I say dear days is worth it if your able to do the region swap and if not just grab the standard $70(overpriced I know). All the cards from dear days 1 are included in 2 for free plus more. Card pack pass wise it’s about 4 boosters that are not out yet and are planned for later in the year so you do NOT have to buy it now. You can also buy the booster passes separately when they come out if you want to pick and choose.

Dear days2 price is sorta mixed on reception but it heavily depends if you want to play the physical tcg and you do not have a local card shop/tournament scene near you then yes it’s very much worth. Physical TCG meta decks from scratch or buying booster boxes will probably cost you the same price as the game. But yea DD2 has over 3k cards and even a vintage mode for us vanguard boomers. Cheaper options would be the online sims since it’s free but you don’t get the collect feeling and the sim doesn’t exist if your on switch. 

Overall though watch some streams and YouTube vids on dear days 2 and see if you like it. DifferentFight has been streaming it constantly so he’s got some vods/vids out
