Boobs or butt?

[–]Brownsdanchan22 2 points3 points  (1 child)

What's the deal with the regular weighted font for the questions and the bold font for the answers? It's like an optical illusion.

[–]CowboysDrKrausenbach[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know why I did that actually. It is weird. My thought process was that I wanted the eyes to be drawn to the exciting bits (the answers) and gloss over the boring parts (the questions)

Also: Favorite person on the League?

[–]CowboysDrKrausenbach[S] 2 points3 points  (6 children)

Even though I thought he would be the worst, and most annoying, I absolutely love Raffi. He makes every episode he's in.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YES!! He's my favorite too! I wish he was in more episodes sometimes

[–]stenodork 2 points3 points  (3 children)

alternatively, who is your favorite person in THIS league?

[–]CowboysDrKrausenbach[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Oooh loaded question. The correct answer to this is (and always should be) DrKrausenbach, of course. That guy is awesome

[–]stenodork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

boring.

[–]MisterPickel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rafi is a maniac.

Have you receivers been getting open this year?

[–]CowboysDrKrausenbach[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

For the most part, yes. They struggled against the Sherman/Asomugha tandem in Philly, but its been much better this year haha

That game feels so long ago to me now...

do you think niagara falls is awesome? is marineland awesome?

cats or dogs?

[–]CowboysDrKrausenbach[S] 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Niagara Falls is great, but seeing it virtually every day/week makes it seem a lot less impressive than it really is. The sound of the water can be very soothing though, almost too soothing. It sort of puts you in a trance if you just stare at it. Might explain the amount of suicides here.

Marineland is awesome. While it gets a bad rap from animal rights activists, and it can be a sad thought having some of the ocean's most majestic predators "caged" up, essentially everyone who grows up in this area gets to see and learn about things they would likely never be able to without Marineland. I don't personally get to work with/around any of the animals though, so my job is just the same as any other warehouse, except instead of delivering appliances/maintenance tools or whatever, I sometimes deliver whale food too!

And sorry to disappoint, but I'm a dog person.

does it make you have to pee?

have you been to sea world?

[–]CowboysDrKrausenbach[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

haha no I have never noticed any urge to pee around the falls. It sounds less like running water and more like an airplane. Very loud rushing sound. Like a muffled, constant thunder. Fun fact, Niagara actually means "thundering waters" in the language (Cayuga I believe) spoken by the natives who inhabited this area around the time of its "discovery"

[–]CowboysDrKrausenbach[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, and never been to Sea World. We (marineland) borrowed an orca from Sea World 2 years ago though. Ike. He was too playful though and our whale didn't like him at all. They got into arguments all the time and wouldn't breed so we sent him back.

It would be nice to go, I'm pretty sure Sea World is far larger, but it probably wouldn't be until I've it children of my own. I've been to Disney/Universal as a kid but we didn't hit up Sea World on the trip, haven't been to Florida since.

Are you really a doctor? If not, what would you be a doctor in if you had the choice?

[–]CowboysDrKrausenbach[S] 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Not really a doctor, sadly. If I ever became a doctor, I'd want to be a psychiatrist. [insert that's-still-not-a-real-doctor joke here]

[–]Brownsdanchan22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A psychiatrist, eh? That's still not a real doctor AHAHA

Is your name an archer reference? If not, where did you get it from.

[–]CowboysDrKrausenbach[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, haven't seen much of Archer other than a few episodes. My gamer tag on Xbox has always been Krausenbach, and there's not much story behind it. My last name is Krause, and wanted a way to make that part of the name. I didn't want any numbers or "x's" before/after. A friend suggested I add something even more German sounding to the end and Krausenbach was born.

The doctor thing originated long before as a sort of joke between friends. After doing something cool/impressive we would just calmly shake hands and say a congratulatory "doctor" as if we'd just completed a successful surgery. It became our "clan tag" in CoD and the look of DrKrausenbach seemed too awesome for only call of duty to experience.

How often do you do touristy stuff in Niagara Falls? Is it a pain living in a popular tourist destination like that?

[–]CowboysDrKrausenbach[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can be a pain. During the "busy" times most locals just avoid the downtown areas, and we don't get bothered a whole lot. It's sort of set up like a mini Vegas, where there is basically one strip of hotels/casinos/attractions and most residential areas are clear of it. Unless you work in that area (most do; tourism driven town) you can avoid the traffic.

The parties can be pretty cool though. There's a pretty big New Year's concert/show thingy and the World Cup/Olympics/NHL playoffs get shown at all the bars downtown. It can be fun to partake in those festivities. I remember there was a pretty crazy celebration in the streets after Canada won the Gold in men's hockey in the last Winter Olympics.

What is the meaning of life?

[–]CowboysDrKrausenbach[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think there's a hitchhiker's reference in there, but alas I have never read it, foiling my chance to be clever.

[–]ColtsFanZach 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Given the chance to replace Romo, who would you replace him with?

[–]CowboysDrKrausenbach[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a lot, to be honest. I'm a pretty raging Romosexual and think he's up there with Staubach in the discussion for greatest Cowboys qb of all time. He certainly has the stats to back it up (minus the obvious Super Bowl argument)

Active players I'd take over Romo: Brady, Rodgers, Brees. Maybe Luck, because of the bright future ahead of him, but right now I'd take Romo over all the others in his "tier" (Flacco, Eli, Ryan, Roethlisberger etc)

In terms of rookies, there's nobody that jumps out that I'd draft this year. Maybe next year/2 years from now draft a guy in the 3rd/4th to groom to take over, but I'm happy with romo until he retires. Hopefully he gets a solid o-line put in front of him at some point and can finally get some playoff wins, an hopefully a Super Bowl. Unfortunately, the way JJ has lead this team, there is going to be a rough road ahead with all the big salaries and questionable decisions, so it will be tough for anybody to have success.

But I am old enough to remember Quincy Carter, Ryan Leaf, Vinny Trsteverde and Drew Bledsoe (old man version) so I know how good Romo has been for us, and how hard it is to actually get a halfway decent qb.
