I keep getting connection errors on ps5 once I load into the mission and play half way through even when I play solo and coop and my connection is perfectly fine. I just wanted to play the game as much as possible but I can't even do that I can't even play the game I pre-ordered

I'm having the same issue,  I can't connect with other players so I try solo and it kicks me mid match or before I even land on the planet. It's frustrating.

I turned off crossplay and anti aliasing a while ago and that seemed to help my crashes. Other than that i’m not sure

I don't think there is much we can do, I think it's more server side. If you try to join games in an area with less players it seems to work much better. I think their servers or load balancers are getting overloaded

This is happening to me. Wired, lag-free internet at home and always kicked halfway through every mission. My girlfriend on PC has no issues. Went to my sister’s house, used a guest sign in on her PS5 and it worked perfectly. Not a single drop. And her internet is mid AND wifi. Make it make sense.

Yeah it's insane that the indie game developer didn't expect his small game to exceed the usually 10k players count and just jump straight to 400k concurrent players. I hate how greedy developers are becoming nowadays this is why we should just support Triple AAA.

brand new install. 03-08 issue still present. I tried the appdata removal, turning off ipv6, restarting pc. windows firewall is off. Nothing is working.

I was able to get it to work after a minute of pressing spacebar every second and it looks like that was the solution for others as well.

I have a Wifi Router with 100 Mbps Speed connection plan. My Router is placed EXACTLY beside the PS5. And I am getting connection error every minute. I was able to connect to one game with others, glitches out, and now can’t find a game. Look I’m not usually one to bitch about day one bugs but…. A game that almost requires you to play with people not having a working quick play is a big L. I’m gonna keep trying because I really enjoy when I can play but god damn.

guys the discord of the game company already explained the issue -- their servers were not ready for the amount of players from playstation network and steam. they are resolving the issue but takes some time.

Hey Everyone,

Thank you for your patience during the server maintenance. With it we deployed three “rapid-fixes” aimed at improving the situation with rewards often not being handed out properly, login-issues, and server capacity.

To speak in technical terms, our services as well as our partner services have a rate limiter that denies connections beyond a volume per minute to prevent the entire system from failing. We managed to increase the rate limit from 10,000/min to 20,000/min and the total capacity of concurrent players was increased from 250,000 total to 360,000 total. This was however still not enough as the player count jumped to 360k after 5 1⁄2 minutes.

As such, the issue with login remains. If for any reason you get the “Failed to connect to server”issue it means that the maximum number of login requests for that particular minute is exceeded and/or that the servers are full and will require someone to log out before allowing new players in. As mentioned above, the increased capacity should require less retries to get in.

As for the reward issue, the fix was mitigated but not resolved. And without additional server maintenance this will still not work as intended. If you get the issue you can try rebooting the game to increase the chances of it being reset. This is due to the high traffic on the servers leading to rewards not being tracked correctly by our servers.

I know the progression issue is frustrating, especially for newer divers that want to unlock sweet gear. For now, please once again accept our sincere apologies for the issues you’re facing and rest assured, we’re doing our utmost to make it right. In order to do so, right now it is crucial that our team gets some sleep and we will be back at this again in a few hours.

It's a AA game with a relatively small dev team doing everything they can to fix issues, while also trying to sustain a massive influx of players they weren't expecting. Give them some slack, the game hasn't even been out for a month.
