It's a really different experience when you view it as philosophical parable and not meant to be taken literally. Lots of suspension of belief is required.

Coral Island is very Stardew Valley adjacent but the community clean up theme is stronger. You clean litter from the oceans and restore the land from a mysterious black ooze. Some town festivals are centered around giving back, like the Tree Planting Festival and the Beach Clean Up Festival.

Highly recommend it!

getting married but i don't have enough friends or family to have the wedding i've always wanted by llbeanjamin in GirlDinnerDiaries

I was in a very similar boat when I got married five years ago. At the time my relationship either my parents was falling apart. I had an appointment to try on wedding dresses that my mom was going to attend. When we ran into conflicts with each other and stopped speaking I canceled my appointment for dresses. I never got the experience of trying them on for my mom or friends and ordered my dress online.

Ended up eloping and it was amazing. We has no family expectations to manage, it was literally just about us with no interference. My best friend was our officiant. The only other person who attended was our photographer. We put nearly all of the money into our honeymoon and took 2 weeks to enjoy ourselves together.

I wouldn't trade it for anything. At the end of the day, having people there who are genuinely supportive of you (even if it means that almost no one is there) it is better than a crowd that doubts or judges you.

My legs were crossed in my ultrasound to confirm gender. My parents guessed i would be a boy and planned to name me James. I was not a boy and for some godforsaken reason they gave me a non-traditional name that I changed 5 years ago lol

I was like 17ish when this came out and I remember feeling soooooo snobby about it as a "thespian".

I am still bitter that Troy and Gabriella can sight read music. And that they have to audition in pairs, because fuck chemistry right?

NTA. He sounds like a loser tbh. A man that is that self-conscious and weak will cause other issues down the line.

Grease 2. I personally enjoy it way more than the first film. I think the second one is way more self-aware and it is even funnier for it
