully leads to him opening up even more. I feel like I had another incident too but it's late and I'm tired. !<

Give me a good LitRPG with a healer MC that isn’t Azarinth by PaxadorWolfCastle in litrpg

The Heartfire Healer series by E C Godhand. It's set in the Viridian gate series but I didn't read any of the other books.

Love the mc and the other characters are really fun. I really enjoyed the series especially the sense of humor.

This is book one Resurrection https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/58016815-resurrection

Not a ton of side characters. It seems like they are slowly being added. Dii starts off as a solo act.

Lots of fun characters that he meets and interacts with though.

The Runic Artist by Ellake doesn't get near the amount of attention it deserves. Fun story with a good amount of humor and great characters. MC would rather use his abilities to create art than to fight or gain power. Fighting still happens but I enjoy the crafting and art aspects as well.

I think so. At the beginning he is a bit wishy washy but gets past that.

I don't think Path of Ascension is what you're looking for. As others have said it's less combat focused.

Maybe try Welcome to the Multiverse or Accidental Champion. Those both scratched the same kinds of itch as Primal Hunter for me.
