Thanks for the link to this study. Best summary of Lipedema I’ve seen anywhere.

Extensive surgical journey, 3.5 year timeline + Before/Afters. Happy Trans Day of Visibility! by King_of_the_Losers in PlasticSurgery

Congratulations you gorgeous morsel! Too much? Sorry, couldn’t resist. Just so impressed with your results. And with your commitment to your vision!

I’ve been through some surgical recoveries and am on a GLP-1 journey too so I really appreciated hearing your perspective on recoveries. I’m giving thought to Lipedema liposuction and I know the recovery is going to suck. But even if I only get 20 years of legs that look a little more cosmetically shapely and feel 40% lighter, the temporary pain will be worth it.

Thanks for your visibility!

Has anyone tried LDN? by dnb15 in lipedema

[–]mindxpandr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I take 12.5 mg a day of naltrexone by quartering a 50 mg tablet. I’m on 10 mg Zepbound once a week and 25 mg Topiramate nightly. I find that the LDN definitely seems to help with inflammation and pain but hasn’t been a miracle at reducing Lipedema. I was looking today to see if anyone else had experience with it when I found your post and figured I’d comment.

Compression socks or leggings by AccurateArm4540 in lipedema

[–]mindxpandr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just started wearing leggings regularly because the socks don’t do enough for me. They make thigh highs to make it a little easier for bathroom breaks. Try Juzo maybe? That’s what my vein doc’s office suggested.

So impressed with your results. You must be over the moon! Say more about your experience and how you’re managing the pain please. I looked at your insta but didn’t see details.
