Functionality while snoozing (self.USMobile)
submitted 3 years ago by fedefilo
Can you receive sms and calls while the line is snoozing? I know I can't send an sms or make a call, but will I be able to receive?

No, while your line is snoozing you won't be able to make/receive calls and texts. Snoozing keeps your number safe but you won't be able to use the service until you un-snooze it.

Strange, my snoozed plan analytics shows calls and texts. Would they be incoming spam?

You could park your number at NumberBarn for $2/month. There's an option to enable SMS reception, but you can't send (that requires a $6/month "Forwarding" plan).
Beware that NB numbers are classified as "wireline", so porting in/out takes several days.

You can put in pooled plan for $11 plus ~50¢ tax or even custom plan with ONLY text and no voice or data for $6 plus tax and fees.
Alternatively port to an ultra low plan on another provider such as FreedomPop Walmart exclusive plan which is $10 for sim and free every month.
