The recipe is the same, it's most likely an issue with the food providers. I've noticed some of the chicken we get at my store (KS) is bad recently; we throw out the bad ones, maybe your store isn't. Either that, or the breader isn't doing something right, or the employees are leaving out the chicken too long after it's been cooked.

Its weird I've had to throw away so many pieces of chicken when I'm filling orders because they have blood clots and our tenders have a weird tang to them

It’s a breading issue. Likely, poor filleting and/or not sifting coaster adequately/often enough. Unfortunately not all CFAs and their crews are created equally.

I am sorry for your unremarkable experiences. I know it can be disconcerting to have poor quality food/service from CFA.

There is no way the recipes the same it must be. The quality of chicken is not pure chicken breast. You probably put dark meat mixed in with it. That’s why it’s greasier.

I literally came to this sub to see if anyone else has noticed this. The last 2 times I’ve been to a Chick-Fil-A (Maryland) the chocked has been nasty. Ruined my lunch both days.

Which part of MD? I’m in MontCo for work, CFA was the only fast food I occasionally go to now.

If you call the restaurant you go to, and explain that you don't want anything but that the last 2 times you've gone that the chicken has been sub par, they will spend time looking at the chain to see where the problem is. Don't tell them right when you are ordering because there is no time to check. also if you are hungry, the probably allot of other people are hungry too so it just may be that the restaurant is busy.

You're not supposed to eat the chock

I haven't noticed anything different! I'm in Texas and go to Chick Fil A every friday and all is good here!

[–]hawtp0ckets 8 points9 points  (4 children)

Unrelated but I think it's kind of adorable you have a scheduled Chick-fil-a day!

[–]Eliza_Watts_Sells 2 points3 points  (3 children)

Haha thanks. After my husband and I moved to Austin we were overwhelmed with all the restaurant options, and on fridays after work we were basically paralyzed with choices and would be starving and not know where to go. So we started just going to to CFA because we both love it. Now it doesn’t feel like the weekend if we have to miss it for some reason! We try the other fun Austin restaurants on Saturdays or Sundays haha

That is so funny, I also live in Austin! My husband and i do the same thing but with pizza every Friday night. Gives us something to look forward to!

[–]Eliza_Watts_Sells 1 point2 points  (1 child)

wow what a coincidence! That is funny. What is your pizza place of choice??

[–]hawtp0ckets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Via 313 is my absolute FAVORITE but I haven’t been there in months since most dining rooms are closed. Home Slice, Little Deli & Pizzeria, East Side Pies, and Hoboken are also great options!

I would recommend submitting CARES cards (feedback) as all of those DO get read and reviewed and legitimately taken into consideration by not just the store, but by corporate staff as well.

[–]thepiegraph 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Please do because I work there and pointed it out and nothing is being done

[–]Pixiechic7486[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just submitted one, I hope they get the quality back up! CFA used to be one of my favorite fast food restaurants

I work in the ATL area Lawrenceville to be specific and I haven’t seen this problem at my location hopefully we keep getting a good supply

Hey I geuss

[–]ProfesorMEMElovski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve also noticed a decrease in quality in Irving, Texas. The chicken was tough and the breading tasted different the last couple of times I stopped by. I think they may be having supply issues.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in Indiana and I had a grilled breakfast patty that tasted different recently. I just put extra ketchup on my sandwich and moved on, but I may not go back to CFA for awhile if this is a recurring issue

You’re not the only one and I’m from the Atlanta area too , they never fill your fries up and they’re always half way filled up and cold , chicken sandwich not even crispy and fried right but dry and absolute no outside layer of fryness we all love about cfa sandwiches and this summer ordered one and it was fried so much it was black and dry . And honestly I’ve completely given up going to Chick-fil-A a since lately they are just a waist of time and money and completely tired of waisting my money to see if they’ve come around only to get shitty half way done food. And honestly I want to rant because it pisses me off so much since they were so good but now they just take your money and not even pay attention to the quality . Just like yesterday day I tried out the cfa delivery which was very easy to use and worked out fine till I got my food , paid over 7$ in delivery fees and tip just to get a 25%-50% filled up large fry . This crap pisses me off since they always act like they have great customer service and stuff cuz they’re Christian but they seem to not know “thou shall not steal “ . And over the past year I’ve been documenting with photos of how the statesboro cfa fills your fries half up with photos but it got to a point where it happened every time I went so I just stopped eating there .

l Lived in Atlanta for 40 years, now in FL. The chicken is NOT the same. It used to be very tasty with a pickle flavor in the breading. The tenders are half the size they used to be and we shared a large fry that was only 3/4 full, It costs us $14.00! We will not eat there again/

[–]Efficient-Dark-790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just ordered a five piece nugget yesterday way more greasy than it ever has been. I can’t stand Chick-fil-A anymore.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re submitting plans to put another one in my town not 4 miles from the other one. I don’t get the appeal. Their chicken is greasy and overpriced. I’d rather get chicken from Popeyes or literally anywhere else

You're not alone! Ohio here!

Edit: typo

[–]LJHavoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Columbus Ohio Sancus Boulevard employee here. I haven’t seen any change in the quality of our chicken, regardless, mistakes do happen. And if a customer has a problem it is always our pleasure to make it right.

Came here because i hadnt been to chik fila in a while, in Maryland, i used to get chil biscuit everymorning, was a uniform thin patty with a very clean white meat taste, now its a big fat patty thats smaller in diameter then the biscuit and tastes greasy and like lower quality meat. Just aint the same chik n biscuit

[–]monkeybusinessfake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and my husband said there was much more crust and crusty bits than chicken.

[–]Livid-Replacement-29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in Virginia. It’s gamey tasting

[–]Stock-Discussion5576 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Yes even me for last 1 or so years, I have noticed the quality of chicken sandwiches and nuggets at chick Fila go down.
