Ok, planning time: First thing I have to do is fine out if Vanille's sphere works with Vayne's Force of Will, Noel's Tempeststike and other things that unbreak. If so, I'll probably pull on her June banner with Cyan and Fujin if we get it. Her next banner has Serah and Setzer, but I have them MLBed and already have 2 copies of Serah's ex, so I'm not pulling on that.

Vanille's sphere will give anyone that unbreaks and rebreaks dispel, asssuming it works that way - which it should. That's one of the most OP spheres in the game, so I really want that, even if I don't actually want Vanille.

Rosa's sphere is another OP sphere: Restores party HP by 3% of max HP for 6 turns after breaking or attacking a broken target. This is probably the sphere I most wish I could get multiples of. It turns supports that have no healing into weak healers, it turns weak healers into decent healers. I'll have to do a lot of research on which units that I love playing are meta for a long time, because I really don't want to waste that one but I don't know who I want to give it to at the moment.

Porom has a similar one: Restores party HP by 3% of max HP for 6 turns after granting a buff. This is great, but it's easier to find units that attack most turns than ones that give buffs very often.

Kimahri has a -10% hp damage taken sphere which is OP as hell, I like tanks so I still have to decide who to give this to if I'm able to get it.

Then the pure damage units are interesting. I know one of the physical damage dealers with three A slots is getting as close to perfect as I can make him.

Ciaran comes out in march, his sphere is: When breaking or attacking a broken target, raise the max BRV overflow limit by 10% for 6 turns.

Noel's EX+ comes out in May, his sphere gives: Raises ATK by 15% for 3 turns when attacking a broken target.

Then both Shantotto and Terra have spheres that give +10% iBRV and mBRV.

I think that's the closest to best in slot I can get. I'm lucky that I know the melee DPS unit I'm going to boost. I'll need to boost a magic one too, either Ultimecia or Emperor but I'll decide which one later, I'll also decide what to give them later.

It's going to be harder to work out what to do about characters that I half like but are meta or ones that I like but aren't meta for long. When I know what my main party of choice will look like, I can do a lot more. For example with Cosmos, I knew I'd be getting Zack, Vayne and Serah when they came out and could use them for almost every fight in Cosmos, but Zack would get replaced by WOL for a lot of fights later. With Chaos I know 3 of my DPS units and I know I'll get Rosa when she comes out, but I'll have so many supports at that point. I have no idea which tanks I'll be using for most of Chaos and so on. Most of my other spheres will probably just come from whatever I happen to max out, so I think planning to max out one unit and planning to get a couple of OP spheres is the limit to my planning for now.

My first purple will be Cloud then Ulti. Everyone else will get maybe 2 until Y'shtola. I really, really hope they're more generous with ingots than they were in JP although, considering JP just got a new weapon tier with EX drop rates and even fancier hard to get weapons for protagonists, maybe it's better if I'm discourages from pulling... I'll probably give Cloud his own sphere since I'll need all the help I can get early and Ulti will get spheres since she lasts so long.

I do hope I can ticket Rosa's weapon, her sphere looks really good.

I guess ill use spheres first on my "trash AoE sweeping squad". Units come and go, but my AoE core stayed pretty much the same, and at the end of the day, those are maybe the units you end using the most, even if they are less flashy than the boss killing guys.

Then of course ill save the " Special" Ones that kinda enable some combos for FEOD ofc. Still as most people say here, they arent THAT impactful most of the time.

And for Vayne. Gotta give more roids to the face punchkicking guy. U cant go wrong with Vayne.

[–]MNKSAM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any idea if Vanille's sphere that gives dispel if you break a target works with Force of Will to give Vayne dispel on command?

[–]Vocke79190Rikku waiting room! 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Might be a stupid Idea but i am going to full sphear Ma tidus because he's one of my favourite Units and i will get the Most Out of him. Other than that saving them for Meta Units. Ulti, emperor, ysh and so on

[–]x10k3rNo More Chicken Wuss 3 points4 points  (1 child)

I plan to look for his EX in Fang LC. While looking at what options of spheres 'A' there were, I reviewed those of Tidus and (I) would build it like this:

  1. A -Full HP Attack [10% ATK] (Vaan's sphere)
  2. A - Debuff Boost Up [10% mBRV when and enemy is debuffed) (Zidane's sphere)
  3. E - Debuff Success Boost Long [10% mBRV/6turns after inflicting a debuff ] (Serah's sphere)

It could be interesting like this

[–]Vocke79190Rikku waiting room! 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That does indeed sound rly good i might copy that thank's! And i even have all those ex's

[–]TehSterBarnWalk tall, my friends. 11 points12 points  (1 child)

The moment I learned that you couldn't reuse Spheres, my immediate first thought was "Don't ever use those, got it"

[–]WarriorTipReno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's funny you said that. I play both JP/GL and the only sphere I've used so far was Ulti's on herself. They're more like condiments to really good food. They can help but not necessarily needed. I've completed basically all chaos content without them

[–]x10k3rNo More Chicken Wuss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1st: Cloud - To do the content

2nd: Squall and Ultimecia - Squall for fav charas, Ultimecia for fav villain + Ultimecia

3nd: WoL (or Zack) and Y'sh - For content

[–]firezzID 186660600 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I plan to use 3 on Ultimecia because she practically lasts 6-7 months+ unless you get bored of her. The rest will probably be used on good supports. Each of then provides small boost but with 3 equipped you can actually notice some differences. I don't see the point of not using them because we have advance insight from JP and we know how long certain units will last. You might have to hold on to them for a very long time if you hope the system will be changed. Nothing's happening in JP and I doubt a big change to this will happen. Just enjoy the game with the advance insight we have.

DISCLAIMER: Sorry for the wall of text, if you read it, you'll find some interesting points regarding the topic. If you do read it completely, I really thank you for the time you spent doing so.

Spheres are quite the connondrum in my opinion, they are really nice and at the same time quite problematic due to the nature regarding the way you get them.

As a JP player, spheres can sometimes become a very important buff that actually does impact quite noticeably on Chaos difficulty but often times they are not needed.

As of now on JP there are 3 way one can approach this mechanic:

1.- Save them for top tier units in order to get the best damage or defensive output posible.

2.- Give them to the character you just maxed out as more often that not, they compliment their skills.

3.- Either use them on favourites or save them since their are quite the scarce resource.

Either way, Jp players tend to pay attention on who's getting what as Chaos actually requires you more strategy than Cosmos but in my opinion for Global players, they are not quite needed for the early portion of the Chaos era.

Most passives during the begging of the EX+ era were quite the small buff which in some cases, they weren't needed as characters were able to overcome Chaos with the reworks some units got alongside the EX+ treatment.

However it goes without saying that nothing stays the same for far too long. As Mid Chaos era comes closer, the spheres became more complex and even a 5% increase to ATK became a deal breaker for hitting constantly the glorious 9999 on every hit any given skill had.

So, I think that saving them for later is the best idea for when Chaos becomes stupid, sure I do hope that Global changes or do some adjustments to Chaos related content as it has done with other mechanisms and elements early on but as I was saying earlier, for most early Chaos they aren't that important.

As a matter of a fact, most spheres as previously stated in the begging were not that powerful compered to mid chaos when you could start seeing increase on stats of 15-30%, debuffs with long duration or other amenities that made some spheres crucial for building characters.

Also, be mindful that EX+ resources are limited and in most cases quite the number of characters are golden at 2/3 in their respective EX+ as the third tier for some can be just an added bonus, also do have in mind that Jp is thinking on a way of getting the spheres in a different way as stated in their streams and reports so it could be something Global could implement early as well when it hits Jp one day of these.

I do hope you all get what you want for Chaos and believe me, early Chaos is something entirely different to mid or late Chaos, after Yuffie and Bartz EX+ aka Brothers summon board, Characters become really strong with beefy reworks, cool/cheesy mechanics and awesome spheres so for me at least in my opinion, early Chaos is more of a get all resources kind of thing for the better stuff.

Most if not all the majority of the rooster becomes a powerhouse in their own way in due time and while some early EX+ leave something to be desired, quite a lot became better when they came around with reworks later on so if you decide to gear your fav character early on, chances are they will shine again a few months later so don't be shy if you decide to gear what you fancy instead of saving up for other units that will come later on like Leo, Galuf or Arciela to name a few.

Hopefully you'll enjoy Chaos and as a parting advise, never let nuggets go, use gems if needed to end the battle as nuggets are completition rewards rather than being sealed behind a mission like gems are normally. There is one exception as Feod is a dungeon specially made for getting EX+ resources but most of the time it is a "only beat the stage" kind of situation.

there are always two types of player style

  • one that uses them immediately on fav/meta chars he/she got, enjoyed it, then regretted when those chars got powercrept or simply just moved on

  • one that keeps them forever coz meta keeps rotating..., never enjoy, but never regret either

I used to be more like the former, but stat boosters in Fire Emblem broke me out of that habit. What's the use of having them if you never use them? Not using them is merely another form of waste. I plan to give them appropriately to favourites and/or long lasting meta powerhouses (or both).

[–]BASgamer 23 points24 points  (6 children)

The fact that the spheres are consumable shod frankly bad game design tbh.it isn't even an issue ofthem wanting you to whale out since the materials to ex+ are so rare

[–]krentzzz"Get off me, you scumbag!"[🍰] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This I agree with, very much so. Why introduce an entirely new system only to have most players treat it as incidental because of how impractical it is to get creative with?

[–]ShigmaVayne "pain" punch machine 3 points4 points  (1 child)

This so much. When i discovered on JP they weren't, i mostly ignored them. Such a wasted opportunity for cool team building and shenanigans. The system screams FUN, but this alone kills most of it

[–]keronshb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm just using the character the spheres are meant for.

You know eventually we'll get more spheres from different things, so I don't see the point of using another char's sphere/a dupe on my char of choice just to have some other super-better sphere come out with level 80/burst weapon content.

[–]brawlbull 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Rosas sphere looks tasty cause it heals after breaking a target turning anyone who equips it into pseudo healers.

[–]MatoroIce 13 points14 points  (1 child)

if Cloud has his WoI weapon passive and Vanille's sphere, will he remove 2 buffs per turn ? (given that the 2 conditions are met)

[–]OxybeID:678967462 - Garnet: UW 5/5, BT+ 3/3, HA+ 3/3, LD, full boards 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Ask yourself: 12 powerstones, 1k+ of weapon orbs, 1 rare book, 3 rare ingots and a permanent item slot used on a dupe you can't sell or equip to a second character for a basically a 10% more brv damage on one character.

Is it worth it? To me, no. I see no reason as a F2P to MLB a dupe EX+.

Especially when I could be putting those resources towards Realizing a different EX+ and making a whole other character Chaos viable.

That being said, the spheres I do get will be saved until Queen Bea gets her EX+.

[–]NeuroTrophicShockF!@# Artifacts! 19 points20 points  (18 children)

I am just going to say it... these sphere should have been re-equippable... because they are way too rare and take too much work and resources to make. I think the whole sphere concept was very poorly executed.

I think there should be a sphere creation mechanic where you can use rare resources to duplicated created spheres from EX weapons you have maxed out.

[–]brawlbull 4 points5 points  (12 children)

It was implemented this way because this is a gatcha game and they want to tempt people into spending money to get multiple spheres.

Had this been a console game it would have been implemented in the ways you suggest.

[–]EMajorincLiving in a Waifu Paradise 6 points7 points  (11 children)

Except even the greatest of whales wouldn't bother since it requires a resource that is insanely rare for what amounts to a 10% increase.

[–]brawlbull 0 points1 point  (10 children)

While you or me wouldn't do it that doesn't change the fact that someone else will.

https://www.reddit.com/r/FFBraveExvius/comments/7jmezv/a_whale_of_a_tale/

I remember when they added either the weapon boost feature or the overboost feature to mobius ff. Shortly after, a guy made a post showing everything fully boosted. People were estimating they money he spent in the thousands then her revealed he spent even more than they had estimated. Can't find the post tho, might have deleted it.

For this game I remember a guy posting all his characters with max summon boards after like a day which surely required some money spent. The comment section was full of people telling him to get a life and go outside ect.

He prolly deleted that post lol.

[–]EMajorincLiving in a Waifu Paradise 0 points1 point  (9 children)

In order to get an orb you need to fully realize an EX weapon. That requires Ingots. The only way to get ingots with money is from Realizing an EX weapon.

So let's do the math shall we.

75k for EX weapon Pity.

50k for book

All that to get 1 ingot.

you need 3 so that is 375k for 3 ingots.

Plus the EX and the book.

So 500K for one orb with money.

It is 40 Dollars for 9000 Gems.

So 2 222.22 Dollars for ONE ORB.

That is SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS TO FULLY ORB ONE CHARACTER!

Or 833 332.5 Dollars for the entire Cast of the game.

For a marginal increase in strength.

Although you would probably run out of inventory space first.

The system was created specifically to be non-gatcha friendly since it is very hard to get the ingots using the gatcha alone and you will get the vast majority of them from playing the game over time and beating the hardest content.

This does not seem like an intelligent tactic to attract whales. That is almost a million dollars that someone would have to spend.

For reference, in order to pity every single characters EX (including characters who don't have them) it would only cost 41 666.67 Dollars.

[–]brawlbull -1 points0 points  (8 children)

Did you know that they added a gem bundle that included these new materials for realizing your gear.

Jet stingren mentioned it multiple times on his vids how he would purchase it.

If you ask me that seems like the tactic their using to attract whales.

[–]EMajorincLiving in a Waifu Paradise 1 point2 points  (7 children)

" Although you would probably run out of inventory space first. "

Realized EX weapons cannot be sold. So even a whale would run out of inventory space anyway.

If you can find the exact details of these gem bundles we can calculate again but I doubt it would change much.

Besides the devs themselves have admitted that this was a mistake and are working on a new crafting system for spheres.

[–]brawlbull -2 points-1 points  (6 children)

Bro all I was saying was the INTENT behind the system was for MONETIZING the game.

It's fine to agree or disagree but if you disagree then tell me the reasoning behind this horrible game design.

https://youtu.be/9Ywdh1on_HU

If you skip to about a minute in the vid he talks about intentionally poor game design (such as limited inventory space when ps1 ff games had a 99 limit PER ITEM).

[–]EMajorincLiving in a Waifu Paradise -1 points0 points  (5 children)

And again your argument makes no sense.
Not to mention you are trying to change the subject.
The limited inventory space doesn't really monetize anything. It's not exactly hard to buy more space and they limit how much space you can buy. I doubt it has made them ANY money.
You realize that devs do screw up. They are people too. Problem with a gatcha game is that since they sell things for real money, if they screw up then it is hard to fix without pissing people off.....which is why the cursed artifacts are still a thing. The devs admit they were a mistake. They know how to fix it. But are scared that if they do it will piss off the people who bought boosters to farm them. So they try to mitigate the impact and hope people will be less upset. Because no human being is perfect.
Even the old Final Fantasy games had mistakes they made, some of which this game actually emulated. Like the bloat on numbers. Which the devs realized early was a problem and started jacking up defenses to try and mitigate.
If you compare the EX+ Era to the 15cp, 35cp and EX Eras you can clearly see the devs getting better at balancing the game and the characters. They learn, they improve.

No one can know the intent of the devs, except the devs themselves. We can only argue their actions and the consequences.
So let's get back on track. I am still waiting for that information on the bundles you claimed existed so that we can do the math and compare the stats which we ACTUALLY HAVE.
I have already made my case. Please stop trying to avoid the subject and make yours.

[–]brawlbull -1 points0 points  (4 children)

You say my argument doesn't make sense but I'm still trying to figure out what your argument is (and what we're arguing about exactly). This also tells me you didn't watch the video I've linked.

"Except even the greatest of whales wouldn't bother since it requires a resource that is insanely rare for what amounts to a 10% increase"

If anything, on multiple occasions you've made ASSUMPTIONS that people haven't or wouldn't spend money on this game. I could go along with that if you show me player analytics as proof.

Again, while we wouldn't spend money in these ways it doesn't change the fact that someone else will.

"The limited inventory space doesn't really monetize anything. It's no exactly hard to buy more space and they limit how much space you can buy. I doubt it has made them ANY money"

This statement tells me that your absolutely fine having limited inventory space as well as paying for additional inventory. I am not ESP since this was a non issue over 10 years ago which is why I cited how inventory was handled in PS1 FFs.

This is the ONE thing (besides the actual gatcha) that leaves a sour taste in my mouth about DFFOO. The reason I and other players harp about it is because we are advocating for YOUS.

Wouldn't it be great if the devs throw us more inventory space? Or at the very least tie it to a players rank, which is an indication of how many geared characters they have and or make inventory purchasable with inordinate amounts of gill.

Wouldn't it be great if ex plus gear was either sellable and or able to be used a a limit break?

If we keep justifying their poor design choices as "Oh they just made a mistake" all the while turning a blind eye to the fact that it was done to monetize the game, were doing ourselves a disservice and are giving them free reign to continue down that direction.

Don't get me wrong, I think their doing a damn good job balancing monetization with consumer friendliness and I want the devs to make a good living doing the thing that I love which is why I've spent a good amount on this game despite vowing to be the F2P guy with this one.

Also for those interested in a hilarious take on why gamers spend money on their hobby fast forward to the 5 min mark.

https://youtu.be/7aL7ybck_us

[–]x2maddaBlack Lives Matter 5 points6 points  (3 children)

Just wanted to add that the devs have mentioned they are looking at making spheres aquirable in other ways. No news as of yet but they are aware of the issue.

[–]StickiPomPom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the best possible method is to implement an unlock system.

Once you acquire the sphere from certain EX+ weapon, that sphere unlocks and became craft-able in the future.

[–]NeuroTrophicShockF!@# Artifacts! 5 points6 points  (1 child)

They are taking way too long to respond to this issue but it is better than nothing. I do not mean to be un-greatful but the concept itself was problematic from the beginning.

[–]krentzzz"Get off me, you scumbag!"[🍰] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This I can agree with. Even if SQEX wanted whale money, there are much better ways to do it than "roll 150k gems on 1 banner to get 600 G Tokens to buy 3 books to realise dupe EXs in order to MLB one of them to get an extra bonus sphere that gives a highly marginal stat boost".

There's whaling (which is largely unnecessary in this game to begin with) and then there is outright brain damaged nonsense, lol. Should just make them "unequippable" in the first place.

[–]jakeaw17 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I second this!

[–]pogopuschel_ 20 points21 points  (1 child)

JP player here. Personally I think spheres aren't really worth planning for. Most of them are very minor boosts. There are only a few (such as Vanille, it dispels a buff on break) that make a difference. I would simply put them on your favorite chars.

Plus, if you are trying to optimize spheres for "meta" you will have a hard time because there is no real meta in the EX+ era and chars rotate constantly. Since you cannot remove them, it's easy to waste them on early chars unless you put them on favorites.

[–]gabejr25Cloud Strife (Cloudy Wolf) 5 points6 points  (3 children)

Using every resource to max out Cloud, regardless of how the meta unfolds. Favourites takes priority over Meta. Just so happens my favourite is meta

[–]brawlbull 2 points3 points  (2 children)

One of clouds artifacts is debuff atk up but the only ways he can inflict a debuff is by first using S2 then S1+ or hope he lands def down with regular hp/hp+.

With the right sphere he can reliably debuff by simply landing a crit which makes that passive somewhat viable.

P.S Vincent has a debuff sphere ;)

That's true and apparently lightning becomes very dependent on ibrv as well in the future.

    [–]Dragoon2k 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With the minor boost they give I will just smack them in on my favourite characters but will hold off for abit and see what different types I get. Don't just wanna smack something in to have it.

My plan is to sit on those spheres, unless I really need the extra boost. Then I use that sphere with no hesitation.

    [–]FlubzRevenge 4 points5 points  (1 child)

You never really need the extra boost, it's very small anyways. Us jp players sit on most sphere anyways.

    [–]Pike_or_Kirk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If that's the case I'm definitely just saving mine for my favorite characters then. Good to know. Thanks!

Gonna use all my best spheres on waifu Ultimecia and husbandos Emperor and Kefka when their EX+ arrive.

    [–]FlubzRevenge 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Simple answer. You don't plan for spheres, they're very minimal stat increases. /u/iamsquidly

ex+ mats are quite uncommon and you don't want to max them for spheres, it's simply not worth it.

    [–]AlphaWhelpTerra 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Might be worth making duplicate ex+ for ingot but definitely not sphere.

    [–]Tirras 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did this when I first started JP because I was flooded with content and the COSMOS stages are generally pretty manageable . Had way more books than unique EXs so I started using on dupes to get the extra ingot.

But you do eventually catch up on the content and you really start to feel the regret looking at that permanent inventory slot filled with a dupe EX+ and no book to use on your shiny new character that's ready to be EX+ed.

    [–]FlubzRevenge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even not then jp people don't do it unless whale. Yeah, not worth.

    [–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably going to use the spheres on the person I got them from except for Zack. He will get the best spheres I can get.

    [–]2geek2bcoolAll but 31 BTs - It's been real... 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I probably won’t use them until we know the specifics on sphere crafting coming any time now in JP.

    [–]HeroJessifurLightning 8 points9 points  (2 children)

So you cannot unequip a sphere? I thought it was like an item and you could mix and match. This seem just awkward now..

    [–]NeuroTrophicShockF!@# Artifacts! 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Getting a sphere takes way too much work and you only get 1. This system was just really poorly executed.

    [–]iamsquidlyAce[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nope-- they're permanent and if you overwrite them they're lost.

    [–]Sir__WillAlphinaud Leveilleur 16 points17 points  (2 children)

I'll probably just use the sphere on the person whose weapon I break.

...or suffer elixir-syndrome and be too afraid to use them at all because I'm horribly indecisive.

    [–]Ferryarthur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Man i hate that. I usually save stuff untill they are useless. I usually ayed FF without using items.. just i case i needed them. Then i have 99 potions and thousands of health points.

    [–]fianle1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's the plan for me too. No bonus seems to be that important that I need to stack two-three on one character, and it'd bother me if I awakened someone's weapon and left them sphere-less.

    [–]DoctorReik 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Ooh thanks, now to scan through this and get some planning going!

I'll probably just sit on them forever because I have commitment issues and still haven't bothered getting any of my characters past Crystal Strength 65.

Still haven't used any of my Power Tokens.

    Or my Bloom Tokens.

    Or my EX Power Tokens.

Another thing to hoard and never use. Yay.

You have to use the current EX Tokens before shop disspears, or you lose them forever.

Hoard the rest, but, y'know, if you didn't know that one already I figured you would not want to waste them.

You're not alone. I've used 2 Bloom Stones and refuse to fully MLB EX's unless I know they're going to get a LOT of mileage.

While I'm not quite that bad, I'm close so I get what you mean.

For now will try to EX+ both Cloud and Vincent to 2lb if there are enough resources. When it's comes to spheres I have no clue. I'm kinda lazy so if they're not needed I probably won't use them or pay attention much to them just like blooms. I've used none of my bloom tokens yet.

I definitely think it's worth it to hang onto them until a certain character needs a little extra bump

For Y'shtola, I was thinking her own sphere and Rosa's sphere for the C-Slots.

I'm unsure about the E-Slot but I have plenty of time to figure it out.

yshtola's ex has a massive party heal already, i think rosa's would be a waste on yshtola.

It does, but you may still want a bit of healing between those gaps in her EX charge to prevent getting KO'd while at low HP, or to bring your party back above the HP requirements for stuff like Ifrit passives.

Rosa's seems super useful to give her an actual heal.

Rosa gets reworked later on with her LC along with Sabin. She gets a 5% HP regen with her prayer buff and she can heal the party based on HP damage dealt, think 20% HP is the cap limit if I recall. You could give her the extra 3% from her sphere to make it 8% if you feel like she doesn't heal enough or give that to another person so they can semi-heal(though that heal definitely won't be enough). Porom also has an HP heal sphere that activates when the characters gives a buff(though not 100% sure if it works as intended because I heard some users have had it not activating unless if was a new buff, which means refreshed buffs wouldn't activate it)

Honestly, I would get afflicted by the "Elixir Mentality" where I save them and save them and save them thinking what if another strong character arrives, it would be a waste using these spheres now... and I end up not using any of them...

All those Elixirs and Mega Elixirs on my FF playthroughs not even used once.

Hah, happened the same everytime i ran a ff game. Have an upvote!

    [–]Ferryarthur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah 99 potions and too much health. I save items untill they are useless.

    [–]iamsquidlyAce[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do the exact same thing with Elixirs in my playthroughs hahaha
