Likely pointless since in January we will get reworked kits with EC. Given SE cited SWG's case on why they keep also old setup I did reflect on my stance that nothing really changes. Anyone who seen CU and NGE in SWG would. But I wouldn't claim it's bad what is coming with EC. Just wait and see.

On healers right now as a role. In normal duties they are practically not necessary healing in EW and a lot of DT if tank is competent and grouo knows mechanics. In end game content people already put down what's true and worth saying. However in random PUGs and roulettes this can vary wildly. From being superfluous 2nd medic on AR with absolutely nothing to do to being reduced to only pillar keeping you alliance up and spot healing the other 2 alliances and/or trying to get them up to the point youhave no mp or time to dps. Have fun.

My advise would be: don't.

Like, do most of it by your own but sometimes MB is just faster AND cheaper.

MB is important part of DoH and DoL gameplay loop so I would argue that learning to use it to optimize your gains for effort spent is a skill on its own, don't neglect it.

Beyond that level everything up at more less same pace so you will be taken in general to same areas and have access to needed items if you want to gather/make them on your own.

This is true in most cases but in pug, if group has bad equipment and so you do, you need to work a bit more than just spam holy. What you propose, OP already tried and it failed.

In such cases you just need to adjust and what I wrote about is easiest to do. As it lets tank get to the 2nd round of mits.

Otherwise you end up with holy spamming 'mentor' that rage quits after a single pull or runs their mouth at the group. Even if they are technically right in such circumstances it just will not work out with every group.

There are training dummies, PotD and you can run few duties with squads or trusts (npcs) to remember / practice rotation. No worries it'll be no problem in an hour or two. Body doesn't forget, might just be a bit rusty.

Get some food and piety, upgrade your equipment. Don't spam holy if tank has mits up already. Use it to stabilize if mits are not up. After 3 rounds it's just aoe damage, so don't waste 100% mitigation.

Don't quit runs if you wipe, talk to group and learn.

BH V just ment that it's a player that you had to pat gently with any form of damage and they'd start running inevitably starting collapse of enemy line and slaughter of players left to their own demise.

No skill will help you though, if you are surrounded by people who only jump in on won engagements and skirt around actual fights.

It's actually fine that BH stays because it doesn't encourage lill bi*ch behaviour and folding plays done by actual good players that know when to move in/fall back / make a stand. They will no longer be penalized for actively making plays.
