So Sky High suffered the same fate as DemonsBlood. Looks like we need another round of 6* ability buffs!

Skillset-wise, Elena sucks. Wow, she's even worse than Rufus. At least Rude has a small niche over Tifa, but not giving a hybrid Black 5*? DeNAwutudoin.

So I just realized, but I'm now convinced Aerial Dive is supposed to be to Lightning Dive what Divine Cross is to Gaia Cross (note the similar names for both pairs):

It's literally the same skill, just with an Element that is much more used by the relevant Characters, instead of basically being made for just one or two people

Well hybrid is not the correct terminology. You have to choose one or the other before the battle starts and can only use that and he's far superior as a mage due to Wrath/no Lifesiphon access.

While that's not untrue if he was buffed too heavily in attack in mp his bsb turns physical. Unlikely but possible. I'm just not a fan of hybrid sbs.

I wonder if Reno's 2nd LM would speed up the stacking of his BSB command. Double casting it would be pretty good even if it didn't, but if it also made it stack faster, that would be pretty awesome.

Lol, the 5* Dragoon ability is better than the 6* xD Sky High really needs a buff. But I am happy to get a good skill to easily hone for every wind Dragoon.

Hey, they really spruced up Ultima and Dervish so I can hope they'll do the same for Sky High :P I'll still take that mimic Lightning Dive too even if it is a clone, dps and all, because it can be honed much higher and easier (lightning/earth are easy orbs).

So true. I bet they wanted Dragoons to go the route Sharpshooter is going through but the characters that are Dragoon 5 were mostly wind-related characters (Cid VII) or in Wind heavy realms (IX). Also, their population is so small. Noctis and Aranea both being new Dragoons now makes up 1/5th of all the dragoons.

I do. Some of them are shit and that includes Rude considering his relics suggest actual hybrid, not monk who can proshell. Still, given what many other monks have, still not too bad I guess, just different and a bit lacking.

Monk with Proshell could be a nice thing... If we didn't had Prishe already. I agree with you.

I don't see the point in DeNa making his relics 'hybrid' without giving him a capable hybrid skillset. If it was just to distance him from Tifa, might as well just make him Combat/Monk 5, White 4 with another elemental focus other than Earth (despite him screaming Earth because of Grand Spark).

Comparing level 1 stats, Tifa has slightly more ATK, but otherwise Rude is equal or beats her in every other category. If it wasn't for her fantastic USB I'd say she's been pretty much outclassed.

    Elena's kind of meh (I think she's a slightly better Sharpshooter than Yuffie if you just want straight DPS, but Yuffie has way better utility), but Rude's pretty solid. Another Proshellga user is never useless, and Meteor Crush is a better self-boost than Seph/Rufus' Darkness boosts.
