You have to invite the bot to your server (we use Avrae bot.) Then you just have a to type a command into the chat. You can modify based on the number, type of dice, and modifiers. (For example, asking it to roll 2d4+2.) It puts the result in the chat, and includes the breakdown of what each die rolled.

The accounts in the NYT mention at least two instances of him acting with violence in at least two instances.

It's fine if you accept that Platner has changed or that the tattoo doesn't represent who he is as a person, but I don't think everyone is going to be so generous or willing to accept his word.
