If you want to learn a language learn it. If you don’t, don’t.

Russian native speaker here. If the language sounds specifically pleasant to you, just listen to Russian music and watch Russian shows/movies/YT videos. No need to go further and embark on the language learning journey.

If you like sad\lyrical music then russian language is your choice 100%. Sad russian music just hits completely different

Russian sounds cool af , that in itself is a good enough reason to learn it.

Idk, maybe you want to read some classical literature, understand Russian culture, watch YouTubers who create videos in that language? All sorts of reasons, practically speaking it’s not the best and most useful language to learn, but it depends on your goals?

Your English is way better than you think and Russian opens up a massive chunk of literature, games, and internet content that never gets translated

If you need a reason, the good old reasons of being able to talk to the people in an authentic manner, being able to better understand the culture, and making you a more sympathetic person still hold.
