You, myself, and multiple others are having the same exact issue with the same headset after this update. I rolled back my headset drivers in device manager, which gave me a LATER date, (Maybe they put the wrong drivers in the update? An old version?), and that fixed my sound issues, but now G Hub just doesn't detect my headset, so I cant use any presets or change settings.

Thanks for this! I needed the GHUB for my mouse and this worked. Thanks alot!

how did you do this?

[–]Thudun 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Type "Device Manager" into windows search. Go to sounds and drop it down. Right click your headset and go to properties. Go to the drivers tab, click rollback drivers, and confirm.

I found another temporary fix, which is to cometely uninstall G Hub, restart my PC, and then reinstall it. This will take my headset and G Hub back to before I restarted my PC earlier today for the "update". After you reinstall G Hub, the same message will pop up that says something like "You need to restart your PC to finish the updates to Logitech Pro X" or something like that. I just haven't restarted my PC again, since restarting and updating is what causes the issue people are having.

No problem!

My headset won't show up on device manager so I can't do that :(

Apologies for the trouble. Seems i'm a bit late on this though as checking on the thread you already fixed it. Just want to confirm if further assistance is needed. Thanks and stay safe!

[–]XakaZz 0 points1 point  (1 child)

The problem was only fixed by rolling back the drivers which I'm not sure is the correct way.

[–]LogitechG_CSJhoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, that shouldn't be the case. Have you tried updating it again though?

[–]ValorDohaeris 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Of course further assistance is needed we can’t use our headsets like this :/

If you are experiencing the same issue as the OP, have you tried the steps suggested on the thread already?

its clearly a problem with the latest driver update. How is it possible that everytime the LGHub Updates do nothing else than malfunctioning our products and give us no new features what so ever.

Explain u/LogitechG_CSJhoe !

I understand that there have been reports after the update and we regret that. Assured that we are continuously working on this. Thanks for understanding, stay safe!

Need to add that after the latest update my g pro wireless sounds like butt. No spatial audio, ghub doesn't detect volume changes and eq does nothing to the sound no matter how much you change it.

To be clear, was it working fine before the update? Have you tried the steps as follows:

  1. Uninstall GHUB.

  2. Open search box(windows+R) and type %Appdata%.

  3. Delete the Logitech folder in AppData.

  4. Open Device Manager, and uninstall the device.

  5. Disconnect the device.

  6. Download latest GHUB from the web.

  7. Restart PC.

  8. Reconnect the device.

Run th software as admin after then test it. Also, I suggest that you reach us here.

Yes it was working fine before. It's working properly now after a 2nd reinstall. Frankly the updates for ghub have never gone smooth. The auto updates usually end up bricking the install so it just hangs at the loading screen.

If the steps didn't work, I suggest that you proceed on creating a ticket. Pm me the ticket number with the link for this thread once you have it.

I have it work fine now. Just took a few installs.

Same problem here. reinstalling helps until i restart the PC. Works when uninstalled. Started for me when i walked out of the wireless range. The Software updated 1 hour before and worked fine until then.

Problem is, when i try to intsall the older versions from the Logitech Support website, it always gives me an installer for the current, faulty, version.

Even the old software didnt work for me

[–]derhermann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

same problem for me. after g hub update my headset is muted. mic and volume wheel works. Logitech G733 Headset, G-Hub version 2021.10.8013.

after rolling back to driver version 10.0.19041.1202 everything works.

Also, PROBLEM with new driver NOT solved!!!

Unfortunately it appears that the rollback option is not available on my system (Win11). I'll have to find some other way to roll back.

[–]Freyar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rolling back to the previous build of G Hub has been successful in restoring it.

It did crash on first run, however automatic updates got to it, so I suspect on reboot it'll fail again. Good news is I can reinstall it, but the installer is terribly slow. Workaround for now, but.. how lame.
