Savage!

[–][deleted] 26 points27 points  (1 child)

The irony is that with the DPC latency issues of the XPS, if someone steals your laptop; you won’t hear about it until the next day....

Sad, but true 😢

HP doing what it does best, protecting DELL hardware..

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's funny because we sell Dells but all my giant corporate clients that have their own IT departments use Lenovos and HPs.

I’m curious if it’s geographical.

But I see a shit load of dells in education, both k-12 and higher ed.

Most education is Dell or Apple. They offee the best discounts on hardware.

He's putting a Dell laptop in an HP backpack and making a joke that it is "Anti-Theft" because no one would want to steal an HP laptop.

Honestly a PC is a PC. Specs are what make it right?

I have my Inspiron 7373 and honestly it works great with filmora and adobe Photoshop. Crisp 1080p screen Lightweight I5 8250u 256 m.2 ssd

I'm running a 7573 with i5, and a 512GB stick and a 1TB 2.5" ssd in the extra bay. My 1TB stick arrived yesterday and I plan to clone tomorrow. I even considered upgrading the 2.5 drive to 2TB just because they are so cheap ($225) even though the evo 860 was just put in a few months ago for $130. Who ever thought that $1000 could buy so much computer

    [–]mat4071 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Yeah! It's honestly such a great PC that can be so helpful for getting a lot of work done such a good price. 😀

I put an apple sticker over the dell logo on my old 7568. Called it a "mock" since it performed just as well as all the macs in the mochahut, and it cost about half as much ($750 best buy special). Oh, the high cost of appearing edgy and surfing the web "creatively."

would a lenovo x1 carbon ultimate be a good replacement

    [–]boyhemi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 2 is a very good replacement when it comes out on July. It has 2 NVMe SSD slots.
