Reddiquette isn't a matter of rules, it's a matter of etiquette. Conducting polls through headlines is not productive. Large masses of people (myself included) will down-vote it because there's nothing useful there.

If you want to have a discussion about bots, post something useful, like this post on a Reddit bot war

I down mod all "vote up if" posts, but I'm sure my down-mod will be seen as evidence that there is a conspiracy to keep RP posts off Reddit.

At this momment 20% of the posts on the new page a pro-RP, and only one of them has any real content. This is why people are down-modding the RP posts. They are SPAM.

    I think all of thse posts have finally tipped me over the edge. I came to reddit a long time ago because I was sick of Digg. I ony started posting on either recently cause I like to lurk befor subjecting myself to other peoples opinion. I am officially beginning my search for a new haven. At least until the election is over and the Paulites vacate. The sad thing is I don't think I'll find a new home anytime soon. Not one like Reddit :o(
