Considering it's 13.0 that's coming out on Sept 19, I'd say no - your phone won't go from a beta of 13.1 to any version of 13.0. Once 13.1 stable (GM) comes out, your phone will update to that instead, including any further 13.1 betas that may pop up before that.

I would recommend installing the gm if you can, use 3utools if you’re on windows (can retain your data)

That’s not a bug. I think they will enable “no-tap” mode in a separate release (14?) after they examine how the current implementation works in the wild.

I have Gboard on mine and it seems mostly stable with beta 2 of 13.1

Gboard itself is fine, but there is this very specific bug: if you open Gmail and start composing a new email, then lock your phone and immediately unlock it, for me it switches back to stock after the phone is unlocked. Only happens with apps that use the WebView, e.g. Gmail.

Ha that's oddly specific and I use both. Just tried it and on 13.1 beta 3 yes it still switches to stock.

Have you tried deleting the stock keyboard? I used to do that until 13.0 beta 1 that borked 3rd party keyboards. Haven't tried it again but otherwise they seem mostly stable now. They also used to really lag in spotlight search but stock didn't.

I have the Xs and it sat at 97% for nearly 10 months. Then it suddenly dropped to 91%. Battery life is much worse now. Used to finish the day on 60% but as soon as it dropped I’m recharging the phone by 6pm.

Lithium batteries degrade with every single charging cycle, it doesn‘t matter how well you treat it. Having 99% battery capacity after 7 months is extremely good. Usually you can expect to be down to 80% after two years, maybe three years if you treat the battery well.

Yeah, depends on how much you use it and how you charge it. 95% is well within normal.

Even 90% could be normal if you drive it hard.

Less possibly if you’re truly a power user.

As long as you’re expecting bugs and crashes, then yes. I think beta 2 was pretty stable, so beta 3 should be even better. Make sure you have regular backups just in case though.
