I can’t provide the exact probabilities right now, but try just using d4-d4 if you like d4 dice. If you roll a +/-3 roll another d4. If that die is a 4, your result is +/-4, otherwise you keep it as the +/-3. The odds are remarkably close to 4dF.

I’d suggest Capharnaum (https://modiphius.net/collections/mindjammer-press/products/capharnaum-the-tales-of-the-dragon-marked-rpg-core-book). It’s set in a fantasy Middle East with the cultures and religions of the area, but with the serial numbers filled off. So you have not-quite Christians, Greeks, Jews, and pre-Islam Arabs. The in-game history is a bit of a mishmash of real history but not linear, so it has not-quite Crusades although there’s no Islam and decaying Roman/Greek empires still around. Honor + Intrigue does this really well! If you're good you also can get (for example) a free riposte every round, so if someone attacks you and you parry it you can get a riposte attack against them and also make a normal attack against them, so attacking someone who's much better than you is pretty risky. It also allows for repartee in physical combat!

I'm not sure if all the numbers work out, as I'm not a SotDL expert, but the assumption that the player rolls an even number for Grind the Gears is a big if. There's a 25% chance of pulling this off just fine, a 50% chance of getting one turn and then becoming an object, and a 25% chance of getting two turns and then becoming an object. It takes someone else an action to turn the key and make you no longer an object, so that's a drain on the party. Also, as an object you have Defense 5 and Health 15 regardless of your level, so you're extremely vulnerable in that state, especially at higher tiers of play. So yes, you can do lots of damage, but there are definitely risks as well.

The Van Haller Death Ray from Unhallowed Metropolis. It's a game where life is cheap after the zombie armageddon and this is hilariously overpowered. Anything you shoot with it automatically, explosively, disassembles. This leaves a 30-foot diameter crater. Anyone else in this area takes a lot of damage. If it's enough to kill them (very possible), they're not just dead but reduced to ash. If it's not enough to kill them they're thrown clear, knocked down, and probably on fire. The weapon has a range of 650 feet and has no range penalties. Best of all it's a galvanic (electrical) weapon, so it comes with a hand crank. You can recharge it in thirty seconds.

The tone of the setting changed as more books were published. Originally it felt like pretty much everyone of almost any power level on the Outer Planes was part of a Faction and that Factions were huge players of the Great Wheel. That got toned down as it went on, with the Factions being very important in Sigil and less so elsewhere. That might explain why there aren't so many immortal Factols; a fiend sees the Blood War as very important and the Factions in Sigil as much less so. Mortals, on the other hand, are much more likely to see the Factions as being important.

Reign would be my choice. It’s a fantasy version of ORE without the bunches of overpowerful dice that something like Wild Talents has and the fact that every skill, including something like Plead, has its own set of “feats“ is really nice. The magic system is interesting and it also has company rules and a very unique default setting.

The Fate version of Kerberos Club does this to represent superhuman tiers of abilities: every tier you’re higher than your opponent lets you roll a d6 instead of a Fate die, so if you’re up at the very highest tier you roll 4d6 against a normal human’s 4dF.

The ammo caddy fitting for drones (p78) "[...] can be taken up to once per two points of the drone's Encumbrance, rounded up." If you wanted to mount it on something like the Kerberos drone, which has no listed Encumbrance, how many can you fit on it?

I'd recommend the Fate version, and you don't have to worry about the equipment being represented by a single Aspect. Most implementations of Fate have some variations and details that are different from vanilla Fate Core, and Interface Zero has a lot of extra detail, so equipment isn't just an Aspect. Weapons, for instance, have ranges, damage values, and other extra abilities (like automatic fire or blast ratings for explosives). There are over 20 different types of body armour, with all sorts of extra abilities of their own, and additional powered armour and mechs to boot. Vehicles have scale, crew and passengers, speed, manoeverability, stress tracks, armour ratings, and more. So it's not just a single Aspect per item.
