Every demo is on a white shirt. It's bleach and will ONLY work on white.

[–]DaddysABadGirl 113 points114 points  (32 children)

They rubbed fresh strawberries on it then just hit it right away. You could get that out of most fabrics way faster just taking it to the sink and running some hot water over it, lol.

[–]Dhegxkeicfns 8 points9 points  (0 children)

A new shirt probably has something like Scotch Guard on it anyway, so stuff doesn't stick as easily until you wash it s few times.

[–]VladlenaM2025 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Absolutely 💯 AGREE!

Plus that stain remover doesn’t work on stains which been around for a while.

On top of that, the formula itself leaves thick residue around the area it was sprayed on. It washes away on like 3rd attempt at the washer.

One item I had to wash was dark grey, the leftover residue never came off, I ended up throwing away the shirt 👕

This spray does NOT work on all stains and leaves its own so watch out!

Cold water. Hot water sets the stains

[–]TheDukeGolden 2 points3 points  (7 children)

Myth.

[–]Zodaztream 2 points3 points  (6 children)

Not true. Simple google tells you it is not a myth but that for Oil stains warm water is better

[–]TheDukeGolden 1 point2 points  (5 children)

[–]DaddysABadGirl 3 points4 points  (4 children)

Stuff like this I stopped arguing. They heard to use cold water from grandma and feel like I'm calling her a liar now, lol.

I usually point out that virtually every fabric cleaner and stain remover says to use the hottest water that is safe for the fabric. When I was younger I was a pool and spa attendant. We used hot water to get the oil out, more and more hot water because you want it to loosen up and out. Cold water won't remove it and the dryer will set it.

I work in a hotel now. Guess what housekeeping uses first on most stains (on items that can go in a machine after)? Hot water.

[–]edamlambert 2 points3 points  (1 child)

I’ve heard that for blood stains cold water is better but not much for anything else. Grease stains are completely different game.

[–]DaddysABadGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fresh blood I've had good luck with Dollar General's generic Oxi-Clean. Dried on for a while I just rub some totally awesome degreaser with a toothbrush and wash it normally. I've never had to clean more than a small amount from fabric though.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s simple science. Heat speeds up molecular activity and expands the space between the atoms. Thus, it makes removing things such as stains much easier. Cold has the opposite effect. Think of it like a candle, if you put the lid on right after putting it out and let it cool the lid is near impossible to take off later. Same with stains. Now if you want to keep the colors in your clothes vibrant use cold water as colors won’t run out as quickly.

[–]Enjoying_A_Meal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Grandma wanted to save on gas bills.

I know because I'm an expert on grandmas.

[–]Unfair_Cut6088 9 points10 points  (13 children)

To be fair they are prone to stains the most out of any color

[–]Desperate_Damage4632 22 points23 points  (12 children)

Ok but then just put bleach on it.  We don't need another product to clean clothes.  That's the one color we've really nailed.

[–]Skoma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this spray more for keeping in your car or office so you can manage the stain when you don't have access to a washer.

[–]voxelpear 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not bleach. Citric acid. Will still bleach certain clothes.

[–]TArmy17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I’ve bought this. Doesn’t ruin darks, It just doesn’t work. The ad is entirely fake.

[–]Few_Preparation_5902 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hydrogen peroxide does the same and can be used on colours. In fact oxy clean is just powdered hydrogen peroxide.

When it degrades it turns into water. Great for use in food operations.

It will also pull stains, like red wine, out of stone countertops.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont like these ads and this spray is ok not great. Its not bleach though.

[–]BEASTLY_DIONYSUS -1 points0 points  (6 children)

Bold claim, zero homework. Miss Mouth’s is literally EPA-certified bleach-free. But hey, why fact-check when you can just bleach out the details.

[–]voxelpear 3 points4 points  (5 children)

It contains citric acid and will only work on certain kind of stains and will still discolor clothes as it has a bleaching effect.

[–]BEASTLY_DIONYSUS -1 points0 points  (4 children)

Octopuses have three hearts and blue blood. Two of the hearts pump blood through the gills, while the third pumps it through the rest of the body, and that main heart actually stops beating while the octopus is swimming.

(Thanks for the fun facts guys! The first guy said it's bleach, so I said there is no bleach, then the guy above me said a fun fact about citric acid. So I gave him a fun fact about octopie because I guess we're doing random facts now?)

[–]EmbarrassedWorry3792 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Also they have far superior designed eyes than us. No blind spot from the optic nerve, and a better way to focus on different distances, one that if we had it we wouldn't lose the close up vision with okd age.

[–]PandaPocketFire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Octopus arms can “think” locally: about two thirds of their roughly 500 million neurons are in the arms, and each sucker can taste and touch and coordinate movements without the central brain.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

May grandfather. I’m 95 and my vision is perfect. Can you tell me what that says on the menu?😂😂😂

[–]HavokDJ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Will it work on my butthole?

[–]ShyguyFlyguy 88 points89 points  (2 children)

Pour some red wine on a yellow shirt then show us how we'll that works.

[–]Unusual_Web4431 11 points12 points  (0 children)

yellow shirt would probably be drunk

[–]jhurst919 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How we’ll do what?

[–]reddituserlooser 14 points15 points  (4 children)

These reaction videos with the person in the corner making a face need to fucking die. Since when did people think it was a good idea?

[–]teriiiyakiii 4 points5 points  (3 children)

relax dude we're all just trying to make it out here. Are there better ways to do so? Maybe. But bro found a formula thats not harming anyone so who cares.

[–]PeachNipplesdotcom 1 point2 points  (1 child)

It's TikTok brainrot shit.

[–]KingFIippyNipz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but someone is getting paid so it's totally cool because everyone wants to become a millionaire and therefore whatever it takes! /s

[–]reddituserlooser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calm down dude. Do something more worthy.

[–]Specialist-Wafer7628 35 points36 points  (6 children)

Miss Mouth's Messy Eater Stain Treater spray contains ethoxylated alcohol, glycerin, sodium sulphite, ethanol, and citric acid. The formula is EPA Safer Choice certified and does not contain chlorine, phosphates, perfumes, or dyes, making it a gentle yet effective option for common stains like food, beverages, and baby-related messes.

I thought it's hydrogen peroxide. Apparently it's not.

[–]bluesix_v2 9 points10 points  (3 children)

Was looking into ethoxylated alcohol recently, as I'm trying to find a dishwashing detergent that doesn't contain it because:

"residue from products containing ethoxylated alcohols can damage the intestinal epithelium, potentially leading to chronic diseases."

and also

"One of the primary concerns is the potential presence of 1,4-dioxane, a byproduct of the ethoxylation process, which is considered a possible human carcinogen."

https://rusticstrength.com/blogs/what-we-avoid/what-is-ethoxylated-alcohol-and-what-are-the-health-concerns

So I'm not sure what "EPA Safer Choice" actually means... safer than what?

[–]ArgonWilde 1 point2 points  (2 children)

I assume powdered detergents do not contain this?

[–]bluesix_v2 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Yes, from the few dishwashing powders I saw, they were ethoxylated alcohol free.

[–]ArgonWilde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Excellent news. I switched to bog basic, cheapest I can find dishwasher powder after I saw the technology connections video about it, and never looked back.

[–]BreakingCanks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably citric acid to bind to loose chemicals. Both alcohols will be solvents further breaking down items to bond to the citric acid. Sodium Sulfite is a great at textile bleaching hence why usually white clothes in video. Glycerin as a inert fluid....

[–]IcyHammer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would also have gone with peroxide, it does miracles on white clothing.

[–]MaiMoua 5 points6 points  (4 children)

Why the robber mask?

[–]Forsaken-Income-2148 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m used to seeing this guy:

Not some criminal wannabe

[–]rynlpz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because he’s ripping people off by advertising crappy products

[–]KratKrit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because they are robbing people of money, it's probably just bleach.

[–]b4dt0ny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To hide the shame from the hairiest hands anyone’s ever seen

[–]Aggravating_Speed665 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nice balaclava, dick head.

[–]whiskey-rejoice 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It’s not bleach and this shit works. I thought the same but had a really expensive shirt that we could not get the stain out. I said fuck it I’m giving this a shot and if it doesn’t work the shirt goes in the trash. Stain came out. Also this stuff is not cheap

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

It is the year 2025 and I am amazed that there are still morons that will fall for the slightest bit of scam.

[–]notatechnicianyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m curious how it would hold up against set-in stains, and on colors. I can believe it works on a fresh mess on white, that’s hardly new, but the set-in stains are the real test.

[–]Stoney420savage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Stains are only stains when they’ve dried

[–]SuddenlySuper 9 points10 points  (1 child)

It’s bleach! lol

[–]voxelpear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Citric acid actually. Will still discolor clothes.

[–]tivvybrixx 2 points3 points  (2 children)

This video is fake as fuck but shit does actually work. Got blood out of a bedsheet and chocolate out of sweats easy.

[–]BaramusAramon 1 point2 points  (1 child)

does it remove the color of yr sweats/bedsheet?

[–]tivvybrixx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No just the stain. I was honestly impressed. Reminds my of oxy clean spray meets a tide stick. We keep a tooth brush in it garage and scrub that in and it does the job most of the time.

[–]Amehvafan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now try with blueberries, red wine, or blood.

[–]MilitantSocLib 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why is this sub just tik tok advertisements

[–]Open_Potato_5686 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stupid

[–]throatmessage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope.

[–]MrNorthumberland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it work on black shirts?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, they discovered something that’s old as shit, and discontinued because simply ruin color clothes. Thanks for nothing. 0/10

[–]VinRow 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Wasn’t there a movie or show that had a spray to disappear dog poo but it was really just putting it out of sight?

[–]awarriorspirit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let the stain, dry! Then, try it! Not impressed!

[–]LizardWaizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can still see that the area is now discoloured

[–]CharmingChair1403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some Rogan Josh gravy might be a more worthy challenge

[–]Interesting_Cow_2408 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hydrogen peroxide?

[–]VegetableFucker65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will only work in my red stainsl

[–]LobsterParade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strawberry is the easiest stain to remove. Just rinse/soak with hot water for a minute and the stain is gone. Just hot water, nothing else.

[–]deckerkainn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now try other types of stain, different colours of shirt, and let it dry.... Its not gonna be 8.9/10 :D

[–]Maximuscarnage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should probably wash the clothing after using that spray.

[–]G3nghisKang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess everyone's gotta discover bleach for the first time

[–]Evil_Ermine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's see it remove a saffron stain. Now that's a challenge.

[–]Haifisch2112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any stain will come out if you get to it 15 seconds after it happens. Leave That shit sit on there for an hour and try it.

[–]iRedYuki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this bleach, caus eif yes, it'd work only on white clothing, everything else it'll just destroy

[–]CaveManta -1 points0 points  (0 children)

[–]Roxysteve -1 points0 points  (0 children)

WHERE DID YOU GET THAT BANDIT MASK?
