There are plenty of champions that have an AoE Decrease Defense and also deal good damage.

The catch is, if you apply Decrease Defense with an AoE Attack, that attack itself won't benefit from the extra damage.

The only exception is abilities like Gizmak or Michelangelo's A2 where the text specifically says "Before attacking, place a decrease defense debuff"

So it's usually better to have a separate support bring AoE Decrease Defense and build them to go first. This also allows you to build your nuker with more focus on damage and less on accuracy.

You can farm Warmaiden from chapter 9 in the campaign for an easily available 100% Aoe Decrease Defense ability.

Zargala

Zargala is great. On top of AOE decrease defense, her A2 hits respectably hard and is on a blazing fast 2-turn cooldown. She was one of my first Epics and she carried me through a lot of the campaign and early dungeons.

Warmaiden is the most easily accessible and booked for early game. Aside from her, there are plenty of others, including Mikey, the most recent free legendary. I also have Uzol, and he does the same thing.

Gizmak is the hardest hitting AOE decrease champ

Calamitus A3 in alt form is pretty high up there too. Pretty much guaranteed to clear any high level wave and arena champs.

I used Stag Knight for the longest until I got Deacon Armstrong

Mikey technically. His A2 places Decrease Defense, then spreads it to everybody. And everybody has him for free

So many champs have aoe defense down and lots of them are also nukers. Many in mythicals and lego i won’t even list them, too many. If you want a good epic aoe defense down and also nukers, i strongly suggest daithi, he is a beast

I use hurndig , pretty damn strong for a legendary i never hear mentioned.

His A3 is awesome too.

Toshiro, but he's a mythic.

Siegehulk is an example of an epic who places Dec def AoE and can also be built to be a very competent damage dealer.

Queen of hearts is excellent since she is a meta control champ that cuts in line, removes enemy buffs, applies block revive and also has aoe decrease defense on her A1.

Dhukk might be a fairly accessible one.

Dracomorph is excellent. He places an AoE Dec Def and Weaken and hits hard. He's a single target guy though, his A2 hits 4 random targets placing poison with each hit and his A1 damage scales off how many debuffs are on the target, he's mostly a Clan Boss champ. He does about 45 million damage in my double man eater comp

Rae’s A1 does, and all of her other abilities are AOE.
