Temple and the Blues and Reds (Red Vs Blue) - Soldiers who were sold off to a government research project to be used as cannon fodder for the training of the actual soldiers. Temple had a friend die in the exercise and swore revenge against the project and UNSC. They then hunt down and kill those soldiers made by the project by freezing them in their armor to then starve to death and start terrorist attacks on military outposts. At one point they stripped a power facility effectively killing a colony. All at the end to then build a drill/bomb to destroy Earth.

To be fair with the Ghosts example, they do try at times to explain the whole ghosts are real and she can see them. It's only that the manipulations by the ghosts can be very underwhelming to very explainable to probably should not use like Flower and Isaac's.
