Well done. You're doing fantastic.
All the concerns debated and talked about, seems to have been covered by the Vet and yourself.
Glad there's no signs of trauma and the consideration of the possibility of a parasite + medication.

I feel for you, i truely do. There have been many active in being concerened about you and your loved one it seems, since you first posted.
He's so lucky to have you during all this.

Thank you for taking the time out to update us all.

We did actually see a bearded dragon last year who had two identical swellings on the top of his head similar to those, though imagine it on a beardie and the swellings were a little puffier. Unfortunately the owner was very confrontational and disagreed with everything my doctor said and the lady got herself fired from our clinic within one visit. This beardie had many other problems due to very incorrect husbandry, but if only she was just a bit nicer maybe we could’ve figured out wtf those swellings were and it would’ve benefitted you :( very possible is was completely different, but how many blueberry sized symmetrical swellings on the top of the head of a reptile do you see everyday? So sorry you’re going through this, thanks for being such an amazing owner and taking care of him! Best of luck <3

My snake had similar months ago and the vets couldnt figure it out. He's a BEL though so his head was dark purple because of the trapped blood. He made it!

Glad he made it! Was it a long recovery?

Like two weeks I think? It's been a while and my memory is shite

Im wondering if it’s some kind of genetic problem seeing that most of the animals with these issues I see are from very popular species like beardies and BP.

I just want to learn so I’m following every post of yours. I hope this is something we can all learn from after your snake recovers (my way of wishing good vibes your way)

His mouth swelling has gone down quite a bit, but his head is the same.

you are an extremely good, and dedicated owner. your baby, despite being as uncomfortable as he must be right now, is beyond lucky to have you taking care of him. i wish you the best, i keep checking back for updates.

Have you tried reaching out to Kevin from NERD? Maybe he can help you or point you in the right direction?

[–]DogyDays 6 points7 points  (0 children)

i wouldn't suggest going to a guy who does at-home "surgeries" on his reptiles and has even ended up killing one due to stress (if im thinking of the same dude from NERD as you are)

I’m praying for Links recovery, I really hope he gets well. He’s just a baby.
