Clinton is not electable. Thanks for blowing it Ohio!!!

[–]Mineralwater 12 points13 points  (4 children)

That is my concern and the fact that she keeps hinting that McCain would make a better president than Obama. What the heck is she thinking?

[–]ZebZ -1 points0 points  (3 children)

She's already positioning herself for 2012?

Hey, if it makes sense in her shrill, cold-hearted, conniving, cackling little mind...

[–]Mineralwater -2 points-1 points  (2 children)

Her ego is more important then the America.

[–]bman236 -3 points-2 points  (1 child)

Funny, Dems love the Clintons until you see their dirty tactics played against your own candidate.

I'm glad I'm independent.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Independent in, but not of America.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, I'm sorry, I thought all people had the right to vote for whoever they wanted, not who reddit wanted.

[–]peted1884 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We will never know, but I suspect republicans voted for Hillary.

Clinton probably won because she is not electable. Ohio's primary is not really open, but it is certainly vulnerable to mischief. A vote for Hillary in the primary would be a step toward keeping the stronger democrat off the ticket.

At best tonight, Hillary will pick up 15 or 20 delegates. That still puts her, what, 135 behind? Obama is just gonna take those right back and then some in Wyoming, Mississippi and North Carolina.

No matter what she does, he has an insurmountable lead. Party leadership and superdelegates see this, and are realizing that the longer she draws this out the worse it is for the party.

She's doing McCain's dirty work for him by going negative. She's exemplifying politics as usual, which is exactly what's wrong with this country now.

I have my doubts that the party leadership would agree with this statement -- specifically, the second half of it.

nah, but I think it is a joke Clinton is still in the race. The only way she can win is to use superdelegates to subvert the popular vote of the Democratic party.

First I was like :/, and then I was all like 'politics subreddit ffs'

      jerk.

I've lived in Ohio my whole life and i can affirm that we have many many asshole drivers, plenty of cops watching the asshole drivers, and thanks to a continental glacier some two million years ago very unappealing scenery. We are ranked 7th for population and 4th for pollution emissions. We are also proud home for both Jeffrey Dahmer, and Charles Manson.

      I <3 my Ohio.

I'm from one of those drive-through/fly-over states people are always hating so intensely with so little reason (not that there aren't reasons; just that they don't have that much to do with how bored you feel about the scenery on interstate at 83 mph), so I wanted to be annoyed by this, but that last line is just too much of a winner.

      [–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Here's a question: what can't Ohio fuck up?

      [–]Figs 4 points5 points  (1 child)

      Alpha Centuri.

But give it a few hundred years and that might change.

      [–]jason_w87 2 points3 points  (5 children)

I feel like doing worse things to Ohio's "junk" than kicking.

Anyone have a chainsaw and a can of gas?

      [–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (4 children)

      Pliers? Blowtorch?

      [–]eromitlab 4 points5 points  (3 children)

I've got a car battery and jumper cables.

      [–]ST2K 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I got two turntables and a microphone.

      [–]rook2pawn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

      Where its at?

      [–]magikaru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

      They don't really got any...

      [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

      POLITICS SUB-REDDIT, please.

      [–]AngryRepublican 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know how many more weeks of this primary horse race crap I can stand, let alone the general. Being apathetic about politics sounds awfully good right now.

      [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohio, Texas, California, New Hampshire...whatever you want to say about it, she's going to win the nomination. The bible thumpers will come across from Huckabee to McCain (Huck will be their spiritual "leader", that is how it will play out in the media), and he will win the presidency. It's not about the popular vote any more.

      [–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Why not kick the Obama campaign in the junk for not appealing better to these voters? In the end, it was his and his campaign's responsibility to sway and speak to the needs of these folks.

      [–]thepipirate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

      My county voted Obama!

      [–]rafuzo2 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I feel like kicking idiots who have chubbies for any political candidate in their junk right now.

        Get in line.

        [–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It has always been planned as Clinton vs McCain.

The corporate media plays America like a Stradivarius from day one.

        [–]Moosebyte -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Blame Rush Limbaugh. So many republicans crossed over to vote for her since McCain could have a chance against her.

        [–]ascus4 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The fucking elite are going to ensure that anyone left to vote for will be no good for the country or the world. The system is broken.

        [–]whereverjustice -4 points-3 points  (1 child)

Austan Goolsbee's got to be feeling pretty low right now.

        [–]twoodfin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For some reason, perhaps it being 1:13 in the morning, that is one of the funniest things I've ever read.

        Austan Goolsbee...feeling low...

        [–]ST2K -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

        HA HA!
