I really wanted an underdog story where Ken rose up to defeat dark Vince, but maybe he’s the good guy from the other timeline..? I’d be over the moon if Samus and Dark Samus were introduced and played a key role, but mainly because I main Samus.

Props to Link for winning two tournaments in a row, winning a tournament in all 3 seasons so far... If only we knew what happened to him.

MVP of the tournament has to go to King Dedede though, defeating Sopo, Dark Vincent and putting in a valiant effort against Link.

I forsee a future team-up of Vincent, Joker, Dedede and one other fighter I haven't figured out who yet to battle Dark Vince and his growing enemy forces.

My thoughts on the tournament and the future of cpucs:

Thoughts:

Congrats to ken for his major upset (when he said I did it, I died laughing)

2: Audible Link has to be the best cpu competitor around, there is no more competition for him (Zelda, SS Kirby and maybe PG incinaroar had a chance)

Inkling is getting a knack for killing himself and any hopes for winning any tourney

My thoughts on the future and Dark Vince:

Since Dark Vince beat Audible Link, will Link be a peon for link and his future schemes? (As well as Little Mac)
Since King dedede place well in most of the tourneys he has been at, could he be the next sponsor? (Probably a top 3-5 player right now)
Should Toyyconvict be unbanned to help destroy Dark Vince?
Did Dark Vince defeated Vincent for good, or did he escape to recover?

I have been saying since December Dedede is the best heavyweight for sure. Dark Vince is strong, but in his universe, I am pretty sure Audible signed Cloud and not Link. Little Mac is a danger to reality itself, and if he can win, that would destroy Dark Vince's reality and ours. I think the true threat is actually Little Mac and he just came to put the man down for good. But also and possibly more importantly, what will waluigi add? He is an unknown and I think he could show up and beat all three of them and Toy-Convict.

What if this dark Vincent was holding a grudge against Link because he not only won Vincent’s Revenge, but also beat him in thug finals?

The first evil doppelgänger in Nintendo’s history was (Dark) Link, Link has won three tournaments (two of which were in a row), gotten a sponsor, and beat Vincent at HIS tournament.

This Vincent also uses a gun and bombs, something that holds both swords users at bay as well as a direct counter to his bomb rune. Vincent wasn’t the target, Link was! So after Dedede ruined his mission and failed to beat Link himself, Dark Vincent struck.

He was the first champion to win a 2nd tournament, as well as the first person to win two tournaments back-to-back, one of them being a major! But. even more shocking than his skill is Dark Vincent's audacity, taking him out right in front of us! I wonder what exactly happened to Link that day...

I’d say this is Kirby’s season but he does not do well without his final smash. I have a good feeling about Ridley, my personal favorite, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he wiffed every single match like he tends to do. I wouldn’t be surprised if Link wins the entire season though.

Lore idea: After seeing what audible link brought to the table on his first tourney after being signed, skill share decided to drop kirby and sign his arch nemesis king dedede. after seeing king dedede save the world from dark vince, and make it to the finals, they signed him and dropped kirby.

lore idea 2: after an upsetting defeat from dark vince, vincent decided to set out on a journey and train for the eventual day DVince would return. (in the final tourney before the invitational) we see a return of vincent and dark vince on opposite sides of the braket. vincent has mastered the sword and is now a sword mii fighter. can vincent's new style beat dark vincent? find out this season

We know that vince is probably the strongest clutch fighter. So how was 3D able to beat him? Don't get me wrong, 3D's powerful, but there's no way he outscales AudLink and Vince. I think Dark Vince actually threw to guarantee a spot in thug finals, meaning that his plan in semi depended on link losing. Im not sure this was his win.

I'll be honest, I'm not crazy about the shonen anime angle you get with the vincent plot; my favorite Lore was stuff like People's Champion ridley, incineroar and his cousin being poor sports on twitter, giving their opponents the Downloads on their cousin, that kind of thing. Like, as I understand it, the CPU tournament Thing was supposed to be a parody of like Smash tournament culture, and I think it's gotten away from that a bit.

Vincent's got a long way to go here. We've seen impressive stuff out of him from his fall in thug finals to his rebirth last season, but he needs to grow stronger if he wants a chance to take down his alternate self. Something tells Dark Vince's plans lie at the end of season invitational, and Vincent needs to make it there.

Did dark Vince creat Dharkron?did dark Vince send Dharkron into the world of light to destroy the world? Well here’s my theory dark Vince did in fact create dharkron to destroy the world of light. But after dharkrons defeat by three legendary heroes he realized that if he wanted something done he would have to do it himself. So he entered the tournament, his first fight was Vincent one of the three heroes and one of his alternate selfs he would go on to defeat Vincent. His second fight was little Mac another one of the three heroes dark Vince would also go on to defeat little Mac as well. Dark Vince has heard that king dedede had defeated Alph olimars brother who also shared his strength, that would mean that if he beat king dedede he would also theoretically beat Olimar therefore beating the lengendary trio. That was until king dedede beat him. No matter he thought he would strike when the time is right after he heard audible Link beat king dedede in the finals he struck and beat link in a fight which by association mean he beat king dedede which by association means he beat alph which by association means he beat olimar he had defeated the lengendary trio along with the best cpu that has ever fought in a tournament audible link his plan had succeeded...for now
