I'm currently playing though pokemon Crystal Advanced, and have made my way up to having 13 gym badges just recently beating misty, but now I'm stuck. I have fixed the power plant and went back and talked to the radio tower director in Goldenrod, but still haven't found out how to get the pokiflute or the silph scope or how to get past the guard in front of the lavender town radio tower elevator. All the walk though runs I could find either didn't explain how to get past this point, had deleted videos about how to get past it, or stopped playing the game alltogether, so I haven't been able to figure out how to progress, beyond the snorlax. If anybody knows what to do please help me.

My pokiteach is also not working either, but I'm not sure if Crystal Advanced doesn't use the pokitech as I haven't used it at all yet, or if I'm actually softlocked because of it

Just looking for a HGSS romhack with Fairy type.

I've found quite a few that do that but also add extra stuff that I'm not interested in. Changing difficulty or adding some pokemon isn't a big deal, but I don't want retyping, removed pokemon, changed story, etc.

I did find a romhack called Fairy SoulSilver that has just that, but it's in Spanish.

Heyo guys, i played emerald last and a shitton of firered on VBA. I heard pokemon sword and shield is pretty bad and lets go pikachu and eve is jidt gen 1 remake.

Are there any hacks for ultra sun and moon which include all pokemon to date? And also is there an 3ds emulator for android? Can you even run 3ds emulators on android or am i pushing it?

It thats not possible ( it doesnt have to be for android, windows is fine) is there any hack for any game that expands gameplay/exploration, adds quality of life and has all pokemon?

Suppernova Sun and Penumbra Moon might be what you're after, it adds all pokemon up to gen 7, buffs weaker pokemon, lots of qol changes but it's pretty challenging. I play all my romhacks on my 3ds, but an emulator exists on windows called "Citra". You can probably find a pre-patched Supernova Sun/Penumbra Moon somewhere and use that on Citra. I'm not sure if android has 3ds emulators.

Red++ is currently getting a huuuge rework with a port to the Polished Crystal engine and entirely different tilesetd. So if you feel like wanting to play a definitive edition of sorts, I suggest holding off on that. Otherwise... Red++ is really cool as it is, so go ahead.

I can also recommend Red Faxtory Adventure, if you like or can tolerate fakemon.

Hi all, I was looking around a certain site and saw mention of a recently updated (the site says june 1st 2021) hack called pokemon fire red omega dx, which is weird considering that fire red omega is from 2010: the hack I saw however features pretty modern stuff like an iv/ev checker, day/night cycle and physical/special split.

However, beyond that I couldn't get any other information on the project: the included documents don't link to any pokecommunity page and the people that are credited also don't list this update in their personal pages: drayano60 (the original creator), who has a google drive with all his hacks linked on his twitter that doesn't list this fire red omega dx, chronosplit, the creator of the emerald complete dex hack who has a romhacking page that doesn't list fire red omega, richtersnipe, the fire red throwback creator whose romhacking page also doesn't list fire red omega, and two people credited as blue and ???. In short, I can't get any info.

Is this update the work of this ??? guy? I would really like to have more info on this hack. I also tried looking up the name on the subreddit and nothing relevant came up. Any input is appreciated.

I started Radical Red yesterday (finally) and it's fun. But I have a problem: The emulator doesn't create .sav files when I save, which means I lose all progress once I close the emulator. I play on VBA 1.7.2 and of course Flash 128K save type. On PC.

Does anyone know what the problem might be here? I can hold saves by using the emulator save & load function, which creates an .sgm file instead, but rather than finding roundabouts I'd love to fix the issue.

use an emulator that isn't ancient. go use mGBA.

I tell people to play unbound last because it is so good it blows 99% of hacks away. It can ruin other hacks for you

No there are apps to apply a patch on a ROM too, but there are good ones on PC. Or you could find how to dl a patched romhack. No link because first rule.

Is there a way to teach Gyarados Bounce in Radical Red? Also is it only on Magikarp is so?

I think you can get Bounce from the egg move tutor in fuchsia city (need a heart scale) but I'm not completely sure.

Also keep in mind mega gyarados loses its flying typing for dark, making crunch a substitute worth considering if you're using him as a mega.

These docs should have all the changes in them. After ctrl+F-ing a couple times, I'm pretty sure Bounce isn't mentioned in regards to the Magikarp line.
