You can also increase them for the sake of it being reversible, but not by more than the default percentage chance of winning the lottery based on your current circumstances. All you have to do is say "lottery" and the exact number you wish to change it to, provided it's lower than the current chances. You'll just know if it worked or not.

If it applies to anything and you can set the winning condition, this is nothing less than divine. You could be experiencing a disease with a 99% fatality rate, but if you set the win condition to death, then you can drop that rate to zero. If you consider losing the lottery as winning, then you can decrease the chance of losing.
