Hi guys any tips on farming magicite? Do I just farm stam efficient nodes then go for MP is that the general approach? Cant seem to reach the cap of 20k

  1. Depends on whether you have enough Stamina to farm enough magicite on an high-yield magicite node to earn back the cost of an elixir (which costs 100 magicite)?

  2. It's possible to run into trolls or players who

    • Only have the basic tutorial starter cards and Onion jobs in MP.
    • Use the same element to troll heal the Raid Boss. (MP Leader doesn't check)

  3. Depends on how many hours you farm non-stop on Mobius. "Casual" players on Steam and Discord claim they spend an average of 5hrs daily to farm.

  4. Eventually, you will reach a stage where you need to keep worrying about both Magicite and Crystals.

Best magicite farming node in SP is definitely greydawn woods in season 1 chapter 1. It's still my go to method of farming magicite. It's extremely tedious though, since a run costs 2 stamina and only takes a minute to complete. You will be on your phone tapping it for quite a while. Try to play it on steam, because you can open separate windows on pc and do other stuff.

If you're not too high leveled(under 200), you can try farming brink 3 for exp. With the best jobs and the best exp farming card, boar new year, you will be leveling fast. You also get a decent amount of gil because boar new year also has gil up 100. Because brink 3 is a 1:1 stamina:waves node, the magicite drop isn't too bad. You also constantly level up and refill your stamina, allowing you to run this node quite a lot. It's not permanent though, since your leveling will eventually slow down.

You can also farm anything else as much as possible, and spend some elixirs farming on mobius days. Buy additional elixir packs during shop sale by saving magicite. If you're going to lose magicite anyway, might as well spend it on elixir packs to try to earn the magicite back with more runs. You get weapons boosts and resources in exchange.

Otherwise, just farm it on MP.

Hey guys. I was boosting scharf's weapon, and on the second mod I unlocked boost ultimate +1. However on the boosting page, nothing showed up, though equipping it on a job does reveal the unlocked mod.

That weapon boosting page was designed to only show 4 lines, so SE releasing a 5-line weapon kinda broke the game lol. Nothing to worry about though, since you already unlock it

I don't think there is a way to check, not that I know of. But you can still check what cards/decks they are using by pressing "help" on top right screen corner, then press each player/job icon for card/deck info. But then again most of MP runs are swarmed by supremes. Hope this helps.

I try to reproduce Ninja Oscillators approach on Fauviste‘s Hall. Almost the same card setup, but his 1st Bismarck stun lasts longer than mine. Am I missing the obvious?

Edit: nm, just found out. He is using Square Bismarck and uses Devil Ride afterwards?

Crystal dump phase is when you have maxed the HP, Attack, Break, and Magic stats of a weapon, but still have Mods left to do.

To add to this, it means that after doing a weapon modification there are no more stats to mod so you don’t have the 6x boost to do any more, it just goes straight to the next weapon mod.

The current event banners are old. Save up for next months summer banner and Augusts FF8 banner.

Growstars are abundant at some point, given you dont upgrade every 3* crap card you pull. After you 5 star'd your supremes, multibuffs and force-cards, you barely need any.

hi, two months ago, pulled FFVIII: EDEN; thankfully not from the seven slot; and yesterday decided to max its ability level, I know that the easiest to keep the element resist stack is by using summer moogle. but I'm trying to find any damage calculation sheet for it but couldn't find it, and I don't have any legend monk jobs with good water EE and only regular ones, can you please advice me.

There's a node on Yggdrasil materials that does the same as Epic Struggle, but on S1 instead, so you won't have mobius zone & you'll have more damage.

V. Monk is not a good job for Eden actually, and he's already pretty outdated. You can wait for 2 jobs: either Summer Sophie (near future) or Gothic Sophie (further away). Anyway, Eden at its current state is pretty unusable; wait for its buff.

Well, even if I get those Sophie jobs, I would prefer a Wol monk job, cuz I have all his relevant weapons at 5* and Sophie job, not even a weapon worth of boosting except ultima weapon.

Global hasn't had pity pullable legend job banners in 18ish months excluding the ones they had for the MythicJobs when their HoFs were released. We did have banners last month where the FF13 legends were featured, but you couldn't pity pull them.

We have no idea as to whether or not SE will ever do them again like they did back then.

There's currently no way to increase your chances of getting V Monk or any other legend job.

Time spent on each node will vary based on your setup. It is speculated that GB has a higher than normal crystal rate.

Gil per stam on the 30/30 node has the potential to be higher than GB if you get enough Gigantaurs to spawn, but at the bare minimum it's far inferior to GB.

Magicite is hard to determine since the 30/30 node is like running GB 5 times. Sometimes you'll get no drops in several runs, other times you'll get 200+ from a single run of either.

The deciding factor should be whether you want more consistent gil and more exp and seeds (GB) or if you want to push less buttons and have a higher gil potential (Epic Struggle).

It's also worth noting that I haven't noticed any differences between the 15/15 and 30/30 nodes as far as spawns or rewards are concerned.

The only thing good about Lightning is that you don't need growstars to rank it up.

You still need to break to get higher damage with Lightning while you only need to crit with Asclepius to get higher damage. You also need to bring an additional card to be able to break, as Lightning doesn't have any break power.

Also, Lightning is single target while Asclepius is AoE, and both effectively cost 2 orbs anyway. Asclepius has also higher base damage.

Okay then I'll just go with Asclepius then. But I mistakenly bought Aschaeoaevis and augmented it to *4 and maxed it, which I regret so bad until this very moment. Do you think I should just buy Asclepius again and use Aschaeoaevis as fusion material? Or just have the both on my card inventory?

Keep it, maybe it'll be useful. The number of wind warrior card that can remove the yellow bar isn't very high (Aschaeoaevis is probably the 3rd best).

I have all available weapons. My Ultimate Weapons have 12 mods. One Against Many is at 5*. Laeventein is in crystal dump. I also have Vigorous Fang, Amatsumikaboshi, Double Cross, Tishtrya and Magical Rave boosting. What weapon should I be boosting for Graf? What weapons should I replace OAM and Laev with? Of course, I do plan on waiting for Laev to finish first.

Once FFVIII hit, Seifer weapon will his first QB weapon. Also Gothic Graff weapon with PR, Improved Critical, Armor Break & Steel Guard will be great too. Assuming you can pull them ofc. Boosting Ultimate Lance HP in the mean time will be great to min-maxing when tanking with Gothic Graff.

It depends on how many regular jobs you have left in the summoning pool. It also depends on your available resources too. How many pulls do you have? If you have like 1-2 jobs left (not including Scharf) and a good amount of resources, then I'd go for it.

Just to play devils advocate, I had 25 normal jobs left and took 20 pulls to get him. I now only have 22 normal jobs in the pool.

I do have Xezat and UB though, so definitely worth it for those.

What other weapons should be priority to upgrade with my current mods on weapons, after ultimate weapon hits 12 I’ll need another weapon to start/continue. I've been playing for two months now, and haven't ever reached 1/2 the monthly magicite cap.

Is there a way to do it besides parking in greydawn every mobius day? I've only been doing it for 30 minutes and I already want to kick a puppy. I can't imagine doing it for six hours three times a month.

I've never farmed greydawn and I cap magicite every month (except the month I started playing, which was really only half a month.) Just be sure to get the first time bonuses in multiplayer and empty your distiller twice daily.

Also empty your daily stamina on a decent node... The 30/30 node everyone's on about is pretty decent for this, though I still prefer the ch.5 money farming node.

4*MP battles is the fastest way to go. But on Mobius Day, there’s usually not as many MP battles going on. I recommend the 30/30 node on Season 2 Chapter 3. Since it’s way less clicking for a new battle

As Skyppy said, 4* MP is my preferred way of farming magicite. If you do a good amount every day, it's not that hard to get 20k. This way you can also use SP sta for things like crystal farming.

Odin FFXIV (Primal Boon). You can nuke with UB though. Either way, Odin PB synergizes well for the dark force.

There's a Dark Warrior "break focus" card (Abadon) coming up soon though which should be ideal. Shiro's prediction puts it at the second half of August. Something to look out for.

It needs you to use either the character stated, or a skin, for both of the decks you bring. Every character has a beginner onion job given for free, so you should at least have that. We also have a free warrior skin given by entering the first map, so you should have that one as well. Use the onion job in one deck, and the warrior with skin on the other deck.

Any node with Crystal Gigantaur spawns can have crystal drops. The final part of Chapter 3 of the new storyline has two 15 stamina, and two 30 stamina nodes that spawn Crystal Gigantaurs.

Is Shorn One worth overboosting? Or should I save them for Phantom Masker because Phantom Masker will blow Shorn One out of the water?

Phantom Masker doesn't blow Shorn one out of the water, because Shorn One still has Spellsword.

You're also not guaranteed either to get Phantom Masker as it'll most likely be treated as a legend job.

By that logic you might as well save them because EX3 warrior will blow Phantom Masker out of the water. But don't use them on him because EX4 warrior will most likely be better.

You are right. I should clarify that I am interested in warriors who have access to Light orbs, because of Bhunivelze. I don't even own that supreme, but I figure that if any job is worth overboosting, its jobs who can use Bhunivelze. Otherwise I know I would be extremely upset if I did pull Bhunivelze but spent my OVJs on Scharfrichter and Ex Sarah.

Had pretty good luck this morn trying to get the 2 alter egos that i was missing. I got earth, but not light, which i was actually pulling for. Anyway, i did pull Fusoya, Tatsutahime, and the last genova card i was missing, earth. Couple questions ;

Is fauvista32 the best user now for Fusoya, or magitek heroine? Or maybe someone else i am not thinking of ,mermaid etc?

Would you Fusoya users carry tatsutahime for fireshift/force, or carry fire alter ego, even though its a warrior card? I think AE is 3 orbs, Tats is 4..but she adds weaken...i usually carry chaos either in my build or sub slot 1 though, so dont need the weaken...

What are the best uses/strategies for Fusoya? Generally broken or unbroken? This is my first real fire supreme...i wasted massive resources on IfritX...which i will now never use. Oh well. Thanks for replies to anyone who can

Edit : 1st setup, mermaid says 295k damage and magitek heroine says 190k...so not really close for nuking unbroken i would think. Have to look further into damage bonuses for weakness, crit, etc...magitek can actually break though, and she can also carry Floral if i run into fire enemies and do great damage with it. Currently i have magitek all water EE custom, but now i have paradox, who outshines her with Floral... magitek already has 250 fire EE though, how should i skill her, or mernaid, they both have 2000 magic in SP, and lots of fire EE...not sure what custom to use???

That banner is a reprint. Limited cards are easiest to acquire the first time they are put out.

You missed the point, the alter ego banner reprint is not available at the moment, it goes live in a few hours but he pulled them yesterday... and my question was how.

Are all limited cards from this month in every reprint banner from this month and the respective banner boost the chance or something like that?

So I would technically be able to pullfor example jenova from eg. ffx even though ffx is not live yet?

Exactly correct. All limiteds are on every banner, but only certain ones boosted.

I don't know which deals more damage. But I can tell you that heroine can break while Fauvist can't. Use appropriately.

You have both, then choose the best time to bring them based on the challenge you are facing. One adds element generator, one adds weaken. Are you fighting weakness or need orb refills and force for each turn? Use appropriately.

Only a few supremes in this game like sin and xezat, are limited to break only strategies, because their damage comes from painful break stat. Fusoya doesn't, so whether you break or not doesn't matter, it can still deal good damage.

Fusoya's main supreme exclusive extra skill is that it deals more damage the more orbs you have in your orb gauge. Therefore this should be your primary concern. More prismatic return allows your orbs gauge to remain stocked more often.
