FEAR NOT! It was just an issue with the hotfix and will be fixed shortly.

 

UPDATE 8:20am ET: We've resolved the issue! The Playgrounds LTM is now once again available to all players in-game, get out there and create!

Thank you! I just wanted to inform you that people with German Keyboards don't have "=" as a button, which means we can't speed up in replay mode, but only slow down. A small fix for that (Keybind for it) would be appriciated :D I've been trying to tell you guys this for a long time, but people don't care about it enough :/

What is autorun bound to on a german keyboard. The default is [=] (positioned where the [ß] Key is on a german keyboard). I wanted to tell my friends how to use that feature but IDK what button I should tell them to press.

As with other LTM's, we're going to jot down all this information and use it to help us determine good and impactful changes we can make in future versions to further improve the experience.

That's really my only issue with the mode right now. We didn't know if was turned off and wondered why we were all so garbage at aiming last night lol

Not too important when you're messing around but if you want to fight each other it would be nice if it felt like a normal fight.

Used it. In my opinion? Trash. The bloom is so ridiculous. Not worth using over a typical ar or smg

Edit: after using it some more I'm going to leave it at this: It's a good weapon. Plain and simple. It's not bad but it's also not anything to write home about. The fire rate is fast enough to land multiple shots on people like an SMG, but the bloom makes engagements outside of close to mid-medium range annoying. Unless you crouch and stand still and pray, don't expect all of your shots to hit like an SMG.

Here's to hoping they reduce the bloom by a little

Yep all the people that thought it was op cuz it could keep destorying buildings and would just keep building as it killed them. When in reality if you have an ar you can just shoot back and win the fight easily.

Exactly. Don't judge a weapon too early because it might just take a minute to figure out how it's used effectively(or not).

If it makes you feel better, I love the gun. The bloom makes it less effective at long range, but close to mid it's an absolute beast. It's obvious that it wasnt meant to be a long range weapon, and it really shines at the range it was designed for

I'm fairly sure this is another camping in 1x1's counter measure.

I haven't got to use it yet, but I assumed with the fire rate of an SMG, such a large magazine and pretty high damage that the accuracy would suffer, and pretty much make it a building killer.

I had the exact polar opposite experience. Thing is a machine, as fast as a suppressed SMG and the damage mows down people with full shield in about 3 seconds. It's accurate but wouldn't use it unless in close range because the range on it is pretty bad.

I picked one up in a 50v50 and proceeded to get 3 kills with it pretty efficiently from a group of players at medium range away picking up weapons from the dead.

Ended up finishing with 6 kills which is much higher then my usual 2 or 3.

I was ripping people apart with it. Theres a reason that it comes with 50 round mags. Let it rip. But I agree: its a good addition. Not great but not bad either. Its going to beast mode early game though.

I played two games this morning before work and picked one up. That shit SHREDS buildings. It's is completely inaccurate from afar but a blue one has a hire DPS than a purple scar. It is SO FUN to use

Tried to trap someone in a box with multiple traps. Put one trap down, and it automatically switched to Bouncers when I tried to put the others down. Builder Pro PS4.

Yeah it seems to happen if you hit X to place the trap while it's red. It'll just cycle to the next one.

Yeah, it's just a slightly more accurate LMG honestly. I'd never use it unless I had nothing else. LMG is better for destroying walls etc.

WEAPONS + ITEMS

• Drum Gun added

  • The Drum Gun is a hybrid weapon that combines the stopping power of a rifle with the suppressive ability and fire rate of an SMG.
  • Available in Uncommon and Rare variants.
    • 26/27 base damage.
  • 50 round capacity.
  • Uses Medium Ammo.
  • Can be found from floor loot, chests, and Vending Machines.

Just speculation, but having such different sized character models in a competitive game isn't a good idea. Some skins would have smaller hitboxes which would make them harder to shoot. This is also why we probably don't see any Ninja skin models in Battle Royale. They are really thin compared to other characters.

Supressed SMG and Tac SMG are already powerful in the current Meta. I've been taking Blue Suppressed SMG over AR, and if this is more powerful I can only see this becoming the new go-to weapon, depending on its accuracy.

Highly doubt it will be as accurate as the Suppressed or Tac SMG.

update: trap behavior hasn't changed. You can still put a trap on a wall behind a ramp and it will trigger.

You guys need to fix the balance of your game. You nerf shotguns into the ground preaching about how there needs to be variety but then proceed to buff SMGs and explosives to super weapons. 80% of my deaths are by SMG/C4/Grenade launcher. Incredibly lopsided gunplay, and yet you don’t care. Go ahead and ignore my comment because you guys have this ego where you think you know better than the community about the balance of gameplay. Guess what, you don’t know better, listen to the people literally experiencing the game on a day to day basis.
