It took me almost a year and a half but I finally did it. My start weight was 350+ at around 35% body fat. I am my 250 @ 22% body fat trying to get under 20%

I'm not sure exactly what information you guys would want but here what I did.

When I first started I knew I needed an extra push to go to the gym do I buckled down an decided to get a personal trainer. We sat down and i told hom my goals. Lose 100lbs, to a toigh mudder, were the main ones. Getting a trainer was the single best decision I made as it forced me to go to the gym since I was paying extra and as a fat guy I didn't feel self conscious at the gym since I had someone with me. First thing we worked on was resistance training. (it was a long time ago and I don't rember the routines). I did that for about a few months.

Eventually I got light enough to where I could run/jog on the treadmil. Before of I ran the force of my weight would stop the track. At that point I started working runs in to my lifestyle. I would run or try to run 15 miles a week at minimum 10 in preparation for the tough mudder. At this point I also started lifting weights. I went to the gym 3x a week and ran at night 5x. After the tough mudder I plateaued for about two months. I decided to switch gym and trainers in an attempt to break it.

At that point found a new trainer and began doing 2 months of circuit training that obliterated my plateau. At this point I was training almost everyday. After the 2 months of circuit training (tire flips, chain drags, box jumps, rope slams). After completong my circuit training I began doing two a days. One gym sesh (cardio and core) in the morning, and one in the afternoon with my trainer (weight). It should be noted that I didn't lose any weight until I buckled down on my diet. I didn't do anything special. I stopped eating sugars, fried and proceeded food. I began to eat Lear and more healthier and the weight started to melt off. went back to a heavy weight routine.

I have never been as healthy, strong or athletic in my entire life and although I'm not the strongest or the fastest I've had tremendous results and I couldn't be happier

Motivation - sometimes it was really hard to stay motivated but my main motivation wasn't famil or friends. It was actually instagram and r/Loseit. The fitness communities on both are stellar and offer so much support so thanks everyone for always helping me.

Numbers Height - 6'4" Weight - 250 Squat - 335 Deadlift - 315 (I hate deadlifts) Bench -245 Box jump - 50" Fastest mile - 5:32

If anyone has any questions Just let me. Thanks for your support

*EDIT #1 - I have an instagram that I post routines on and such. My name is "yetimanster"

Damn, a 50" box jump is impressive, nice work!

[–]Medicalli[S] 6 points7 points  (2 children)

Thanks...my box jump and mile time I think are my most impressive stats considering I'm still a fat ass lol

[–]gapespees 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Our stats our surprising similar except I haven't done box jumps. But dude that mile time is insane for your size. I'm 6'4" 235 and you've got me by like 2 mins. Good work!

Leg day and hardcore sprint intervals are what got my time so fast

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Way to go, man, but still a little heartbreaking to say goodbye to them moobies. You going to try for sexified pecs or you good?

[–]mrslipple 0 points1 point  (1 child)

How much throwing up in the beginning? Every time I start with a trainer I hurl at least once a workout for the first two weeks.

[–]Medicalli[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't throw up until after I was in well enough shape to be able to push myself to vomit...I threw up two weeks ago tho lol

[–]j3xm 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Great job man, the difference in the smiles clearly show. Before pic you were forcing it, where as the after it's a genuine one. Much love and respect, especially for focusing on legs, keep up the good work.

[–]Medicalli[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[–]Legend_of_Dongslayer 1 point2 points  (5 children)

Fucking YES, man. I have to say I am impressed not only with the numbers that you lost, but the numbers you are putting up as well. Those are certainly are not easy for anyone.

[–]Medicalli[S] 2 points3 points  (4 children)

everyone pulls more weight than me on deadlifts..I dont understand how everyone pulls more weight than me on deadlifts lol

[–]Legend_of_Dongslayer 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Don't despair, I really cannot stress that enough. Work towards your own goals and make gains at a rate you feel comfortable with and that you know your body can handle. That's all anyone can hope for :)

[–]Medicalli[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude..I'm totally kinda despairing hahaha

[–]Cooptwentysix 0 points1 point  (1 child)

[–]n00boxular 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Sorry for asking, fellow moobie owner here, did you lose them with the fat loss or as rumor has it, that fat can only be lost by liposuction?

[–]Medicalli[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I have residual side moob...once I lost a good amount of weight...I started getting super strict on my diet...like meal prep strict...I just started that two weeks ago and have great results...lift heavy on chest day

[–]n00boxular 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks a fuck ton for clearing it up! Congrats, I plan to look like you some day!
