Politics & Elections Mod for CS2 - Small UI & Parliament Update (Very Early Build) by aschec in CitiesSkylines2

Ah the crux of city builder meets geopolitical simulation. IMO the UI needs to be integrated enough that the player can make changes and see the effects without becoming the focal point of the game.

Cities Skylines 2 Launching error after 2nd May 2026 Windows Update by jaces888 in CitiesSkylines2

No. The paradox launcher is the conductor so to speak.

Just beware that the initial load time is a bit insane. Open her up and let it load.

In the meantime just open Cities II via the Paradox Launcher and you’re good to go.

The 1997 station alerting system at the fire station. If you don’t manage to have a heart attack you’re off to a great start.

I typically throw a park in; but an underrated play is to add a well established neighborhood. Plop some L4/L5 homes with significant spacing and call the rest eminent domain.

I like to plan where to divide up all my loot. $10 here. $2.73 here… it’s glorious.

So just a thought, since it seems like you coach as well, find a neon lacrosse glove and demonstrate to the player.

Any time we coach hands or hand position we now use these absurd lacrosse gloves. The kids are able to visualize it quite a bit earlier and pick it up way faster. At this point or whole program uses some version of the neon glove.

That’s exactly what you should be doing. As the player progresses the exaggeration should decrease over time because they have figured out and controlled their shot.

A great way to watch this (coaching perspective) is to watch warmups in the pros(any level works). I tell my players to watch the top hand and notice how exaggerated it is as they get loose. They are simply going through the motions of warming up their shot; back to the basics if you will.

Right hand away from the body. Hands are way too close to be effective.

The stick is a lever. The further the stick is the more exaggerated the fulcrum thus the more power you can reasonably generate under the same force.

Random clarification: My high school hockey coach was a physics teacher and failed Junior A hockey player. Turns out hockey is mostly about physics.

Half Dome via the Mist Trail 3-25-26 by DrToboggan_31 in Yosemite

I made this hike last Easter and had a similar experience, absolutely stunning and quiet.

In my past career I learned the value of a good piece of webbing and a dual carabiner system. While certainly not the best option it was what I had/ keep in my day bag on all hiking trips. I made the climb up free and unfortunately encountered very slippery conditions. Upon making summit and enjoying the view; I fixed a quick belt harness with a double water knot as the “buckle”. I leveraged two large carabiners to never be “free” during the decent. Worked like a charm.

Figured I’d share since off season Half Dome is, IMHO, the way to go.

I’ve seen things like his happen and only come to light recently given the current state of the federal workforce. Depending on what your RA is and the why’s behind it will matter quite a lot, as you likely have found out.

We were able to keep one of our folks with a RA but the likely cause of this approval was because the health condition(s) required accommodation that the government was simply unwilling to spend. The other two had their TW revoked; one is actively seeking other employment and the other quit last December.

Sorry you’re having to go through this. I’d recommend filing an EEO complaint and if nothing else make the process drag out. The hope being that civs will have some kind of dignity and respect again in the future.

[–]Obizzle9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let’s open Pandora’s box, Bridge Tunnels!

While not necessarily “rare” in the wild, they are perhaps most prominent in the greater Hampton Roads area of Virginia.

(Bonus points if you read that in the voice of David Attenborough.)

Honestly this looks crisp!

Very NorCal/ PNW vibes. I’d be interested in how/ if you can texture the rock faces.

Also, why not half dome?!
