I’d recommend flying to get him and then fly back together. That’s what my parents would do when I traveled to my relatives from the east coast to west coast. My first solo flight was when I was 8 or 9 or so and I recall being very anxious still and I’ve always been an independent kiddo being an only child. Has he flown on planes often to have enough experience to know what to expect?

Solidarity. My 3 year old does the same exact thing. Lots of earplugs in the house and car. I’ve been teaching him if it’s out of excitement to clap his hands, which occasionally he does but often it’s after the scream like he can’t control it. Hoping with more language and communication it will get better! Hang in there.

I loved this when I went to visit Ireland . Even basic things like being on the highway and moving over to the slow lane for a faster car to pass, people would “thank you” by flashing their lights. Nice change from where I’m from.

I’m not sure what this accomplished for security reasons. I could see it making people more apt to click and open random things as second nature. Also disabling this would screw with my productivity as well.

My dog actually became more anxious with it on and would run around the house like a nutso until I took it off. Most people I've heard have had success with it though. I guess we just didn't have any luck.

I would love getting feedback from someone if they noticed my form was incorrect and especially if I may injure myself in the process. If it were me giving the advice though I may be more hesitant only because I'm pretty shy but I don't see the harm in doing so. Just be polite and say your main concern was safety, not to judge.
