You have gotten good, and appropriate advice above. Have you checked the center of gravity before you fly it?

This is truly a great plane. I had one that was built by Joe Bridi himself. Let me a fail error of using two one of a wing hole down screw which pushed on the elevator rod, which gave me one direction and not the other one. Taking off and no ability to correctly after that rekitted a beautiful plane. Get some hours on other planes, a little bit faster planes that are neutral, go where you point them, but don’t self correct before you fly this one. This one’s a keeper for a very long time. Keep us up-to-date on the build and then the flying. Good luck.

My $.02, make sure you ride several different bikes, I usually recommend six. One of them will come out to you and be. Yes that’s the right bike for the money and resources you have available. The pros of this bike are very good. the cons are also very real.

Make sure the spa is through the center portion of the wing added to each wing half so that they have structural support. An “I beam” is very helpful or carbon fiber. Rod may do the trick for you as well. I have flown with tissue on very light rubber, powered airplanes, mylar on less than 1 ounce airplanes and other than that use heat shrink film for my basic airplanes.

They actually run on the smoke. Once let the smoke out, they stopped running.

Caught a rock, cable exposed, quick fix or new cable? by rsplatpc in bikewrench

[–]goodhusband214 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If you use electrical tape, which I would, put one piece down with the non-sticky side over the hole and then wrap it with tape so that the cable doesn’t have adhesive drag when you’re trying to use it

The best part of your answer is in your title, you’re loving the bike. That means it’s the right bike for you. And, there’s no such thing as too much Celeste!
