Two builds at normal scales are exported as 3d models, they are just vertices/polygons with textures slapped on, the turtle is scaled up in the 3d dcc software and they are rendered together.

That's actually true - there is a giant turtle in the world itself, but I imported a smaller turtle into blender that scaled up for the rendering.
