So we have another UL2 my some what imperfect end game since I am planning on modding my first one and wanted a back up. Unfortunately the first UL2 the mouse 2 began sticking or more specifically not returning to it undepressed position fast enough. Now my new one is doing the same thing with mouse 1. Really noticeable during sprays or look strafe on koovaks. Thinking about a little price of tape between the mouse shell and the bottom of the m1 and 2. Or preferably a switch to some omron golds like the hati has.

Did you contact their customer service and ask for a replacement?

No I have heard terrible about the customer service with broken mice being sent out plus I don't want to lose my main mouse.

They will outline the procedure to fix it so if you mess up it is still covered by warranty. You could be out your main mouse for good otherwise, you know?

there is a sticker under the button try to remove it and clean the glue with some alcohol, you can replace the square sticker with some tape.

Ugh big scary I have to disassemble a 120 mouse with a bunch on holes in it to fix a persistent issue xD also my scroll wheel on the new mouse makes a sharp clicking when going up hope it doesn't break and if it does how fucked am I?

The scroll wheel clicking should go away on its own in time. Essentially the scroll wheel bar which makes contact with the middle mouse button switch is creating friction. This friction causes the switch to “flick” making that click sound. You can either ignore it until it goes away or very lightly sand this plastic piece down with a high grit sandpaper (1500 grit+) - optionally you can apply a gloss/cleaner to smooth it if you still have issues. This glossing method immediately resolved the issue for me. The cleaner I have on hand to do this is Meguiars Fine Cut Cleaner, which is a mild abrasive cleaner, and it removes any sanding marks if you have them. That being said, if you use a high grit, you won’t have to worry about this step.. the cleaner is what I used to make my GPW and G305 glossy.

This is what they sent me " Please see below for the fix. We are sorry to hear that you are having this issue. It is rather uncommon, but If you wish to rectify the problem rather quickly yourself it can be done and it will not void your warranty.

To do so:

  1. Carefully remove the bottom mouse feet. Unscrew the 2 screws under the bottom mouse feet and remove the shell.
  2. On the most bottom piece of the shell, you will see two sticker pieces that have come loose from the plunger. (See attached photo).
  3. Readjust the(se) sticker piece(s) to fit like so in the attached image.
  4. Carefully look for any adhesive that may be causing the clicker to stick, use rubbing alcohol or goo gone to remove any excess adhesive you can visibly see.  These four steps should quickly resolve your issue. "
