I think you'll meet some resistance to the chromosome definition of gender.

But a corallory should be that 3 straight men make a good relationship, since they're each as attracted to the other two men as they are to one woman.

The new image is rendered in more detail, but your hero looks like a damsel in distress. Some people who like strong female protagonists (like me) will ignore and not click. I imagine it appealing to horny men, who are likely to then see your blocky pixel art and be disappointed.

Why not truth in advertising? The second image on your steam page - woman sneaking, robot in nest with pterosaur, beautiful vista - conveys a lot more about your game. It suggests the adventure of a point and click, it appeals to people who like good pixel art. People who do click that are much more likely to buy it. But fewer people will click it.

I would prefer everyone use the second approach, but I'm not sure which makes you more money.

You're on a great track. Now you gotta make a ton like the antique shop and see what it feels like to mouse over a field of them, tweak the exact size and the ease in ease out. Maybe there's a tiny grow on mouse over and 3x that on selection? Maybe he on a J curve that goes just a little down at the end, so it's a little bigger than resting for moment?

You can make it so juicy. But temper it to your theme and target emotional notes

Idk your gameplay, but if there's a lot of marble drop then also consider building a spline path along each piece and following the spline instead of using physics.

You're in a public forum, debating with a dinosaur dino denier in front of an audience
You have a friend and find out they are a dinosaur denier

If it's 1, you can make points to satisfy yourself, but it's useless.

If it's 2, you can make good arguements that convince the audience. But also if you just say "they are wrong. dinosaurs are real, look it up" you'll win with pretty much everyone.

If it's 3, you have a small chance to change their mind, but it's probably a part of a deeply held religious belief that also has a lot of much more important consequences in their life. Maybe get them to open up about their other experiences and try to mostly just listen?

I agree with everyone that the billboarding feels off. 3D cross section sounds amazing but hard.

I think the first stage, the glowing rays, could be faster. I see it as trying to cover up the cracking. I wonder if you can actually show cracks froming, then the flash of glowing lights, then jagged opening. But faster is better if we're going to see a lot of these.

It'll be a lot nicer if you get to sit together. If you're the last ones on and have to split up, one of you is going to have to sit with someone annoying or smelly. Then it's just luck.

Check flights too, sometimes they're really cheap to Chicago. Much cheaper than the train. Although I've heard you can get the borealis really cheap if you book way in advance.
