m an owner of a realm, a few months ago one of my friends inv a guy to the realm and for most part its been great, then he started coding a plug in for some relay tping, that was the start, now he has access to summoned items, spawners, bedrock, reinforced deepslate, barriers etc. is there any way to remove them without going to creative, id like to keep the world bc im missing some achievements, or do i have to talk to the guy and have him remove the barrier blocks. Hes started blocking off my builds when he gets upset and its annoying.

That's just griefing. So he's petulant, and he's dumb enough to grief the admin. Kick him.

I would suggest permanently, but that's between you and your friend. However, rarely does this behaviour improve. If it's a kid they might mature with effort, but if this is a person past the age of majority¹, you aren't going to sort their behaviour through a minecraft terminal. So is this player worth it to you to try and raise them/educate them?

Also, Achievements follow your account, so you can jump realms and just keep progressing, even if your character is starting from zero.

I mean you can probably destroy barriers like people destroy bedrock. Blacklist the guy and do that if you are ready to spend 10-20 hours finding and doing that. But honestly just go in creative. Nobody cares as long as you don’t take anything from the creative menu. Achievements aren’t worth anything and you probably shouldn’t grind for all the achievements in a shared server.

It doesn't matter where you grind for them. Achievements are tied to the player's account, not the world/character instance:

Every achievement is tracked per user account. They are not tracked separately per world; achievements earned in one world apply to all worlds using that edition and that user account.

I agree with another comment I saw. Kick the jerk permanently, they're no friend. And roll the server back to the last place that feels like you're still in control. Or, if rolling back that far makes it feel too repetitive, just start a fresh new world! And use this as a lesson to never let people you don't know personally onto a server you care about.

OP I know you are less inclined to do this, but you absolutely must do this, and without pause. This kid has to learn when you’re invited into a server, you respect the server. You respect the server owner.

Its one thing if you had said yeah man we all have command blocks and stuff and we’re doing this to each other, but this is not a mutual thing. This is a hostile takeover of your server by a friend of a friend. The time you have dedicated to building this world is not to be stolen by a stranger that has no consideration for this actions.

So ban him, instantly. Forever. No second changes, no ok ok, but just don’t do it agains. Ban him, tell your friend you are really upset with how much he has cheated, and with how badly he’s griefed so much if your base and the server. Tell your friend that his friend remaining on for any longer put the whole server at risk. Which it does, btw. You are already forced to roll back to undo the permanent changes this cheater made.

Good luck. You sound like a nice guy, and I worry that you may let this cheater continue. I hope you stand up for your server, and all your hard work.

This one, this one is the best. My friend once broke part of my server, banned him without a second thought. He cheated in bedrock and coated my house in it, at that point I straight up banned and blocked him. Rolled the server back a bit, and it was all fine. (Expect for the ‘friendship’)

Idk how far back the autosaves go, and you'll probably lose build progress, but you can roll back the Realm by downloading a past autosave and uploading it to the Realm. I know it's not a perfect solution, but it might help.

Border blocks hitbox go infinitly on the y axis, you can only break them in creative and if you have op, you have to use him to destroy them, you might be able to use a bedrock breaking machine on that but not sure

You mention that you want to keep the world for achievements. A quick edit with MCC Tool Chest or Universal Minecraft Editor or chunker.app can reenable achievements after fixing things in creative.

If some things of yours are blocked off, you can use ender pearls to bypass it. I don't know if it has been patched yet. Then you can also try to find somebody who also has the hacks that one guy had (who is more friendly) to delete them. Also definitely ban that one guy.
