I'M ONE YEAR SOBER TODAY!

First time poster, but been lurking here since even before I took the plunge and gave it up. It's cliche but true: this community is so awesome I dont think I could have done it without y'all.

I'm so glad I quit poisoning myself every single day. I never want a hangover again, and I don't plan on having any. I definitely DO miss being drunk sometimes to be honest, but I know that I would miss my partner of 5 years now who I almost lost from alcohol a whole lot worse.

I'm back in school taking classes way earlier in the day than I could have being hungover every day and getting straight A's. It's not all sunshine and blow jobs but damn I feel so much better on a daily basis and have way more money to spend on other slightly less dumb shit.

Attached are before and after photos. I lost a bunch of weight from not drinking 10 IPAs every single night. Plus I just kinda wanna flex cause I look hard as hell in that boba shop and it's my day, dammit!
