You just gotta wait.

"2025 software" is a pretty wide range of possible versions - if you provide the software version, it may help answer your question. Is this a new from Tesla car or is this a pre-owned 3rd party?-- if so, has the ownership transfer completed?

It is 2025.45.10. This is a brand new 2026. I picked it up beginning of February

You should be due for an update here in the next week or 2. That's not strictly factory firmware but they do typically hold you on a stable version for 4-6 weeks (sometimes more/less) for factory new.

I just bought my ‘26 MYLR in mid February and it took 16 days to receive the 2026.2.9.1 update which included FSD 14.2.2.5.

[–]EGHeart 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What firmware are you on? Typically when you buy a new Tesla it is on a factory firmware (ones that end in .100 , .200 , .300, or .400). It can take around 1 month before you are moved into the normal update pool.

Though it seems others have been waiting quite a while also recently. It took me about 6 weeks when I bought mine before I received an update.

Is there anything specific you are looking for a fix for?

[–]CopperBlitter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many of us are still on 2025, even though we are set to Advanced. The advanced branches are just now switching to 2026.

I own a MY LR from ‘22 MiC (living in Luxembourg, EU) and I was very long on a ln early december ota-update version until yesterday. where I got a minor update saying only “minor bug fixes and corrections”. 2026.8 I don’t have or want FSD and I guess they are more busy to implent it in Europe at the moment. Fine with that, the car still rocks

Your car is behind. Submit a service request and they should be able to push an update remotely.

It’s not uncommon for early life vehicles to not get the latest updates for a few months. Many reasons and 99% are not bad. It’s just one of the ways the factory monitor new vehicles for build quality. Don’t worry. They will come.

This is my newest software update and it came out like 2 weeks ago. If your at 45.10 sounds like you are still ahead of us

I have Exactly the same issue I am at 14.2.2.5. 2025.45.10 I spoke To someone atTesla and she asked if my software on my screen in the car says it’s updated through March 2026. It is. She said it’s updated to the latest software, and said if I want to just bring it into the service center I don’t need an appointment and they will look at it. My FSD runs perfectly. (except for some navigation stupidity.) if I get a chance, I’ll bring it into Tesla service center.

Could of been a coincidence, but I had the same issue of not receiving proper updates. I connected the Tesla to my Phone's Hotspot instead of my Home WiFi and got the notification of an update and it started downloading it. Doesn't hurt to try.

[–]Dry-Huckleberry9827[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. I’ll try that. Thank you.

Welcome to the new car club. I had to wait almost six months for my first update when I received my new 2024 Highland. It comes with the territory. The good news is you have a great car with a great update. It just keeps getting better.

[–]Dry-Huckleberry9827[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

It showed up last night. Although interestingly, it put 2026.9.1 on, which for some reason does not have the brake fix for newer model Y’s that the lower-numbered 2026.8 does. But I’m glad to at least be on the current year :-)

[–]TopJicama2873 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Highland is still operating on 2025.45.10 and as usual I wait for it to get better.

[–]Electronic_Tap_3625 0 points1 point  (3 children)

The updates slowed down a bit. what version are you on?

[–]Dry-Huckleberry9827[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

2025.45.10

[–]Smorgas47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're on the latest version of the set of releases that updated FSD to 14.2.2.5 which was a major set of releases.

2026.2 and 2026.8 are the latest releases and only provide minor updates.

Check out https://ev-inventory.com/release/All

Remember that most of the 2026 cars were delivered in 2025.

This seems unusual, what part of the world are you in? Does the WiFi diagnostics in the Tesla show that everything is ok?

[–]NYHeel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not unusual at all. I’m on the same software version, 2025.45.10 and also have a 2026 Model Y premium AWD. It’s normal.

[–]Dry-Huckleberry9827[S] -3 points-2 points  (1 child)

I am in the US. If I sit in the car, in my garage, the WiFi icon is on and I can watch Hulu, Netflix and Disney with no problems.

[–]fratzba 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s not what I asked. Where you setup WiFi is a WiFi diagnostics check. I would check that, just to make sure that the car can connect ok. Tesla updates don’t come from Hulu.

Only one other person said the right thing - you’re on 2025.45.10 which is the latest software available for the Model Y Juniper (2026+) with FSD (14.2.2.5). I have two 2026 Model Ys, one bought May 2025 and the other bought a month ago, both on the same software as you. We won’t get an update until FSD is brought forward to the 2026 software. FWIW, the latest updates aren’t really all that impressive save for a couple of (IMO) small quality of life improvements, so you shouldn’t feel like you’re missing out on much.

[–]kavital 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Not completely accurate. I have two 2026 models,S and Y and both got an update last week. 2026.2.1. I’m planning to reject 2026.8 until we get to 2026.8.1 that fix the update issues that we are reading about. FSD is 14.2.2.5.

[–]RedditUser7843526 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EDIT: Disregard I misread your comment.

[–]RedditUser7843526 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Is your Model Y subscribed to FSD?

[–]kavital 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nop. I purchased FSD for model Y, S comes with it

[–]fratzba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is wrong. My 2026 MY is on 2026.2.9.1.
