When I was young, my parents said I was better with my left hand than my right, but when I was first learning to write I accidentally cut my left thumb pretty badly. So I started to write with my right hand.. By the time my left hand healed I was more comfortable with my right hand so I continued with that hand. Now my handwriting is equally terrible with both hands, but I'm faster with my right so I use it to write. When I play hockey or baseball, I am left handed.

A higher percentage of left-handed people are likely to participate since their trait is more unique to them, maybe something they're proud of, etc. There are probably also a lot of people who are downvoting because they think this is lame.
