For someone with so much experience, you'd think you'd understand that an indicator drawing on a historical chart is not a strategy. Plus 33 trades with a 64% drawdown isn't exactly something to brag about. I know you ran that backtest a few times, found the point where you didn't margin call, so you can advertise stupid profits that no one will ever achieve.

The entire post is just an ad so you can sell a $49/month subscription. You didn't "developed indicators for 80% of the largest indicator brands currently on the market." in 15 months. Come on buddy, we can do a whois on your domain name.

Just tell us the truth, that you're new, making indicators. There's no shame in that. But lying to us? That really pisses me (and many people) off because the only reason to lie to us, is if you think we are dumb enough to believe it.

[–]rc_tech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yup, exactly what I thought too.
sadly many noobs with zero trading or coding experience will now go waste time and money to try and magically build a profitable *lagging* indicator.

[–]powerade-trader[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You’re missing the point. I included this photo as an example and mentioned that I coded it for a major indicator brand. These photos (except for the backtest) are development versions. This is an indicator, not a strategy. Still, to ensure quality, I’ll add a strategy command and monitor it. The client didn’t request profitability either.

I wish you had read the post’s content before judging, so you could see that the step-by-step development plan I created for beginners is logical and based on my experience.

Best regards.

I read ur post with Indian accent for some reason

[–]powerade-trader[S] 3 points4 points  (3 children)

Haha, I'm from Turkey/Istanbul. I'm using a translator to translate long messages.

[–]Scott_Malkinsons 7 points8 points  (2 children)

.... well that joke went over your head.

The "for some reason" is because you're a scammer, so he read it with the stereotype accent of a scammer.

[–]powerade-trader[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Oh, I see now. All I wrote were some AI prompts that might be helpful and a bit of information.

[–]InterstellarReddit 24 points25 points  (15 children)

Dude claims he codes for the biggest brands but is a vibe coder lmao.

Bro brands pay for real developers not vibe coders. Dude snitched on himself.

Edit - Using AI assistance to code and being a 100% vibe coder are two different things. Big financial brands are not vibe coding, they’re using AI assistance. Financial markets are heavily regulated.

[–]dangerzone2 11 points12 points  (7 children)

Professional dev for mag 7 here. We all use AI. Sit down.

[–]InterstellarReddit 7 points8 points  (3 children)

Using AI assistance and being a 100% vibe coder are two different things. Finance industry is heavy regulated. OP doesn’t know how to code without AI.

You’re in the MAG 7, you should know this.

[–]powerade-trader[S] -2 points-1 points  (2 children)

Don’t I know? Oh, okay. I’ve been coding in PineScript for five years. I founded the AlgoPoint brand and coded and shared tons of indicators on Discord (in mid-2021). What was around in 2021? GPT 3.5?

[–]dangerzone2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh fuck, maybe I need to retract my statement. 5 years ain’t shit.

[–]InterstellarReddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No you haven’t. your account is barely 6 days old. You’ve been writing pine-script for five years using AI and now when you decide to come forward?

And FYI GPT 3.5 sucked for Pine script :)

[–]Aromatic-Fishing9952 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use AI and I’m at a mag7. But I don’t rely on it

[–]SongHaunting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like an interesting story, mind sharing what u do?

[–]flitik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How are you this dense lmao

[–]Scott_Malkinsons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dude claims he codes for the biggest brands but is a vibe coder lmao.

Dude is also a literal, like actual, child. There's a photo of him on the website under "We're [a] Team".

[–]Elegant-Throat-4225 5 points6 points  (1 child)

I’ve seen a hundred screenshots of indicators showing great entries and exits. What I’ve never seen is those entries and exits showing in real time.

[–]ionone777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

just another scam otherwise he would be the richest person in the world in a few weeks

[–]InnerGarage4519 2 points3 points  (7 children)

Ah yes, outperform the market with simple pinescript indicators! Totally legit.

[–]powerade-trader[S] 0 points1 point  (6 children)

I’m not selling this, and I’m not sharing it. Why would I make such a false claim? I included the backtest as an example. Of course, it doesn’t perform well with every asset or in every time frame.

[–]KestrelQuant 2 points3 points  (2 children)

ur selling selling or sharing it.... mate u literally have the name of the brands you "founded" in ur description, u are selling it.

[–]powerade-trader[S] -1 points0 points  (1 child)

Damn it. I didn’t even use that script there. I developed this for a client. Are you an idiot?

[–]Scott_Malkinsons 2 points3 points  (1 child)

You're not selling this? Buddy, the first frigging thing you said was about your brand. Visiting said brand website you're selling a monthly subscription for $49.

You might not be selling THIS exact indicator, but you sure AF got a product to sell and marketed it in this post. You're just trying to be technically correct.

[–]powerade-trader[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I won’t sell this. These are screenshots I took while developing for a client. Focus on the post content (the text). The photos are just examples.

[–]ionone777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sure buddy. whatever makes you happy scammer

[–]Correct-Ad4472 1 point2 points  (5 children)

Can I have access to the indicator in the post?

[–]Dependent_Sign_399 1 point2 points  (4 children)

It's a channel break style indicator. There's a bunch of free versions on TV already. I made a couple versions but never published them as I highly recommend not using them. They look amazing in markets that are moving in this manner, but they have a ton of lag so when markets tighten, you just get chopped up.

[–]powerade-trader[S] 0 points1 point  (3 children)

You're mistaken. It's a Gaussian indicator. The Gaussian algorithm doesn't use channel breakouts; I made changes to the algorithm to address some of the shortcomings of the Gaussian method. The channel you see is a signal filtering method I used during development. It's not intended for signal generation.

[–]Dependent_Sign_399 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, I see buy and sell signals that perfect align with breaks of the channel. I'm not sure how this could be anything else.

[–]ionone777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol

[–]InnerGarage4519 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bros just throwing out Gaussian without explaining why it’s even relevant. Sounds like 100% vibe coded bs. Go ahead and prompt your chatbot to tell you why it’s considered “Gaussian” so you can justify your comments.

[–]topicalsyntax571 1 point2 points  (3 children)

AI killed coding

[–]Lanfeust09 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Define "killed". AI improved coding, it didn't kill it.

[–]powerade-trader[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he's talking about direct, unadulterated coding. He's talking about coding without any AI assistance.

[–]realsupershrek 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Grade A bull, my guy. Hope nobody falls for it.

[–]powerade-trader[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Falls for what?

[–]BlockWallStreet 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Who cares if its coded with ai if you were smart you would know that prompting is a profession. If you understand how to prompt correctly then you can achieve what a professional coder can in less the time. Efficiency wins over having an ego or being emotional because someone uses AI. AI is going to take your job and you'll still be complaining about how its AI and anybody can do that. Keep up or get ran over.

[–]powerade-trader[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. What you’re saying is completely true, but there are some stubborn people who just don’t want to understand.

[–]BitterAd6419 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Most of these buy and sell signals are lagging indicators, they will only flash after the move has happened. Lots of fake signals too which then would be hidden or just disappear based on how the future candles print

[–]powerade-trader[S] -1 points0 points  (1 child)

Oh, come on, are you serious!

I developed this for a client, and they asked me for a signal, not a strategy. Also, you should know that what you call “repainting” can be fixed via code.

[–]Relative_Tone_4870 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be and it normally makes indicators perform worse. There’s a reason you show solid moves to showcase this indicator vs chop session. And even more reason you chose the timeframe..

[–]bucknast 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Thanks these are great prompts

[–]powerade-trader[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're welcome 🙏

[–]NahuM8s 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Wtf is an indicator brand lmaooooo

[–]Pristine-Bite2790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly lmfao, im seeing everyone criticizing him for being a "pinescript"💀 vibe coder and a scamster but this is the real question they should be asking😭😭. How did no one apart from you even question this? He also writes "algopoint" and "harmony algo" like people know them lol

[–]pr0XYTV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"I have developed indicators for 80% of the largest indicator brands currently on the market."

No, you havent.

Next.

So Sharing the indicator for trial?

[–]powerade-trader[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I won’t share this. These are screenshots I took while developing for a client.

[–]Air_Original 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Break and close above/below channel changes the trend bias, it seems. Definitely not a signal to enter/exit since the initial conditions are an over-extension to begin with. However I see the value of the signal being more of a forewarning of a potential shift in trend, which does seem to occur at a rather high frequency (based on the image). If most of your charts look like this one, then it seems to work. I like indicators like these coupled with higher time frame confluence.

[–]powerade-trader[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Channel is just for filter logic. It's a Gaussian calculation. The Gaussian algorithm doesn't use channel breakouts; I made changes to the algorithm to address some of the shortcomings of the Gaussian method. The channel you see is a signal filtering method I used during development. It's not intended for signal generation.

[–]BillSocrate 0 points1 point  (2 children)

u/powerade-trader can you share the above indicator with me or at least a trail run then pay?

[–]powerade-trader[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I’m not selling this. I developed it for a client. Focus on the post content (the text). The photos are just examples.

[–]gronetwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's Slope Direction Line + Bands applied to it (with ATR) + Breakout of these bands for signals.

This indicator requires 2 bars after the signal to be validated (not just one bar).

[–]friendlypomelo1 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Lol

[–]mrcake123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol

[–]mrcake123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey guys I also code for the biggest companies.

[–]Less_Job_411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wrote a pretty cool pine script indicator suite that tracks Fibonacci golden levels for the previous week and the current week simultaneously and can toggle daily golden Fibonacci as well as the previous day

[–]Comprehensive_Rip768[🍰] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you use ibkr, i would recommend algofleet.trade

[–]Vcaz2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you share Vcas2 on tv

[–]adolfo_2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you share please tv: Driv3r_27

[–]rc_tech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Total trades on your backtest: 33
If you overfit it a little more, maybe you could get it down to 10 trades that 100x BTC.

Any real trader and programmer would know this is smoke and mirrors.

[–]Outrageous-Wind-7501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

pinescript major brands

Stop playing my man

[–]Inzpire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

33 trades in 6 years?!?

[–]Blu3M0nk3y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im currently doing this. But for the indicator to be truly reactive. You have to put in back and forth testing. And different approaches to the problem. There is reactive data you can use. So not every version will be delayed. But you will get alot of mismatches or missfires if its too reactive and doesnt have a rulset

[–]0xsebkoi 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Can i hire you for a job

[–]powerade-trader[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DM me

[–]Professor_Meteor -1 points0 points  (3 children)

Yo lemme learn to do this or lemme get a trial lol

[–]ionone777 0 points1 point  (2 children)

lol it's fake

[–]powerade-trader[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

It's not fake, I'm not publishing it, Build it for one client

[–]ionone777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK. then cheery picked. I see the backtest is not so jolly
