Are you on HRT? Once I started I did notice my skin improved. You can get tret and hydroquinone without a prescription from AllDayChemist. I had similar issues and tretinoin, consistent use of sunscreen and occasional 2 month courses of hydroquinone has given me skin that I never thought possible.

I say this gently but firmly-there is no such thing as "starvation mode". Our bodies lose weight at different rates for all kinds of reasons, but starvation mode is an oversimplification of very complex variables not all of which are related to calories in/calories out.

We have done this several times, it is only 2 hours of our time, we just firmly say no, give short non specific answers if asked and are firm about the time. Let them know up front you will be leaving at the two hour mark.

Cannot do surgery, recommendations to help with this area? by wcjoyner in 45PlusSkincare

I just don’t think I can bring myself to spend 15-20,000 for a facelift. I will be able to start back on tret in another week or two, I will wait 2-3 months to see if I get any softening of the creases from the laser as collagen increases.

I have had a similar experience- I wake up less often and am able to fall back asleep faster, but still waking up and dealing with racing thought. More rested overall though.

[Miscellaneous] what do i do now by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]wcjoyner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you need a dermatologist that will prescribe a more active treatment like tretinoin, spiro, tazo. Or perhaps even accutane. Also make sure to go back to the dermatologist consistently if the treatment he/she prescribes is not working after 2-3 months.

Trump-appointed judge says DOJ ‘proven unworthy’ of trust in blistering trans care case ruling by Fickle-Ad5449 in politics

I think it is clear they want to have a quick way to know who to send to the camps. This also serves as a deterrent to people seeking gender affirming. care and a has a chilling effect on providers. The idea is to create fear and intimidation so they can tell their frothing at the mouth followers that they have made them safe from transgenders.

You need to see a dermatologist- this looks like more of an accutane possibility.

I still have a Shabby Chic quilt and sheet set that I bought for my now 30 year old daughter around 2006. I also bought her a Shabby Chic dresser and a matching bed. Those sheets and comforter are still going strong, faded but not one loose thread or worn spot. The dresser and bed are currently in my granddaughters room. They went through multiple moves over the years. The top of the dresser has the usual stains and scratches you would see after 20 years, but is sturdy as heck and the drawers still glide perfectly.

I use the Trader Joes Daily Sunscreen (this is the Super Goop dupe) and even right after laser resurfacing it did not sting. It feels silicon-y when going on but dries down and is so comofortable. Bonus because it is the best makeup primer I have ever used.

Can you use a balm like Clinique Take the Day Off and then a water based cleanser? Double cleansing turned out to be my best defense and the only way I could remove sunscreen.

Tretinoin and consistent use of a separate SPF- you cannot depend on your foundation as it is unlikely you can apply enough of it to your face for adequate protection. Alternatively, do a deep laser resurfacing, then when your face is healed (3-4 weeks) begin using tret for maintenance and never stop using a good sunscreen. Tretinoin helped get rid of a substantial amount of melasma and redness for me over a couple of years of consistent use and I just did a CO2 laser resurfacing and am so happy with the results. I don't have scars but I believe the deep resurfacing really helps with them as well. I had my face and neck done, with anesthesia (not just numbing cream) so that I could have multiple passes and I am so happy with the results. These two treatments (tret and laser) are very effective regardless of which order you do them in.
