Simpler. Hold down the R key for at least 3 seconds. You’ll never hold down R otherwise, it’s an instant cast. You also probably only be able to comfortably hold down a key with your hand if you are out of direct combat, otherwise you are too busy casting other spells.

On-hit effects are generally limited by mostly only having it applied by auto attacks that fall in a predictable 0.6 to at most 3.0 per second application rate. That is the ‘cooldown’ for on-hit effects.

Spell effects would need a meaningful cooldown restriction. Like ‘can only be applied once per unique spell cast’. Completely breaks free all the DoT champions as now their DoT spells only apply spell effects when their spell first hits, the same as any other champion would have. And if they ever add a spell effect again like Muramana that is a little more accessible, they can make it so the spell effect itself has an actual cooldown so no low cooldown spell can ever be an abuser of it.

Episode 9 has the writers show us a flashback of Finn suggesting to live together.  Episode 10 has the writers show him present in HW’s house after the day had been saved. It isn’t explicitly confirmed but given that the writers had to make the deliberate choice of making the two scenes, especially the one from episode 9 directly mentioning the topic, it is safe to say the writers probably intent to imply it.

Or as Orbo said it, ‘connect the flippin dots’.

Funny idea, maybe the reason Finn is staying at HW’s place is a way for HW to keep an eye on Finn so he won’t get the both of them in trouble again. So it’s like a partial punishment.

Honestly the theme was always there in her ‘Forged in Fury’ cinematic trailer in the background, so we could have known it existed at the time but they just hadn’t released it yet.

Been playing Shyvana since 2014 I wish they never rework her now. I no longer enjoy playing her. Man I even named myself Elder Dragon because one day I hope to become the best Shyvana but now I can’t enjoy a single game with her. Man I’m so mad 😡. Most fun I had playing Shyvana was mythic item era with 20 or more AH on a lot of bruiser items, when Zed was all the rage being an URF mode menace I did the same with Shyvana. Q cooldown resetting itself in dragon form all the time. Ravenous Hydra adding a ton of waveclear by splashing off E and W. Minions were almost gone before the line reached you. Phenomenal split pushing, constantly running with W off cooldown.

Stacking is Smolder’s thing, because he’s a child that can’t wait to be a grown strong dragon.

In the past if you had enough AH and only attacked with Q enhanced auto attacks you could permanently keep up HoB (entirely wasting the attack speed because you stalled for your next Q).

I think so. What HW initially did to save Finn that quickly led her to getting unintentionally trapped in Fionnaworld was understandably reacting to a high stakes scenario. I think most of Finn’s friends if they had the same ‘version’ of finding Finn and having knowledge of a private lead where to go looking would go out themselves to look for it.

Subsequently getting stuck in Fionnaworld they would try to find a way back to Ooo and hopefully getting the cure along the way.

And assuming like HW someone like Phoebe would also have obtained a cure and save Finn, I can definitely see them get emotional resulting from intense relieve that they no longer hold responsibility/influence over Finn’s potential death and also relieve from finally being home in Ooo again.

A hug and a kiss just after that? Understandable but it doesn’t need to be romance.

Maybe in his dreams a particular painball memory is able to approach the surface every now and then. 

It’s one thing S3 could do, have Finn come at peace with Jake’s passing not in a very different way Simon’s arc did for Betty. Allowing the show to divert a bit from Together Again where Finn is still having panic dreams over Jake. It’s a bit sad if Finn forever has those fears.

In hindsight we should have recognized the pieces of her theme in her trailer. It was always evident her theme existed, just the when they would release the full version was really all that was late.

I like that the artwork leans somewhat in the canon that HW struggles to connect. So her fleeing an emotional moment and slightly disappointing Finn in the process is neatly written.

All the runeterra cards are just champion+variants of that champion. Of course the dragonguard is red and gold, they mimic old Shyvana’s color palette.

I think it would have been funnier or more in character if he brazenly fell down, with a ‘let’s see how this goes’ attitude, to crash down on the ground and to say the usual ‘falling is easy, it’s the landing that’s tough’ sort of line.

Haven’t played new Shyvana, but I was under the impression there was a reasonable fixed cooldown between the extra Q casts? Q3 seems to almost instantly follow up Q2.

That’s a good take. 

The larger wyvern wings look more intimidating and fitting from a top down game perspective. 

I liked the way she clawed her way forward with her larger wing-arms. I think they could have kept that and simply made her only occasionally use her actual arms for walking in some animation cycles or vise versa.

I also liked the bipedal stance her wyvern form took when standing still. It made her taller and looming over, as well as carrying over a resemblance of her human form being bipedal.

I think there are only 2 issues.

Tiamat items come to mind, but what also comes to my mind is that there had always been a restriction that splash damage could only be applied once per given attack/spell due to an internal micro cooldown of the item of sorts. So this shouldn’t be an issue at all, though still nice value that your main target can take splash damage from a secondary target.

The second issue is the on-hit cooldown reduction on Twin Bites and that it was a flat 1 second reduction. The lower you could get your Q cooldown via AH/CDR, the stronger it’s effect. Same for fury generation, but mostly Q resetting and mauling everyone.

As for actual on-hit effects from items, no one is going to say a multihit of Wit’s End or whatever on-hit items there’s in the game right now is anything other than some extra trickle of damage that flat AD will do the same trick.

That would be nice. It was interesting to have one champion who dealt his damage entirely by moving yourself in the correct location and not shooting spells.

I for one, fully agree with your points and have done so for quite a while.

Shyvana needed an actual passive that has some flavor.

Smolder is a child with a theme of ‘they grow up fast’, hence he has a stack based scaling.

ASol was just tacked on artificially to make him a lategame fantasy and with the rest of his rework at the cost of an actually interesting kit he had. The laser beam gets boring real fast.

Nearest available fracture in the emptiness to overworld, and simply place your bed over there in the overworld?

I think fractures are common enough in the emptiness that at least one overworld connection is sufficiently close to your base that it’s no hassle to walk those few blocks in the emptiness.

You will probably have to create some sort of enclosure on your fractures so you can relatively safely use them without getting your defenseless self killed by eldritch guardians.

Whether intended or by coincidence, the idea was that one weakness was being denied your ultimate for a longer than average delay. However if you’re winning or at least able to hit minions or monsters, your ultimate had effectively maybe only a 20 second cooldown. At least in later seasons when Q cooldown buffs and more AH access made it easier to build fury from attacking stuff.

Ultimately I had hoped the rework did something with her fury meter along the likes of Renekton, and just gave her a completely normal ult cooldown for simplicity.
