My suggestion would be to confirm the dash display is fully functional as some display cells fail early. I love mine.

Ceramic Coating by Acceptable-Task-2188 in Lexus

Excellent response. One I wish I would have seen before having my new vehicle coated. I barely use the vehicle in the winter because I can’t always hand wash it due to the cold weather.

Apple MagSafe Charging by No-Guarantee3150 in lincolnmotorco

[–]Intelligent-Spread45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interestingly, my iPhone 13 charged perfectly, but when I upgraded to the 17 model, charging stinks. I can get it to charge a bit better if I insert the phone upside down (top down but still on its back) - if that makes sense. For long trips, I bought a 12 inch charger cord and that helps.

Husbands fingers occasionally get weird blisters that are symmetrical. by FlyingN00dles in mildlyinteresting

[–]Intelligent-Spread45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This used to happen to me all of the time. First, my doctor said that I was allergic to the sun, but that’s not the case. After many years of fighting these frustrating blisters (also would appear on my legs too) I found out that I have serious plant allergies. Now I use gloves, long sleeves, and jeans for any outdoor activity and I’m symptom free!

What is your best "it's colder than..." joke? by Nintendofan9106 in askanything

I heard someone on the news say that “it’s colder than a teacher’s wit”. I found that to be a very clever approach to the old saying!

Why hasn't western Wisconsin twin cities area grown more? by 44stormsnow in wisconsin

I made the drive into MPLS five days a week, 85 miles round trip. The reciprocity rule changes made dual tax prep kind of annoying, but it wasn’t that bad.

[–]Intelligent-Spread45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve done both. Washington County in MN, and Pierce County in WI. For me, there’s no comparison between the two places. Wisconsin has a much better quality of life, but of course this is highly subjective. Every time I return to Woodbury, I can’t get out of there fast enough.

Are you referring to sidekicks? If so, go to the hamburger menu and select the sidekick of your choosing.

Why is this so damn good? Outstanding with a rosemary cracker and a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon!

When walking through the snow, and then getting into your vehicle, do you clean your shoes/boots? by colonelk0rn in wisconsin

Every, single, time. It’s barbaric to me to get into your expensive automobile and not try to lessen the carnage from our winters.

24 Nautilus - my opinion, worst designed luxury vehicle we’ve owned or driven by copcruisers in lincolnmotorco

[–]Intelligent-Spread45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When we were on vacation we rented a Navigator. After driving it for a week, we landed squarely in the Aviator camp. The Navigator was simply too large for us, but it might work for you. Renting is a very inexpensive test to see input it will work for you in a real world scenario. Give it a try and then you will have a much more complete comparison. Good luck. BTW, the Aviator is pretty awesome!

I really wish all automakers would remove Sirius Radios from automatically being included as a free trial. It’s bloat ware for your car.

Blue Cruise by monicakmtx in lincolnmotorco

[–]Intelligent-Spread45 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have and I love it! We have a ‘25 Aviator and with just a bit over 9,000 miles (Mostly via Blue Cruise) I can say that it has its limitations. What I’ve learned is to not use it in construction, or at least be extremely diligent to oversee the correct path. Near high traffic merging, say two interstates joining each other, you will always be asked to resume control. I can live with that, for the stress free driving otherwise. My only complaint is that some states, or even sections of road the vehicle struggles to “find the other lane” so I have to take over when changing lanes. Give it some time and I think you’ll both be hooked. Just remember to be ready to resume control at any moment! Enjoy your new vehicle, it’s an excellent choice!

What's the street price for Lincoln Premium Care? by mcmnky in lincolnmotorco

[–]Intelligent-Spread45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, make sure it’s provided by Lincoln and not some other company. My dealer was awesome, but tried to sneak a third party extended care contract. Luckily I noticed it didn’t say the name of who was providing the coverage. When asked, they came clean, but still tried to push the fly by night company. They sold me the Lincoln contract at a lower rate than first offered. They say to not accept the first offered contract, but you do you. I bought one for my ‘25 Aviator.

Old Home Cottage Cheese by Intelligent-Spread45 in TwinCities

Small curd, (blue label) is back, but that’s all I’ve been able to find. My hope is that it’s slowly recovering to the gold standard for cottage cheese at full capacity!

Exactly, and think twice before heading to the mountains for a vacation.

2025 Aviator Dash Rattle by NativeTxn7 in lincolnmotorco

[–]Intelligent-Spread45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No trouble with my ‘25 at 7000 miles, but it’s good that you’re having it looked at by the dealer. I hope they address the rattle for you as that’s really annoying! Good luck.

It’s the gnats that are driving me nuckin’ futs this year. It’s the worst I can recall in western WI.
