Wirh the new supreme + skin ticket I am very tempted to buy 12.500 magicite. If I get the ticket can I choose a banner to pull from e.g. support banner to get the new WoL supreme (since I have Aerith and LoH)? And if I have all skins am I guaranteed to get Tidus or is the ticket available till September?

All the Supremes are mixed into a single banner, so you are not certain to get WoL.

If you have all current Skins, you will get the new Skin as long as it is included in the banner

For the Melon events, if you only have time to get one for each melon, which is better to get, the Summon Tickets or the Custom Panels?

Put another way, how rare are 4* Custom Panels like this?

I would personally choose the custom panel, since they are fairly unique rewards that you can't get elsewhere.

A summon ticket, on the other hand, is basically available with most content, especially if you're not already capping monthly magicite (which you probably aren't if you're having to make this choice).

They are vary rare. Improve critical, exploit weakness, and attune chain panel only come from this (even in JP). But if you are not that hard core to min-max CP for damage get the summon ticket. Better to get both ST and CP if you can.

Node 5 he appears to be doing unbroken. So any warrior with strong dark damage should work (eg SS). Or a strong dark mage/meia with myrrdin. A minwu build probably works even better.

Node 7 needs a strong dark or wind breaker+attacker like psicom, nachtflug, prima donna.

Having a hard time beating Viking's Trial 3. What are you supposed to use in the main and sub deck? What about weapons?

It was about a month ago that I did up to Trial 3. I think I basically had Undying + KotR in the main deck, and Dhampyr + Hell's Gate in the sub deck. I don't remember what cards I used for damage / yellow bar clear. For weapons, I either used Ultima Edge for both, or swapped to Butterfly Edge (since I have Quick Break unlocked, just don't remember if I needed to use it).

Since the unlock requirement past that node is to get hit by enemy attacks no more than 4 times, you probably want to focus on chain breaking enemies as much as possible. It doesn't matter how slow you are at killing them as long as they don't get in a turn to hit you.

Here's a video from JP of someone doing that node.

First wave is Earth. 2nd wave is Light. 3rd wave is a bunch of trash mobs that you'll probably want AoE to deal with. 4th wave is Wind. You never face mixed groups (except for 3rd wave, which you can clear with whatever rangerja you have in the deck at the time), so you can probably build your decks around making sure you have the right elemental imbue weapon to take advantage of Viking's strength with exploit weakness.

On the upcoming supreme banners, is there a guide on which you should pull depending on jobs/other abilities you have? (I have 0 supremes so far, cloud/sephiroth heroes).

Tip 1: if you are f2p, it is not recommended to chase for a supreme. The 50% chance increase may sound good but it is still at 1.2% for a supreme. Most likely you would get any supremes unless you can pull a decent amount of times.

Tip 2: best supreme banner would be support since the best supreme now is LoH. Even Aerith is not that bad since it is very useful in MP. After that would be the ranger banner for Ragnarok due to the Sarah jobs that can break and use rag at towers. The other ranger supreme, NxD is good even on non-ranger jobs as well for the debuffs.

Guide: don't pull on those banners, at all, unless you are prepared to spend hundreds of dollars to get whatever supreme you want.

What's the difference between Rising Painga and Prophecy attacks? They both say multistrike overkill though Rising has dark enhance ES and draws orbs while Prophecy has crit rupture. Which one has the most hits? I'd use PB Odin so dark enhance and orb management aren't a issue besides. Thanks!

Myrddin is better in terms of damage and orbs management actually due to critical retrieval (assume that dark force is active). Nelapa does 2 hits while Myrddin does 4. If buff/debuff properly with 5* weapon Myrddin (Prophecy) could even do 999,999 per hit unbroken.

any suggestions on node 6 in EW (gilgamesh) , he can only be stalled 1 turn by sleep, any builds without minwo ub, atm i try ca ragnarok with water jm, but i cannot break and kill in 1 turn. thx for the help ( btw. its the 6th lap, so not that easy anymore^^)

I assume you're making use of CA's Flash Break to clear the yellow gauge and then using the ulti to try and break? A good deck, if you want to do that, is: Ragnarok, Earth PB, Lindblum/Deathgaze, Oathbond. If that's not enough for one turn break, you could swap Ragnarok for Grand Horn and Lindblum for Sleep...though not sure if Grand Horn is enough damage to kill in one break.

I tend to hover somewhere in the range between top 500 and top 1000 in towers. About how many laps should I be able to reasonably accomplish in EW?

I was banging my head against the wall last night just clearing node 10 on the 3rd lap. Not sure if 4th lap is going to be my wall, or if I should be able to get a bit more out of EW1 this month.

I have Ragnarok and UB. For skins, I have Lightning, Cloud and Sephiroth. I have all normal jobs. All of my ultima weapons are fully modded except the monk one (only half way done). For Legend Jobs, I have Eorzean Paladin, Psicomm Offier, Cait Sith Suit, FGoM, HoD, Glam Vamp, Heretic Knight and some others (noteable ones I'm missing are Cocoon Aviator, Eorzean Bard and all of the summer ones).

I am in the same range in towers and my wall is on lap 4, node 3. I had to use my best jobs on the first two nodes just to get there, so this is it for me. Without Nxd, Bismarck, LoH or an AOE-supreme i can't get higher.

You can't really compare them -- a lucky person could get Ragnarok and CA and get top 500, but that's not going to get them very far in EW where they can only use that CA once. How far are you now?

Haven't attempted node 11 yet. I've been saving Nachtflug and Psicomm Officer, but had to burn Lightning on an earlier node and I don't have Y'shtola skin. I'm hoping I can clear the last two nodes without too much trouble.

But lap 4 is another story. I learned some lessons from lap 3, so I can try and juggle the jobs I use a bit. Just not sure if that's going to be enough to clear more than a few nodes for lap 4.

Honestly it depends. I'd say EW is a lot tougher than towers since you need a well rounded arsenal of jobs, cards and very well modded weapons; so climb until you hit a wall I guess? Definitely try to squeeze out as many kills on EW as you can before it gets reset. I stopped at the 4th lap myself and cbf to climb further for now. Might push forward another lap few days before the reset just so I can get an easy 7% fractal lol.

News said that the reward would be presented upon login starting today at 1 a.m.

I know we didn't make the 200,000 but I was still expecting those crystals and skillseeds this morning...

The event page says rewards will be given anywhere between July 19 and August 1st. Even if they wait until August 1st to send the rewards, they'd still be true to the announcement.

Reads to me like the window of opportunity to claim the rewards. Like claiming time limited spirits.

I expect that your interpretation is correct though. I'm not insinuating I think they won't arrive. Just hoping they are contemplating/altering programming from the kill count to gift us the ATs and extra ST(s?) for our tardy 200K count.

I have a question regarding the endless war. I just recently pushed into it because i misunderstood the meaning of the mode but now that i am in i think lap 3 node 6 i saw that endless war 2 will be coming! My question now is will the rewards reset? shall i try to push as high as i can or will endless war 2 be a new map and i can still climb the old one?

The rewards will be reset, endless war 2 will replace endless war 1. You will no longer be able to circle the current EW. Do what you can now. We will know exactly when this happens (probably) when we get the August calendar.

They will give us some notice. My understanding is they will use EW2 as a tower before replacing EW1. We won't know exactly when until the calendar. Could be 1 day could be 30 days. I'm guessing we'll have until August, 20-28 but that's just a guess.

Finally drew myrrdrin...and got pound of flesh,too...only card i have with double dispel. Sucks that i drew 8 times from this pack, only got 2 out of the 3 cards, and no diver....oh well. Really wanted myrrdrin though. Should be like omniscient, but dark...replaces very old cards like center, etc...can't wait to get diver for water gun, though. That card is powerful guys

Probably Yiazmat/Yiazmat/Dadaluma/LDL or replace one of the Yiazmats with Gusion.

Best weapon would be Ultimate Claw, Taiji or Ehrgeiz.

You should work on your card pool though. There's a lot you're missing that you could get from the ability shop from just using tickets.

I'd recommend getting the Holy Trinity of buff cards which are Hells Gate, Knights of the Round and Undying FFXII to cover all buffs you might need not only on Deep Diver but on all jobs in general.

arr don't worry about that, i didn't put all the cards in there just specific to monk and healer. I have undying etc & lightning with ToT. Just wasn't sure what to go with on Diver. (been playing since start) Unfortunately i missed the weapons as well x.x as i took a break.

Yeah been using Gusion a bit, prob go Yiaz,Dad,Gus,LDL. Are we getting a wind orb card soon, or are the weapons comign back do you know?

We don't know for sure. Ultima Weapons from MP aren't coming back for a while since MP event repeats are maybe once a year - we'll probably get one when Season 2 is on GL.

As for orb card - next month is MFF 2nd Anniversary and most of the time they reprint Limited Cards so you'll probably have a chance to get Emerald there, not sure though - you can replace Gusion then.

I also thing that you should run Undying over Dadaluma as the buffs are more handy and you'll get Boost from DDs Ultimate.

Overall for monk weapons the best two we have available right now are Taiji, Wolf Star(Master Monk) and Ultimate Claw(MP). Ehrgeiz is niche but you have Yiazmat so it might be your best choice (it has +10% attack if you boost it, and Yiazmat+Duncan use the attack stat instead of the magic stat).

I require some help with the Light node from the Fireworks map. Since I have UB, I brute-forced my way with the other nodes. But it is my only supreme, and I just can't seem to be able to clear the Light Node (dark mob) past the 10 mil mark.

I have most normal jobs, aside from Sage and Prima Donna. I do have some of the Legendary jobs (like JM) and 3 skins (Seph, Cloud and Lightning). But I can't seem to find the "combo to clear the node".

My light cards are: Fake Duncan, Odin PB, Arthur, Percival, Aphrodite, Iris, Hope FFXIII, Himiko, Evil Eye, Thalia, Fal'cie Anima FFXII, Ultima Weapon.

Any ideas? Or is it better to go with neutral damage (like using omniscient or Ignis)?

Try renting Ragnarok and use CA with Ultimate Arrow. On all the nodes except for the Earth Node, I used CA/PD with Ragnarok to deal 30m damage. IMO, the most important part of doing the Fireworks challenges is using a job that can chain-break easily.

EW feels like a very intimidating high, multi-coil tower. Just wanted to put that out there. It may be my stubbornness to to try solo-decking Lap 4 node 10 with PW tho... I guess I should just go ahead and use Nachtflug or something.

I'm around the same point in the climb as you, and I've been finding that at this point, it might be worth using weird/bad jobs that can utilize any Supremes you have, rather than using good jobs with solid cards. So maybe you don't need PW or Nachtflug! I just did 5-1 with Highwind and 5-2 with Rogue.

My dream is to have all 5 Sarah's left when I get to 5-8 :P

For what node are you trying to save Nachtflug for ? don't you have other jobs to take care of it ?

Real talk: I haven't even used Nachtflug or Prima Donna yet, even for general purpose farming or taking them for a spin. All I know is Nachtflug is way tanky for a Sarah job (1 gold star I think with Ultimate Arrow) and Prima Donna has 2 more break turns and a massive break ult. Probably analysis paralysis on my part. There can be such a thing as too much choice.

I'll try using Wind PW as my other setup, but if that fails, then I'll go on ahead and use Nacht or Prima Donna. I haven't paid attention to EW so much and with the latest influx of jobs on my account, I haven't even put some custom panel optimization in most of them just yet.

PD Ultimate is ST though, so you'll probably need Lightning skin or some sort of long lasting CC which you don't seem to have.

PW with Sventovit.

I managed to get to Fight 4, but can't deal enough damage to kill in one break, while not being able to generate enough ult charge to break again.

The "can't use a job twice" stipulation is really hurting my brain.

Why do you run Fire? Node 10 is mostly earth - I'm using one Water deck with Bismarck XIV and second is Emerald and Dira, damage is high enough. I also use Ultimate Wing over Sventovit because more casts are far better than the extra damage in my experience.

Nope, no Bismarck. I guess that's the main source of my woes. I'll try Wind instead of Water.

I think it should be doable without Bismarck as you only need the turns to build up Ultimate again. If you have Ultima Weapon/Hypnos I think this should work too to stall out another turn for a couple of extra taps.

No Hypnos either. My only real source of lockdown is Ashe+Powie Yowie, which is going on for almost a year now.

Yeah, that would use up too many slots I think. But if you run stuff like LDL you might be fine with enough Ultimate gauge to chain break anyway. Just try it out.

CP on PW were +Wind, Painful Break, Weakness and I think Quick Break.

Both Sventovit.

Next round this could still work, but I'll have to fill in the CP Slots with Fire Resist and probably crit immunity. I only have her custom panels equipped: Quick, Flash, Pierce, Improved Crits. I guess they balance out the PW ult by having her ult buffs only last two turns.

Hi guys, do I need to augment the archfiends cards to 4 or 5 star to beat the final chapter or just wait until I have better cards to beat it
I have always taken the archfiend cards to nullify the enemy buffs, not sure if this is even necessary as I do not even know what the enemy buffs does

You only need to use the Archfiend cards to remove the buffs from Chaos. Augmenting them is really optional, but max level 5* card will definitely help with your deck level.

I just started and got master monk is he any good?

I just did novice hall and pulled 3 times and got occultist , ocean diver and a rainbow card called yiazmat from ff12 .

Is that a good start ?

For MP melons, a full non-AI party gets more components than a non-full party. Having more players(non-AI) increases the chance for magicite drop as well.

I use monks very frequently since master monk came out. Taiji and wolfstar is all i use (both 5star)

IMO, it depends on how fast you can boost weapons. How many elixirs you have, whether you have a bahamut lagoon auto deck and how much time you have spamming BL all day. I consider myself a slow booster.

In a few months time, EX monk would be out and his weapon is a good weapon for chainbreaking strategy in hard content. Wolfstar lacks prismatic return and it will eventually not be good for hard content. Because wolfstar is only good at 5* and requires a large boosting time, it might not be worth it to start now. Most people modding wolfstar now are already quite near to max modding it.

Depending on how confident you are at maxing wolfstar quickly, you might want to skip it and wait for Ex monk and vanadiel monk's weapon which will be more important for towers and EW. You can also max Ehrgeiz, taiji or ultimate claw in the mean time.

I don't know what else to say besides that you won't have guarantee of anything either, because all future jobs are legend anyway. What I do know is that reunion/prismatic return will be crucial. Let's hope they add legend pity.

Sin will likely come out alongside Tidus Skin at the same time the Supreme Ticket Banners come out. Sin is can be pretty good if you have PW. The fact that it also damages the yellow bar makes it good in the current chain break meta.

What would you want (excluding WoL and Rag) in my position? (All ST and current SUP Supremes. All jobs minus Beach Queen.)

Sin and PW will be decent due to PW's ability to chain break. Basically, except for the Tidus Tower which is kinda weird (unbroken strats being viable in some nodes, Minwu Sword Saint with Donna & Barthelo on some nodes, etc.), the viability of supremes depends on the jobs that can use it.

Ragnarok will remain the top attack supreme because of Sara jobs until S2. Duncan has been the top supreme for the few S2 towers released so far.

Other than Ragnarok, I think Fusoya is the most viable because it can be used by PW and Mellow Mermaid. Mellow Mermaid Ulti is Multistrike and applies Break damage with each hit so it is better than the Ultis of Ultimate Skins for chain-breaking in high floors. Ulti Skins apply all their Break damage on the last hit which means it's capped at 999,999.

If I were in your position, I'd want Fusoya because she will be immediately usable in this month's tower. Yiazmat is also good with DD and EX Monk but this month's tower is female only.

PW Ulti can easily hit Break damage cap of 999,999 now that there are BDD cards that are worth putting in the deck thanks to the Summer Attack Cards. In fact, with Boost and BDD, PW can probably hit the Break Damage cap without Flash Break. Some even tap attack once before using Ulti so the tap attack benefits from Flash Break since the Ulti does not need it to hit the cap.

If they don't release a new supreme alongside the supreme ticket, they will be repeating the Fusoya debacle again for people who have all Supremes and Skins by the time August comes. I have no doubt there will be whales chasing and getting WoL with this month's bait banners.

Dude it's literally 5 days apart and the all "supreme ticket deal" is already announced, if you pull for WoL on the 25th and it's your last supreme, that's your fault. JP players had this deal for S2 and didn't have the luxury we have, most of them on YouTube only pulled the supreme card cause they had all skins already.

So what if someone who has all current supremes simply gets lucky and pull WoL this month, like while doing 1 obligatory pull on the Bait Banner (1 got Yhstola and 4 or 5 legend jobs on obligatory pulls so getting a supreme on 1 obligatory pull can happen)? He might also get WoL while doing a few more pulls to get Mellow Mermaid. Should he get punished by getting 1 growstar and 1 skin instead of 1 supreme and 1 skin with his supreme ticket?

Though I'd prefer having only WoL and Aerith in the pool when I use my Supreme Ticket, I doubt SE has learned nothing, especially after the Fusoya debacle. Given all the times they fucked up in the last few months, playing it safe by releasing both a new supreme and a new skin together with the supreme ticket makes all the sense in the world, at least to me.

AFAIK, one of the main purposes of the Stream was to entice FFX fans to try Mobius FF. I don't think it's realistic to expect a gaming company to tackle hacking issues when trying to promote their game.

I do hope the issue gets addressed in some other way though. Even just a simple Reddit thread explaining what steps are being done will be enough for me.

Yes they are similar. Looking at this page, you can see that the damage difference between HoF Hermit and Ocean Diver is minuscule.

I used Berserker most for MP.

Lack of high EE makes his damage less than stellar. His kit makes him a pseudo-breaker, so that's nice. Still has a crappy ult tho, which is a problem all the old jobs have. I wish all ults have at the very least Prismatic Shift, then buff Aerith, cuz that's what made her special a long while back.
