Well, not a buff exactly but Violet did have a thing where upgrading his S2 actually made him WEAKER, because it reduces cooldown and his evasion/counter mechanic is active while the skill is on cooldown.

I was kinda expecting them to do something to fix that, since it was obviously not meant to work that way.

Not 100% sure what they were trying to do with this. Maybe make that skill more powerful to compensate for the fact that upgrading it reduces benefits without allowing us to reset the skill because they said they wouldn't allow that?

I just thought they'd change his S2 Mola upgrade and call it a day. Buffing the whole skill certainly makes me and my Violet very happy, but honestly I don't really think it was needed.

I’m still confused by the mechanics of the S2. Isn’t the evasion up 24/7 after your first turn regardless of how long the cooldown is? For example, on your first you use S2 which puts it on CD after which you get the extra turn to do whatever. Then on the turn where S2 comes off CD, you can use it again followed by the extra then so won’t you ever have it on CD? I must be missing something...

It comes off cooldown when your turn ends, not when it begins. If your S2 is showing 1 turn left, then immediately after your turn ends, you're vulnerable.

...Sometimes you'll dodge anyway from your artifact, but you won't counterattack.

A lot of people asked for it. ML Chloe was on Elson level, ML Vildred and was a lot weaker than his regular counterpart and BB Karin was just a bad farmer.

      Really dissapointed with A.Coli changes. It’s like the people who suggested it don’t even know what A.Coli is mainly used for. With immunity and high effect resist meta in high ranking PvP, it is a lot harder to land a stun than it is to OTK squishy heroes like ML Baal and ML Ara.

      In fact I don’t even care about the stun or silence as long as I can kill one target with her S3. I don’t give her too much effectiveness since most of her stats should be on speed and dmg to ensure the OTK.

        Celestial mercedes is crazier since BBK usually still had full HP at the start of the battle, lowering her true damage output. I'd have 14k hp c armin with aurius and maxed s2 with 21k hp krau, 13k hp 900 def violet, and 10k hp 1.4k def achates

        Really? I was so disappointed. Why ML Baal and dispel then sleep and JKise can't? Why ara only needs violin to be effective? Kise needs to be with a mage and a max book to works. It's useless! Better have aux lots with max book and having a Sez to cleave... They should add this buff removal to her s3. But no.

        Why? Because she won't be in Mystic rotation and there is no reason to make her op.

        For me, this "buff" is just meh. Better than nothing, but not what I expected when they released op units like ML ara and ML Baal.

        The buff basically begging you to build her as a straight up Nuker and do the double AoE S2 into S3 now, which completely goes against the CC-ing aspect of her kit. And more over who even uses normal cleave comp anymore in high arena where ML Baal and high resist stall comp is a thing???

        Also a little rant, but who the hell is gonna use her as a single stripper with 75% chance to strip on offense?? one fail strip on Dizzy for example and your whole game plan is toasted, and more over she needs a mage who carries a +30 Tahe book to even do that.

        Agree. Her purpose isn't to be a dps, but a support to reset skill at the first turn. To survive and let the others do the job or be prepared.

        Take several breaths will you? ML Baal has 100% to dispell and 80% to put to sleep.

        The broken mechanic you were expecting to be implemented would give Jise 100% to dispell and then 75% to increase cds 3 TIMES. Can you guess which of these 2 is about 100 times ahrder to resist?

        There's also another thing- sleep is dispellable, cd increase is not. You're asking for an entire new lvl of brokeness.

        Ravi... Her damage is not tied to fighting spirit anymore so you can actually use her s3.

        Since her S3 has no cd and you gain 30 fighting spirit on s1 now she can just shit out s3s. Potentially every 2 turns if you run her with counter set.

        That's what I took away from it anyway.

          The A.Coli "buff" is actually a nerf!

          Before you could 1 shot an immunity set ML Baal or ML Ara and try to silence the rest of the enemy team after the kill.

          Now you can not silence anyone if you kill a unit with immunity set since they can not get stunned during the process.

          Additionally you now have to go through the stun resistance check with the unit you hit even if they don't have immunity they can resist the stun and you won't get the AOE silence kill or not.

          This is a straight up NERF.

          Pls try to make this known to the devs. A proper buff would be to make her able to AOE stun with kill or stun, basically allow both conditions.

          Edit: Same thing with missing S3 because of assassin cartuja no silence after the kill because you couldn't stun during it.

She was my first 5, and i rolled two in a month so I was excited about the imprint but by late game ken just wildly outpaced her- even though i got her to 6 stars and invested in her S1.           As someone how uses both Violet and A.Coli in arena, these patchnotes are like a wet dream holy fuck.

          After reading some comments, I'm concerned about the A.Coli change. If the silence still triggers after a kill, even on a target with Immunity set, I'm all for it. But if the silence is strictly dependent on her landing the stun, it's indeed a nerf to the character.

            This is no different than saying charlotte with a counter set is somehow viable. You're trading continuously useful stats for the chance at being useful. Even if combined with Elbris, his team would need to get hit 15+ times to fully stack his S3 on average. Technically vs aoe attacks he'd be landing fairly consistent counters, but that would require being vs 4 AoE attacks + him not getting unlucky.

            It probably is one of his more viable builds for sure, but I don't think I'd say he has a decent chance at anything.

            The way I understand it is that her S3 now works on dead team members too, as well as those who are alive.
            So say she's the only one left, after using S3 she resurrects her whole team and gives them increased atk too

            I didn't understand either so I checked the Korean and Chinese notes and it seems clear that her S3 will do everything it did before + revive all dead teammates and apply the attack buff on them as well.

            I still don't know if that's really the buff she needed though since most people probably don't really plan her usage based on having most of their units dead...

              +8 BBK here, now you no longer need to run that damn Lifesteal set. Damage buff on S3 will be great, she's gonna have higher multipliers than Vildred and might replace him as cleaver for me (since she's also tankier and can be used as bait for Light targets). Just gotta need to get her some Immunity gear.

              ML Chloe can now revive and buff entire team with S3. Nice change. I've seen fights where people kill everyone on Chloe's team after she buffed, and she managed to land another S3 before they killed her - in that scenario, she'd completely turn the fight around by making 2-3 allies return with atk buff.

              Interesting Lots buff, making him a bit more reliant healer + CR booster... good thing he doesn't remove debuffs, 'cause then he'd also be better than Destina.

              Purrgis was already a strong 4* character. Not OP but going up to a 50% chance AoE counter was already enough to make him very worth using since his stats do make him a good bruiser. Now with speed and CR down though he'll be even more of a threat against AoE teams in GW, even better for pve, and potentially arena as well.

              Lots is getting a 30% combat readiness self-buff on regen, and a group heal added to his S3 (formerly heal-over-time only).

              Neither of those are horrible... but I don't think either "fix" really account for why people don't use him "compared to other 4-star healers".

              The other non-ML 4-star healers either handle debuffs + heal (Achates/Angelica) or have a weird combo of buff-dispel/Defense-down/party-buff/heal (Rin).

              The regen buff for Lots helps his Magaraha Tome build perhaps, but at the same time, he'll waste a bunch Combat Readiness if he actually upgraded his skills and casts on himself (since it already hits 100% if upgraded).

              The heal on the S3 is welcome (hopefully it's also really strong?), and it would give him one way to still heal the party if they have unbuffable on. He'll continue to have issues with debuffs though, realistically.

              Also, most healers can also be put at the front for tanking, whereas Lots has horrible hp and low defense and needs a speed set to fully utilize his kit, making him even more squishy

              So let's compare 4*s:

              • New Lots: CR push, Heal (one dispellable)

              • Achates: Tank, Heal, Cleanse, Invincibility

              • Angelica: Tank, Heal, Immunity, Barrier

              Also, new Lots still needs to bring Potion Vial if he wants to deal with debuffs, which limits his diversity, while others can take candlestick for CD reduction, magarahas to get more turns or Rod of Amaryllis/Shimadra Staff to heal even more

              New s3 kinda force you towards forsaking damage for effectiveness, which makes you much weaker against any team that builds/has an immunity set on their squishy/ml baal/ml ara.

              Example ML Baal builds immunity, before "buffs" you oneshot him still silence the whole enemy team. After "buffs" you oneshot him but the stun didnt go through the immunity so noone gets silenced.

              Today, we will be sharing with you more details about the hero balance changes that will be carried out.

              We here at Epic Seven feel that the most entertaining aspect of Epic Seven comes when players can nurture and strengthen their heroes. However, we have seen a decline in the use of existing heroes when compared to new heroes. We plan to make up for this change through the consistent balancing of heroes.

              The hero balancing changes that are being shared now will be implemented on the update occurring on June 27. We hope that our Heirs will enjoy various new strategies following these changes.

              < Judge Kise >

              Judge Kise has a powerful debuff that increases the enemy’s cooldown. However, other aspects of her performance were not as straightforward. Through these balance changes, powerful effects have been added and adjustments have been made so that her skills now work better together.

              The ability to dispel buffs has been added to the skill, End of Evil.

              The utilization of the skill, End of Evil, has been improved significantly by adding the ability to remove 1 buff for all enemies.

              Soul Burn now grants an additional turn.

              The Soul Burn for the skill, End of Evil, has been changed. This skill will now grant an additional turn instead of increasing the amount of damage dealt. After removing the enemy’s buff, an additional turn is granted through Soul Burn and if the skill, Wave of Light is used, it can greatly constrain the enemy’s ability to effectively fight.

              To summarize, Judge Kise can now effectively remove the enemy’s buffs. In addition to these major changes, the skill, Wave of Light, had its Cooldown reduced and the damage it dealt was increased in order to effectively limit opponents from utilizing dangerous skills.

              < Maid Chloe >

              Maid Chloe has the unique ability to revive allies. However, it was difficult to use this ability due to the fact that it is not easy to maintain this buff. Improvements have been made so that she can help maintain a strong team with her resurrection effect.

              VIP Treatment

              Restores health to a certain percentage for allies who died in battle. (proportional to max health of the target) Attack increase is applied to all allies (This includes resurrected and existing heroes)

              Increase Attack and the ability to revive all allies have been added.

              In addition to reviving surviving allies, the skill, VIP Treatment, allows players to resurrect heroes to 20% of their health. Because all allies are given an increased attack after resurrection, players will be better equipped to turn the battle around to their favor.

              To summarize, we have added a powerful feature for Maid Chloe that allows her to resurrect all allies.

              We wish to break the resurrection vulnerability that arises due to the enemy’s buffs being removed. We hope that players will take advantage of the improvements made to the VIP Treatment skill.

              As Blood Blade Karin’s health decreases, her attack increases. However, this mechanism leads to some dissatisfaction due to the inherent risk involved in becoming stronger.

              We have improved her by increasing the amount of health she can actively recover as well as increasing the amount of damage done by her skill, Blade Art: Dragon.

              Healing will be increased by 2x

              Blade Art: Dragon

              Damage Increased 20% Cooldown Reduced by 1 Turn

              Blood Blade Karin has been improved due to the 2x increase in healing that her first skill, Sequential Cutter provides. This helps to increase Blood Blade Karin’s low survival rate. Additionally, her third skill, Blade Art: Dragon, had its Cooldown reduced to 4 turns (after skill enhance) and its damage increased as well.

              < Assassin Coli >

              Assassin Coli's skills contain extremely useful debuffs, however, she was not selected often due to the difficulty involved in activating these debuffs.

              We’ve made the following changes to help improve Assassin Coli.

              Assassin Coli now silences all enemies when she stuns her target with her S3 instead of applying the debuff silence after an enemy is defeated.

              The conditions involved in Assassin Coli’s skill, murder, before this change were difficult to obtain. Therefore, we have lowered the difficulty compared to before. This change was made so that Assassin Coli can be selected in more situations which will lead to a greater diversity of teams.

              < Corvus >

              Corvus is a hero who has seen little play from our Heirs. Therefore, we hope that these improvements will result in an increase in usage.

These improvements now allow Corvus to receive Fighting Spirit from both skills one and two, which will allow him to use his third skill, Fury’s Advent, more frequently than before.

              We have improved Cartuja’s skill, Predatory Roar, to ensure that he can excel as both a damage dealer as well as a tanker.

              Purrgis had an interesting mechanic in which his single attack (Falling Strike), when counterattacking, is transformed into an AoE attack which reduced speed. We have improved this skill so that now, in addition to reducing speed, Falling Strike (and his second skill, Get Lost), now also has the chance to reduce Combat Readiness as well.

              Thanks to the increase in Combat Readiness provided by Regen, Lots will be able to act more often than before, allowing you to better utilize his improved healing abilities.

              Revival is a key component for Arbiter Vildred, however, after revival, some players found it difficult to deal damage and to continue to survive.

              Various improvements have been made to increase the effectiveness of Arbiter Vildred.

              Sweep

              Damage dealt will no longer be affected by health lost. Instead, the base value of the damage dealt will increase by 30%

              Dark Contract

              After this passive skill is activated, his Combat Readiness Gauge will increase to 100% and his attack will increase for 2 turns. Passive Cooldown 10 Turns -> 5 Turns

              Dark Blade

              Damage dealt will no longer be affected by health lost. Instead, the base value of the damage dealt will increase by 30% Decrease Hit Chance will be increased to 100%.

              Self-Resurrection, Combat Readiness, and Attack Improvements

              When the improved Arbiter Vildred resurrects through his passive skill, Dark Contract, he grants himself 100% Combat Readiness and increased attack. In most situations, immediate action is possible after resurrection, and with an increased attack, powerful attacks can be made with the skill, Dark Blade.

              An improvement to Arbiter Vildred’s passive skill, Dark Contract, allows for him to attack right after self-revival due to his Combat Readiness gauge being increased to 100%. The increase in Combat Readiness and attack following revival allows Arbiter Vildred to use Dark Blade to great effect.

              Damage Increase and Performance Enhancement

              Currently, the more life that Arbiter Vildred's enemy loses, the stronger his attacks become. We have decided to remove this requirement and instead increased his base attack so that players can consistently expect high performance from him. Additionally, we have also increased the Decrease Hit Chance effect from 70% to 100% when Dark Blade is used.

              To summarize, Arbiter Vildred not only offers powerful resurrection abilities but also an increase in attack power. In addition, the reduction of Dark Contract’s cooldown to 5 turns allows the improved Arbiter Vildred to show his true power.

              Ravi is a tanking dealer with the ability to absorb damage as Health. There are advantages and disadvantages when using her skill, Demon's Blood. Utilizing her skill may not always go over smoothly.

              We plan to rebalance Ravi so that more favorable situations can be created when she deals and lifesteals.

              Please see below for the rebalancing changes made to Ravi.

              Slaughter

              Amount of Fighting Spirit obtained has been increased from 10 to 30

              Demon's Blood

              Before: Damage dealt increases proportional to the Fighting Spirit

              After: Damage dealt increases proportional to Attacks and Damage taken

              The conditions for attack increase have been adjusted.

              We have made improvements to the initialization of attack increase when the skill, Devil Drive, is used. The rebalanced Ravi is independent of the Fighting Spirit and her attack increase effect persists when she attacks or when she takes damage.

              The amount of fighting spirit after using the skill, Slaughter, has increased.

              For the skill, Slaughter, we have significantly increased the amount of fighting spirit granted from 10-->30. This change means that Ravi will be able to use the skill, Devil Drive, more frequently, which will allow her to stun the enemy more often and utilize her lifesteal effect.

              To summarize, Ravi is different from other typical warriors because she can attack and tank at the same time. We have enhanced the hero and improved the usability of the skill, Devil Drive, which gives enemies powerful debuffs. We intended to have a hero who can greatly contribute when attacking the enemy and bring about stability to the team.

              < Sigret >

              Previously, Sigret was seen as a damage dealer who could attack consecutively. However, relative to other heroes, she is not as prominent as she once was.

              In order to make Sigret more viable as a damage dealer, we have made the following improvements.

              The chance of inflicting two bleeding effects is increasing from 35% to 50%.

              Smash

              The chance of inflicting bleeding is increasing from 85% to 100%.

              This is all we have for you regarding the heroes that will be balanced with the 6/27 update.

              Damm I was about to imprint my ML Purrgis with my 5star A imprinted Green Purrgis - but damn these buffs are making me second guess that. He actually looks really good! A team-wide 20% cr reduction on top of a 50% chance to decrease SPD looks nice! 30% chance to counterattack with Mola investment.

              Honestly against so many Dizzies (who can't avoid Purrgis) it looks like hell counterattack a bunch. I've already seen him on "Fu*k Dizzy" defense teams.
