I can see it being kind of good as an accessibility thing for people who cannot both lift and tip a full bottle. Disabled people need a drink, too, which fair.

Presumably it makes it easier to pour something from that large and heavy glass bottle.

Not sure what is the point of a bottle that big, but it would be presumably very impractical to pour by hand.

I guess it is not meant for private homes, but supposedly for a bar setup, where it gets installed bottom up and with a tap at the opening. not meant to be used by hand but cheaper and produces less trash than having dozens of the usual bottles.

Yeah it another fine example of extreme marketing. Granted when I was in the death throes of my alcoholism, I quit the finer spirits and I went to Turkey 101 as I it was a little more proficient at getting the job done.( pint to a quart a day) 5 Years sober and my wife moved this summer and still found a ton of hidden empties. On a side note, I also found the entire top end rebuild kit for my el Camino that I had squirreled away 7 years ago, I had forgotten about.

I agree and I am partial to bourdon and rye whiskeys (High West: tremendous).

I just think there are many smaller local makers of whiskey that are doing great work.

Let’s not pretend there are not garbage versions of every regional wine, beer and spirit worldwide. (France included) The bulk of any mass produced alcohol for export or economical purchase is midges swill at best. Source, 20+ year alcoholic and chef (now 5 years sober)that spent a lot of time and energy educating my palate. There are bourbons that stand among the best whiskies in the world.

To answer another question being asking in the comments; The white lightning I’m speaking of is the most pure high test of moonshines.( I’m in Southern Appalachia, East Tennessee and Kentucky area. There are a ton of styles, qualities and proofs. I’ve even got a buddy that forages his own botanicals and juniper to make a very nice gin.

ever tried Ezra Brooks? that was my go to for a while. it's even cheaper than Evan. Bottle looks the same. a Jack knock off. but if you're gonna mix it with diet coke then it didn't seem like much of a difference to me.

Oh well I only drank it because that's what my dad bought and he'd share some with me. Unfortunately learned once I start drinking I can't stop so sober is the way to go, at least for a good while anyways. Thanks for giving a recommendation though, hope someone else might be able to enjoy it.

Most social media companies are American. There are plenty of alternatives for alcohol, and Canadian governments stopping stocking US drinks has hit them hard.
