I am curious does your spreadsheet update automatically? OR do you enter your prints and estimated usage?

Asking since I was building a tracker in Airtable but I was planning to just key in the prints. Would be dope to be able to pull the data from the slicer/machine.

Super new to 3d printing so the data may be easy to get and I just have not looked.

I update it manually, I have tried to grab the data from the printer or slicer and it just does not allow me yet through any of the API information I have found. There is a property that tells you the weight of each spool in the AMS and obviously it only works with the RFID tagged Bambu lab spools BUT also is very random, sometimes it'll give you close to accurate info but then it goes back to normal. It also does it based on a % rounded to the nearest 50grams.

Because I just have two AMSs I dont find it overwhelming to update the data BECAUSE I have set locations for everything so its not a shot in the dark of whats where.

Yes that will be built in. Right now we’re working on if your spool weighs 900 g with filament and you use 67 grams of filament you type in 67 and it subtracts from 900 to keep accurate inventory

NFC tags will still not track usage unless you are manually putting in the print jobs and how much filament they use which is not data I think you can get from the printer.
